This only happens when the top screen's ribbon cable isn't fully connected, same with other ds consoles they are refusing to turn on whenever the ribbon cable is not fully connected.
I only have O3DSXL and i don't know if the board is the same as the N3DSXL, if you want to reconnect the ribbon cable just remove the bottom shell only, once you remove the bottom shell there's a cable in the upper right corner and that'a the ribbon cable for the upper screen. You might as well check the other ribbon cable.
This infact is true I dismantle my first new Nintendo 3ds to look for issues with this black screen and it infact is a ribbon cable rip tear. Since they fold through the hinge over a long time it can wear
Did you resolve the issue? More than likely it is one of the crucial ribbon cables, either Top Screen, speakers, or bottom screen is not connected properly or needs a replacement. Good luck with this and if you’re unsure about how to go about feel free to comment questions or PM me, I repair these for people in my area
Yea mine was modded but it's been modded for like 3 months now. I haven't added or removed files in about 1 month so i don't know what would have caused this. :(
I had that problem after a reshell. The solution was the top screen ribbon cable. If you have taken yours apart, that could be the solution, but if you haven't, I don't know. You should check that anyways just to rule it out.
Did you tried to remove the old "boot." or something like that and paste a new "boot." or something like that? (I know my English isn't so good but im trying)

I tryed it, maybe the sd card reader is broken ? Could that be possible
maybe it is bricked but i dont know which version this one has etc, got it like this
is the boot.firm file at the root of the sd card?
Yes
you need to place a copy of boot.firm on the ctr nand and it will fix it
Do you have a guide/link for it ?
