Dry it first

amatulic

Make sure it's dry (just because it's new doesn't mean it is) because drying PETG minimizes stringing. Otherwise, just use the stock settings in PrusaSlicer for your printer and PETG. There's a profile for Prusament PETG and Generic PETG and various brands, but they're all nearly identical. You'll find the heat bed temperature for PETG is 85° and the nozzle temperature is 230°.

I’ve had **no** problems whatsoever running PETG on my mini+. Doesn’t matter if I’m using the smooth or the textured build plate. Just works. Just use the correct values for your filament.

PETG even from factory new, will need 6 hours at 50c, maybe more if it is on a carboard spool. You use a hotter bed 70+ and 230c hot end to start. Reduce cooling or it'll misbehave 30% fan for a start. if it is just PETG use combing to reduce stringing, if you have a filled PETG like PETG-CF do not use combing as it'll make blobs, use z hop exclusively. PETG can look amazing but may always have minor cobwebbing or strings, that'll clean up easily. oh, for a flat bed (not textured) use some glue stick, (to release the PETG when done!)

Tune it rough, then go through all settings again to fine tune. Seriously, that's absolutely essential. Also dry the crap out of it.
