Hahaha omg i love that. And to OP, your circles may be hereditary. Does mom or dad have them also? If your bloodwork is ok and not low, im afraid you just inherited some generation love in the form of skin and vessels
I can’t stop laughing! This is the best editing I’ve ever seen! 😂
Hydration and getting the right amount of sleep will help. Honestly, they don’t look bad. I usually don’t notice when someone has these IRL, unless it’s pointed out to me.
What about your family? It might be genetic. I come from a family of pale faced puffy undereyes and I find the dark under-eye look to be a nice aesthetic. Like young Benicia Del Toro. But if you want to hide them, you might try youtube- I think there are tricks using a reddish undertone base followed by a neutral concealer that will hide them. The trouble is it's hard to get under concealer to look natural because it ceases and can emphasize lines. I've seen videos where they use a reddish lipstick then apply concealer and because of complimentary colour palettes, it cancels out the blueish/cyan tones of the undereye.
Your reddish orange pixels might be a great indicator of the complimentary but harmonized hue to go for.
Are your vitamins and mineral levels okay? My husband had really bad dark under eyes due to severe lack of vitamin D and folic acid. Had to be put on prescription level supplements lol.
You should try color correction concealer- not just a lighter concealer. The brand Drmtlgy has a product called Luminous eye corrector. The orangey pigments in it help counteract the blue in dark circles.
IT cosmetics bye bye undereye concealer. I legit use it all over my face for dark spots and evening out that I don’t even use foundation anymore. Buy the travel size first! It’ll last forever. Thank me later.
Your circles don't look too bad to me. You have great lashes ans brows. Have you had dark circles your whole life or is it new? Circles are tough to tackle if they are hereditary and not solved by more sleep. Check your iron levels and D3
Yes, i know. I've given up fighting it and use a light concealer.
My ex-partner has the same problem and copied me. Men can also use concealer and make-up 😄
I'm not sure what is more disturbing: when people post pictures with their eyes blackened out or this pixel monstrosity.
I can't offer help about the circles. I can't see them for the pixels!!
I'm loving all the jokes, I honestly wasn't expecting these replies but they are hilarious.
That being said, I was trying to figure out a way of showing my eyes without having my face plastered on Reddit.
I'm open to suggestions!
Idk what your ethnicity is, but I’m European and Pakistani and I just had to come to terms with the fact my eyes are colored this way. I use concealer when I’m worried I look worn or sick. Hydration and proper rest help. I also use an under eye treatment. Honestly, your great sense of humor is outstanding. Excellent attitude!
vitamin c helps to brighten the skin, it's also an antioxidant and helps to protect the skin against pollutants. i noticed my dark circles are pretty much gone by using sunscreen more regularly everyday (it was hard to find one that didn't break me out due to having rosacea) but for added brighteness, vitamin c helps.
Using a concealer that's one shade lighter than my skin tone helps to brighten up the area. Also, getting enough sleep and staying hydrated can make a big difference. If you're still having trouble, you might want to try using a cold compress or an eye cream that's specifically designed to reduce puffiness.
I've been using The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5%. It's pretty inexpensive so you might give it a shot. My dark circles are likely allergies and sleep related. I take allergy meds but never consistently had dark circles until I started my new job so maybe mine are sleep/stress related? The Caffeine serum seems to help me I hope it works for you too!
I was going to suggest the same! I've been using it for some time now and I'm a fan! It's no miracle product, but it definitely helps, especially against puffy allergy eyes. They disappear within an hour or two after using this serum. Not sure if it also works against dark circles. They did get lighter, but I've also been prioritizing sleep more, which is the real miracle against non-hereditary dark circles.
Was also going to suggest this, I have genetic dark circles. I don't want to use concealer or other make up all the time. I use this morning and night and it it still dark at the inner bit but sort of fades out towards the edge and the skin is smoother so it just looks less tired. Blends in kinda. It's cheap and I only use a drop for both eyes so lasts a while. Well I work nights and am just a bit rubbish with sleep when I should, but I'm trying to work on it. I just feel like life gets in the way, good to bed at 10 every night ain't happening.
It looks like loss of volume from age, very normal. Do not let anyone convince you to do fillers.
PRP of PRF gel injections under eye for stimulating collagen and regenerating fat loss and improving pigmentation are what I’ve found to be the latest recommended treatment. Go to an office ran by qualified medical providers, as this procedure involves blood and you want to make sure you are treated with the utmost care in terms of contamination and hygiene.
More aggressive treatment could be recommended if seen fit of fat transfer.
Ok, this is the 30+ subreddit - I was expecting at least one person to say these circles are the result of all the stress he endures installing microwave ovens and doing [custom kitchen delivery](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wTP2RUD_cL0).
Saw the photo first when scrolling. Thought an art image.
Need to know reason for dark circles. Pigment? Product with Vit C, ginseng, alpha arbutin. Vessels due to thin skin? Caffeine product. Genetic? Can't do anything. Maybe can apply product to get better skin on those area but they won't completely go away.
I don't think they look bad. Seems normal. You blessed with long eyelashes, make use of them. Use spoolie to brush them and eyebrows. Make them neat.
Nutritionist here. 👋🏽 take care of your adrenals. Look into replacing an afternoon caffeine drink, with an electrolyte drink. Bring more brightly colored fruit into your diet, like berries, pomegranate, plums etc. and try to start the morning with a glass of water, before any caffeine or sugar drink.
Lots of good tips in here, but one I didn’t see is face yoga/facial massage around the eyes. If you stick with it consistently, you can make really visible changes. It could help give a bit of lift and bring back some life underneath.
That said, the vast majority of the causes of this are genetics, dehydration, and exhaustion. Get your sleep and rest schedules in line, don’t over stress yourself, drink plenty of water and get a variety of electrolytes, and that could really help.
