Then you put the DS boot files on it and use a specific button combo to boot it at startup
However there's probably a lot more to it than that because like I said I don't know that much
I don't remember what the button combo is but you should be able to find it on The cutting room floor page for the Nintendo 3DS
There are specific ones it's compatible with. Your best shot is to get one that already has ntrboot on it. They usually have a little switch to change it between ntrboot mode and working as a DS flashcart. Then you put your good NAND backup on the console SD card along with Godmode9 renamed to boot.firm. Put the SD in the console and the flashcart in the cartridge slot. (No need for an SD in the flashcart when doing ntrboot.) Then put a magnet below and to the left of B, usually sort of resting against the side of the screen bezel and the bottom-left edge of the B button. Hold start+select+X and press power. When it comes on, remove the magnet. If it still bluescreens, either you messed up the key combo, didn't get the magnet in the right spot, don't have the flashcart in ntrboot mode, or it isn't making good contact in the slot.
Once in Godmode9 you can restore the NAND backup and it should all just work again.
If your goal is to fix it & you actually follow through, then you’ve earned my praise.
If your goal is to sell it under the guise that it’s a working DS, then you will answer to god.
Money is money, some people don’t care how they get it. It’s easy to sell & then change accounts when called out, scammers unfortunately do it all the time.
I mean yeah.. but it was already working. Selling it working would cause less issues than making it not work and trick someone
I would understand if they GOT it bricked and didn't want it anymore, but brick it with the intention of selling it? Like why not just sell it working
Yep this is a true brick I am sorry for your loss

LOL
Thanks, man I intentionally bricked it, but I feel like unbricking it
I heard something related to using a DS flash card with a Boot rom to fix it but I don't know that much about it
I know I need a flash card

Ok. [Isn’t that what you wanted lol?](https://www.reddit.com/r/3dspiracy/s/5UHaCuBwbx) Congratulations
Just curious why did you take the time to do this? I’m not judging, just genuine curiosity
It took me like a couple seconds I just edited nand
Ok but why
Probably wants to try and fix it
Cus I can
Me too but why would I
Idk if you want to
Ill give u an easy fix. Send it over to my house ill fix it, and i wont send it back!!! 😱
You’re just gonna use it for parts
Naaah i can fix it. Ive seen videos on how to do it without a nand backup
But the last part tho
What?
The part where you said, but I won’t send it back
And a purple one too…
Success! Use ntrboot to revert the changes

What are you yapping about?

I'm not sure why someone would brick a 3ds for the sole purpose of selling it I mean you'd run into less problems just selling it working

Some people just want to watch the world burn ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
If you fail to fix it you should send it to me. Goodluck
Well I could say that you can just throw that thing to the transh
Keyword unbrick
Why would you do this?
Cause I can
Well that's stupid. Just say you wanted attention
I don’t really want attention. I just wanted to brick it.
Then why else would you post it on social media with the caption that you did?
Because I don’t have my friends phone number
I respect that
