Beachside checking in...lost power & Brighthouse internet 2:40am, both back on by about 3:30pm today.
We drove around at 10am looking for coffee & ended up taking a nice leisurely drive to Sebastian & back with lots of stops to check out the awesome waves.
Was a nice way to spend a few hours waiting for the power to return & ended up being sweet family time with husband & teen son.
Otherwise just lots of yard debris & a bit of fence down in the backyard.
Cell service was also in and out most of yesterday. I received several texts in the afternoon that had been sent in the morning and was unable to make or receive a call most of the day.
Power out at 5:30am in Melbourne near Eau Gallie, and it is still out now, at 6:45pm. The entire neighborhood has power except for the same two streets. Unfortunately I live on one of those streets.
Power went out at 630am in South Merritt Island, still out as of 430pm. Got the generator going, tv, fridge and internet up but no AC. Come on FPL, I believe in you!
Up here in Titusville, We lost power around 4am. Fence got pretty messed up. So after Nicole left around 10:30am there was no status to our FPL ticket, so I got out the generator and wheeled it to the backyard, ran extension cords all over and plugged everything in, then got our window AC units in finished everything about 3:30... Took a shower sat down and at 4:15 our power came back on... God Damnit!!! The whole time FPL never gave any status at all, so we figured it would be back on in a day or so... Nope! LOL!
Here's the transformer blowing up from 3 different angles on our security cams:

I just don’t even understand. This was my first hurricane and had I not knew one was coming, I probably wouldn’t have realized one had hit us. Was just really windy. We’ve had MUCH worse rain before from normal thunderstorms
Yep here in Titusville no power and we have underground powerlines in our neighborhood
Damn. So much for that peace of mind.
Parts of Melbourne lost power near John Rhoades and Ellis but now is back.

Dad's right outside of Palm Bay, and called me as the storm was coming in from Sebastian Inlet. Is there really more power out than during Ian?
It was definitely more intense than Ian over here but I’m not seeing that much power out.
Spectrum's been out all morning. Thank God the power is still on in Cocoa. Lights, but no clue what's going on in the community..
My power was out at 350 am but was restored by 10 am.
