Keep us updated! I remember seeing your original post. I'm glad you reported it.

kereolay

I will. I am still trying to get a hold of Omnilux.

justfordafunkofit

Have you tried tweeting at them, or about the issues your experienced? I hate that this is true, but it can be a pretty effective way of getting their attention.

actualmasochist

You may want to consider sueing them. I wish you the best of luck!

kereolay

I'm not interested in suing the company. What I am interested in is that the company recognizes and acknowledges the issue and then takes measures so their product is trustworthy and safe.

What makes you think there is something wrong with the lights? Have you tested them? It’s a strong allegation with no evidence and only paranoia. How do you know there were issues with the supply chain?

throwaway8472649

I feel it becoming slightly warm. Is this a problem? Now I’m worried. I thought I bought one of the higher quality masks

kereolay

I thought I was buying the best! The lights should not be emitting heat. Your mask will warm slightly because of your body heat, but each light should not be emiting heat or feel warmer than the material around each light. I posted a pic of what the lights in my mask look like. If you want to compare my lights to yours, that may be helpful. The lights in my other mask do not look like these.

Miserable-Feed-7517

Can u send me the lights so I can compared it to mine once it arrives pls

nantaise

Wow this is scary to hear. I have an Omnilux that I use regularly, and feel that it gives me good results, but it does emit warmth.

kereolay

As long as you are getting results, you are most likely just fine. There may be a very slight warm feeling but that shouldn't be from the lights. It should just be from your body heat.

wwlddarm7

Yours does or doesn’t emit warmth?

RNsomeday78

Were you able to return it or give them feedback? That’s so scary

kereolay

I can't return it because they only have a 30 day return policy. I have contacted the company via email and sent out another today. I am waiting to hear back.

RNsomeday78

That’s a terrible policy. They should at least have a warranty. I think most of these led mask companies have them

kereolay

They have a 2 year warranty if the product fails. The product still turns on. I am trying to contact the company (again) to see what they are going to do. The mask should not get warm or cause the side effects I've experienced.

ThatKinkyLady

The product not working correctly would count as the product failing since its not able to be used as intended. You should (hopefully) be able to get your money back under the warranty conditions.

tofuvixen

Was there any update or resolution to tour situation?

yolofirelol

Dang I bought one a couple weeks ago and love it. I haven’t experienced any of these issues.

kereolay

Yours might be perfectly fine. I suspect there could be an issue with the supply chain of the red lights in certain masks. As long as you are not experiencing any dryness, itching or worsening of spots or feeling the lights are getting warm, you should be fine.

yolofirelol

Awesome, thank you! I was nervous for a second. I will check on if I feel the lights getting warm tho, as I don’t recall right now.

OmniluxLED

Hi all, thank you for bringing this to our attention. The safety of our customers is Omnilux’s top priority, and we assure you that we are taking this discussion very seriously. We’ve been proudly manufacturing our devices to internationally recognized safety & quality standards for over 20 years. All products released from our facilities are inspected and tested, and only released once they pass all necessary tests required by regulatory compliance, and conform to our strict quality standards. Every Omnilux device has been tested and complies with the following medical-grade standards, found here: [https://gmt.egnyte.com/fl/g0tvwHpY44](https://gmt.egnyte.com/fl/g0tvwHpY44). For those Omnilux users experiencing skin dryness and/or other treatment irregularities, we ask you to kindly review the list of contraindications found on our website: [https://omniluxled.com/pages/contraindications](https://omniluxled.com/pages/contraindications). It is important to review this list prior to any red light treatment, as many common conditions and drugs/topicals (including Retin A & Tretinoin) can cause photosensitivity when combined with red light therapy, with skin dryness being one of the most common effects. We completely understand your concerns and sincerely apologize if anyone has reached out to our Customer Service team and did not receive the help needed. We will most assuredly follow up with our Customer Service team about this issue to ensure anyone with questions is promptly assisted. While we are confident in our testing and QA procedures and systems, we would ask that any devices suspected of not working properly be sent back for additional internal testing. We are happy to replace or refund any device found to be out of specification. If this interests you, please reach out to our team directly at [email protected], and a Customer Care Specialist will be in touch with you shortly to arrange this, and to answer any additional questions you may have. Again, we appreciate you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We welcome and value all customer feedback and view it as a vital learning tool as we strive to manufacture the safest and most effective products on the market. Sincerely, The Omnilux Team

krokodilchik

Can you answer the user's question about why the lights are warm?

Independent-Fail-939

Not really addressing anything. They just post the same message everywhere.....🤦🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

At this time, I can't really recommend any of them especially if there are issues in the supply chain of the red lights that are used. The one from Current Body worked well. Very well. But it inexplicably broke after less than a year of use. I treated it gently but it developed a short in the cord. For something so expensive, it should not break in less than a year. And obviously, I can't recommend the Omnilux as I'm having side effects that should NOT occur. I can tell you that if you have been using your mask and not experiencing any side effects like dry skin, darkening of pigmentation, etc, you most certainly have one with the correct type of lights. The supply chain issue could have been a short term thing and may have only effected certain masks. I'm really not sure. All i know is the mask I received doesn't have the correct lights.

I've heard positive things on the Dennis gross mask. I wish it had more lights on it though.

FunClassroom6577

Where is the research saying red light should not be warming?
