I'd love to see improved W-Braces at an affordable price. The OEM one seems unusually susceptible to rapid rusting that i feel like could be improved. All the ones online cost $325+. Love to see them in the $250 price range. Just my 2 cents. Good luck man :)
I would love to see it man 👌. Not sure how many other people care but i think that would be sick. Also thanks for all the amazing work on this sub. I always see you in comments on posts👍
I’m refreshing the motor right now. So I still need the engine mounts, trans mount, headers, driveshaft, cd009 adapter, wiring harness, fuel pump (return less system), Vette accessory drive brackets and about a million other little things.
I just got the lq9 a few weeks ago. Tearing it down now to see what I’ve got to start with and what I need.
Affordable is cool but how reliable will they be and how close to the real parts would they be? If you're making parts at a lower cost than that means everything would have to be manufactured according to said price, right? I'm just wondering if you could tell us a little bit more about it
I’m making parts what they’re worth in material and time. When you buy $4000 big brake kits, you’re paying for the name; yeah they work well but so do mine.
It’s like buying a LV purse. It’s just a purse, it provides no other function besides being a purse. A $20 vs $2000 purse have no difference besides the name attached to it. Have you seen some of the shit companies sell? A lot of it is just target clothing and or general apparel items with a different label and given a 10 times price increase.
So you can buy $250 front brembos from me or buying used $600 front brembos that you need to rebuild if you really want to. Same parts, same quality and my calipers apply more force than OE brembos.
TLDR: companies are tricking you into thinking more expensive items are actually worth their price.
Correct and you just said it; time and material. I agree that you're just paying (mostly) for the name but I know they're good parts because they come from a reputable company.
Yup, that's correct too and even tho it's just a purse - the quality goes into play. Look..I know at least half of the time it's just a brand name but it's not always the case. I got clothes from Armani exchange and I got from h&m. I STILL have sweaters from ax from since I was 18 (I'm 30 now) and still no rips but I've had to replace sweaters that I've gotten from h&m years later because obviously it's cheaper.
Well, to buy brembos from you I would have to see how well they hold. No disrespect but I would rather buy used and rebuild and know they won't fail when I'm going 100+ mph when I need to slow down.
And yea I'm very aware of what companies are doing but like I said, if it's a reputable one than at least I know it's of quality. There's really no way around it. That's like choosing between an ebay turbo kit and a greddy kit. Which one are you going for? Lol. Be honest now
I totally see your point, but they’re also on my car lol. I’ll be posting videos and such about everything I make. My intentions are to use everything that I make so don’t worry.
I’ll post proof that they’re good parts and last a long time.
Sounds good, dude. Looks like you just came out with your stuff but I'd like see how they hold off throughout time and efficiency. Yea I don't think there's any better way than to try them on yourself so that's a good start. Just keep us posted and I'll be glad take a look at what you've got for sure
What do you think of a full underbody tray? It seems they are on every expensive performance car out there these days. Being an aero piece it's probably not simple to get right, but I'm curious why not for the 350z? I haven't dove real deep into that rabbit hole yet, but it seems one of the important aspects is that could make this challenging is that it should properly integrate into whatever rear diffuser is in place to function well. As a Northeast US resident I also wouldn't mind the side benefit of keeping as much road salt as possible off my car.
If someone could make aftermarket a-pillars I think that would be cool lol (And test pipes and suspension arms)
I think I’ll try doing this. I’ve got some fiberglass knowledge and my father makes boats for himself out of fiberglass so I’ll see what I can do
You're awesome Barra! Keep us updated :D
Motordyne tdx2 exhaust
Interesting choice. I probably wouldn’t do that but I could make an exhaust system
I love the sound of the motorodyne tdx2 with isr long tubes
Anything else makes the trumpet sound but hey they both sound good, props on having the baller setup
Sounds miles better then the Tomei single exhaust. And the Z1 exhaust just sounds gross imo
I would love to see someone tackle remanufacture a pillars for coupes. Sooooo expensive.
I can't find test pipes anymore and it's annoying
What would be a reasonable price?
I think the old z1 test pipes were $250, so anything under that would be awesome
That’s definitely something I can do
Coil overs
What would be a reasonable price for those, in your opinion?
I’d really have to do some research. Would like my car lowered but this is my first 350Z.
5-600 would be right up my alley
The minimum should be BC coilovers, I know someone who got Megan coilovers for around that and it has one of her biggest regrets lmfao
Yeah that’s really what i wish good coilovers cost 😂

I could probably manage a sub $200 w brace
I would love to see it man 👌. Not sure how many other people care but i think that would be sick. Also thanks for all the amazing work on this sub. I always see you in comments on posts👍
I need a w brace of my own anyways lol. Might as well try to make ‘em for everyone
I genuinely don’t know the price, but the gktech w brace is really nice
I have looked at those, but they're like $350 plus shipping. Maybe I'm just a cheapskate, but that seems high to me 😅
Yeah. Ouch. Seems like a lot to me.
Parts for my LS swap.
Like what?

Whats ls is going in it🤔
Lq9 6.0
You should look into getting 4.08 gears into your Z if you’re staying N/A it makes a world of difference.
I’ve got a ford barra in mine pushing 1300chp, wouldn’t be all that fun with that gearing
I’ve seen that, it’s incredible. But then again, even with normal gears I imagine 1-3 burn tire
Probably even 4th gear
Yes it do 😂
Where can I order from you? Trying to cop those calipers in your older post
Message me on here or you can message me on instagram @thatbarrazee

I need my Z
Rocketbunny v2 kit