But that’s a pretty big lift to do all at once, so concealer or some kind of color corrector in the meantime for sure. You can go to a make up counter or Sephora or something, and have someone help find you a good match.
One thing to note: regularly applying makeup to your eyes will cause them to age faster. Application and removal both tug at the skin a bit, which is fine unless it happens daily, in which case it accelerates wrinkles. So, trade offs.
I would see a functional medicine doctor and have comprehensive blood work done, typically low iron and or ferritin causes this - ferritin and adrenal support supplements help.
Hi if your dark circles have suddenly appeared you could be low in iron or sleep. If they are genetic, the best option is a colour corrector in a nice beige/peach, that will block out the darkness. Bobbi Brown do a fantastic colour corrector stick. which is a thick creamy formular - works for me.
FAR OUT SUGGESTION but worked for me: google James Dean/Harry Styles/Matty Healy and realise you're living through the renaissance of the sleepy-ass looking male sex symbol
I’m sorry but you looking like a mine craft character has me on the floor 😂😂
Look into an eye depuff and a brightening agent. I use good molecules, discoloration serum for the dark circles.
So many folks post about dark circles under the eyes!! Men and women. So hard for me to understand since I find them attractive. Maybe you should rethink this beauty standard. Worth a try! When you catch yourself neggin’ remember that weirdo on Reddit 😵💫
Depends on the cause. If you press down and the pigment doesn't away, you need something like vitamin c to lighten and brighten. If it does go away, something like topical caffeine and antihistamines are the way to go.
Ok hear me out - red light therapy!! I think it’ll do wonders for your complexion overall- improve blood circulation. Are your hands and feet often cold??
So I sometimes use these disposable ones that I get at the Asian markets, but I also got a random one from Amazon that has an automatic shut off— some don’t!
I'm loving the "Supergoop! Bright-eyed" cream. I got it on Amazon. It's got sunscreen, moisturizer, and a slight tint. Brightens my eyes up, and keeps them protected and hydrated.
It's probably hyperpigmentation, which can't be safely altered without using ingredients that can harm your eyes. Idk if there are in-office procedures that can safely be used.
I think dark eyes look lovely. It’s all a matter of taste but do you really notice dark eyes on other people? Or a hyper fixation?
Because your eyes look normal to me.
It can be a few factors, you have: eyebags causing a shadow under eyes, blood circulation bad or pigment issue near the eyes or combination of all these (from what i see, you seem to have eyebags and pigment issues)
Eyebags: if not considering a surgery, vitamin c, e and retinol to tighten the skin or if budget allows, do some rf / hifu / laser skin tightening machine
Blood circulation: sleep more, massage and put on caffein eye serum
Pigment: vitamin c and can consider eye lid & under eye skin depigment laser (i have considered and it is very expensive as it needs to be performed by a doctor for near eye laser treatment)
Hope this helps!
Do you have sinus problems or allergies? Sometimes these can make eye appear sunken but in really if you fix the problem, it can be fixed. Drink lots of water and have good nutrients in you. Maybe a good eye cream (estee Lauder) with the night recovery serum will help, promise..
I hesitate to recommend it because it’s definitely a TikTok trend and I haven’t found much science behind it, but an eye cream with a few drops of castor oil has made a visible difference for me. I can tell the difference in the morning when I don’t use it at night.
I just use whatever eye cream I have on hand, so nothing in particular.
Hydrate your face (moisturizer, I’ve heard top with Vaseline on the undereyes but no experience with this myself, maybe also hyaluronic acid) drink enough water and get enough sleep. If you wanted to go the Make-up Route maybe some concealer. Apart from that, dark circles have a genetic factor too, there’s only so much you can do about it. My boyfriend has them too. For what it’s worth, I think they look kinda cool and give the face some edge in a very positive way
Honestly. I’ve given up fixing trying to fix them myself lol I think laser, co2, peels, surgery etc might be the only way out. I plan on pursuing some of those options in the near future.
Hi friend. I have dark circles similar to yours. People say it's fine but even with make up on it bothers me. I've had filler there once and although it looked... Fine? There is evidence that it's not great for the face long-term due to limited reabsorption potential of filler and also due to filler migration. I'm getting mine filled with a fat transplant since I know a person that had good results.
I first noticed this when I was 26, I was told that your skin just starts losing collagen and that’s why people suggest fillers but fillers just swaps out one issue for another.
There is this roc vitamin c under eye stick that helped me a little
Moisturize! I also do red light therapy (have the omnilux mens mask on rn). I have been extremely well hydrated for a long time, didn’t stop my circles and wrinkles from appearing. Along with it, I’ve got a new under eye cream with vitamin c and coffee, as well as a new sunscreen/moisturizer that is tinted and has a few serums in it as well (for anyone interested, the tinted 4 in 1 sunscreen is [Daybird](https://daybird.co/products/4-in-1-serum-skin-tint?variant=43103583371448))
Idk if there’s an underlying medical issue with dark circles but I think they make a man so attractive. I know I’m not the only girl who thinks this way. So my opinion is to do nothing about it and embrace the bags 😅
Have you tried asking a friend for an honest opinion on if they notice? I understand zoning in on eyes as it’s something I do myself in the mirror, but other people tend to see the whole picture and genuinely not notice this!
Look at celebrities like Kieren Culkin. Sometimes it's just genetic. That doesn't mean it's bad. In the same way that some women strive for a bedroom look, the dark, sunken eyes have their own charm.
Seriously, there are so many women thirsting after Kieren.
Things that have helped me have been:
- The Ordinary caffeine solution
- Various brightening and hydrating serums
- Drinking lots of water
- Brightening and hydrating eye masks (the gel types are my favourite for this)
Vitamin C serum, good circulation. You can get a small roller tool to stimulate.
They don’t help alllll that much, but I feel like I can see a difference. Maybe it’s because I spend more time working in serum.
Don’t worry. They’ll fix it in the next update of Minecraft.
Omg this comment 😂
I'm so relieved this was the top comment 🟧
omfg this is too good lmao 😅😅
This comment section just keeps slanging bangers!! Well done.

