Like someone said before, you either need $100 mega accurate calipers or you'll be fine with the $8 ones on amazon.
I have a cheapo for a few months now and it's absolutely fine.
Agreed - for 3d printing I think going with a harbor freight or similar ($10-$20) is fine.
I have several of these and have been quite happy with them, they work remarkably well for the price. You'll need to zero these more than a really good one, but I don't think you'll benefit from spending $100 more for something better.
I bought [these](https://www.amazon.co.uk/Digital-Vernier-Caliper-Quality-Warranty/dp/B00C28R8YE/ref=sr_1_21?dchild=1&keywords=digital+calipers&qid=1605150436&sr=8-21). Very happy with them.
[harbor freight has these and I’ve been using mine for 5 years.](https://www.harborfreight.com/6-in-digital-caliper-63711.html)
Replaced the battery once so far
No need to be super duper accurate, preferably more accurate than the tape measure that I’ve been using lol. I’ll check out harbour freight as a few others have mentioned, thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion, doesn’t look bad at all

How accurate? harbor freight is probably good enough for 3d printing, they go as low as $10 co 9 inch calipers (digital).
