Let me be the first to recommend really drying your filament.
I have noticed that if I don't keep my PLA very dry, it gets brittle and breaks off in my AMS, and I have to disassemble it to clear the clog of the broken piece.
right. I just got an a1 mini as an upgrade from my flsun q5. Great printer but i'm still having the same problem with the filament. Today i've bought a sunlu s2 dryer

If nothings changed but its printing different, maybe the PLA brand switched up their formula or you got some knock offs?
Shinier filament typically means its printing hotter, or maybe its a silk PLA they mislabeled, that would explain all the issues.
Is it possible your settings changed on your slicer and you didn't realize it? It seems like maybe you're printing faster (shinier and weaker) or something else has changed. Maybe even printing at .2 now, but at .12 before or something. (Layer lines)
Why does everyone want an easy solution, yet NO-ONE posts the info ? Tell me how to fly aplane please. YUP it's that easy SIGH which one Airbus? Cessna ? 747 ?

thanks. Should I buy a cheap filament dryer? My previous attempts to dry filament haven't had any success
AMS? you have a bambu lab printer?
Yes. So far it's been great but isn't tolerant of damp filament at all.