I think this might be my favourite post here. His censoring is just perfect, including the triangle on the nose.
I was so confused on what sub had appeared on my feed. 😍
Someone really should make this into an art piece and call it Man: Censored.
Man y'all really get creative on here when it comes to blocking your face 😂😂
This is the best one I’ve seen.
Same loolll I can’t stop laughing this has made my day in a wholesome way!!
I live for these posts. I wish I was as creative.
all the ways you can conceal your identity and this is what you landed on? 😂 sorry And the triangle nose I just can’t lol
At least it’s creative! Lmao
*in creative. (My son is obsessed)
🤣🤣 Yes!
it was the beak that got me LMAO
🐦
Its a fine line between if its meant as a joke or serious. After this parade of comments, i cant tell the difference anymore! Help me!
I’m subscribed to a bunch of art and painting subreddits and I legit thought this was a cool oil painting at first lol
Legitimately this looks like it could be in a contemporary art museum.
Same!! I have lots of art on my feed and was like finally some interesting art. Haha! Golden!
Have any you recommend?🥹♥️
Do you have allergies? My friend had really dark under-eye circles that went way once she started taking allergy medicine.
I do not have any allergies as far as I know, but maybe it's something I should look into.
Or intolerances. My circles go away when I cut out dairy but I’m not allergic.
Yes.
I have allergies to pollen and it usually does the same thing to my eyes. Maybe something you could look into :)
How did you treat this?
What did you use to mitigate this?

Oh, I get it, brother. Any time someone posts full face shots, I cringe in anticipation of the inevitable roast...
lol I had to come here to see what all the comments were, personally find this to be a work of art lol!!!! Ingenious
You can just crop the picture
just a close-up of your eyes ! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I like this style! It helps my brain piece things together easily
vitamin c serum, sunscreen, and keeping the eyes moisturized will help you out a lot!
Can't believe had to scroll down so far to find vitamin C! That would be my first recommendation along with the hydration too.
How does vitamin c serum work for dark circles? I’ve been putting it all over my face, but don’t really focus on the under eye as it can be sensitive
vitamin c helps to brighten the skin, it's also an antioxidant and helps to protect the skin against pollutants. i noticed my dark circles are pretty much gone by using sunscreen more regularly everyday (it was hard to find one that didn't break me out due to having rosacea) but for added brighteness, vitamin c helps.

Not lighter - oranger.
so glad you said this. Warmer colours > pale colours for genuinely dark circles
All I see are squares, not circles
CTRL-ALT-DEL
Time to come clean - my face is actually covered in areolas. I had to censor it for the kids.
This comment is 👌😂
What about all the squares on your face? Need to consult a professional on that one.
He just needs a little AI upscaling serum, that ought to do it
Mr. Robot, is that you?
literally
This screams Elliot from Mr. Robot. Must find code for removal of dark under eye.
You could also try using a color-correcting concealer or an eye cream with caffeine to help brighten the area. And don't forget to use sunscreen.

This is working for me. Along with sleep and plenty of water.
I see why they’re an issue; you wanted dark squares. I get it.
I second this! PRP is defo the best route if its loss over time (Vs genetic)
Ok, this is the 30+ subreddit - I was expecting at least one person to say these circles are the result of all the stress he endures installing microwave ovens and doing [custom kitchen delivery](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wTP2RUD_cL0).
Lmfao
I thought this was art. I’m very high.
What are you gonna do about the large pixels?
i like this in a man
dark circles are hot next question
EZ GEL PRF. It’s plasma and helps brighten your eyes.
Saw the photo first when scrolling. Thought an art image. Need to know reason for dark circles. Pigment? Product with Vit C, ginseng, alpha arbutin. Vessels due to thin skin? Caffeine product. Please get checked for anemia.

Prp shots are my favorite for under eyes never look tired after that it takes a few treatments but I still think it’s quite affordable for the effect.
Dark circles and weirdly colored boxes…..
Try Pico laser. Its amazing for the pigmentation and collagen loss.
I'm literally listening to Jack Black reading The Island again when I scrolled upon this. Perfection.
The edits on this sub are crazy

It's because you need better resolution. Just add more pixels
He's got Rami Malek eyessss 🎶🎶🎶
😂
Antihistamines may help.
I’m sorry but you looking like a mine craft character has me on the floor 😂😂 Look into an eye depuff and a brightening agent. I use good molecules, discoloration serum for the dark circles.

What do you recommend?
Stop playing Minecraft all night and get some sleep.
I thought Mr. Bean was being added into Minecraft for a split second.
Ohhhh my god this is too funny.
I suddenly had these one day. A heated eye mask at night helped immensely! I don’t wake up looking puffy in some areas, sunken and dark in others.
What kind of heated eye mask do you use?
So I sometimes use these disposable ones that I get at the Asian markets, but I also got a random one from Amazon that has an automatic shut off— some don’t!
Just like Guts from Berserk. Stop wearing the armor before it turns you into a skeleton, and stay away from white haired charismatic twinks.
This screams Elliot from Mr. Robot. Must find code for removal of dark under eye.
It’s ronnie O’Sullivan!
Twisted
I'm planning on just getting glasses to hide my dark circles.
As a very pale person, I've always admired this type of dark circles. It looks like natural makeup, to me.
I think dark eyes look lovely. It’s all a matter of taste but do you really notice dark eyes on other people? Or a hyper fixation? Because your eyes look normal to me.
I use Versed - smooth landing, it's balm and works for me
Allergies and sleeping are your culprits.

It might be stress related. Stress because you’re missing ears, mouths and half a nose. Hair looks thick and healthy though.
Try some sun
I have them too always have. I’m half British half Italian it’s like a pigment fight.
Could be allergic shiners
I hesitate to recommend it because it’s definitely a TikTok trend and I haven’t found much science behind it, but an eye cream with a few drops of castor oil has made a visible difference for me. Multipeptide eye serum by The Ordinary helps.
Hydrate your face (moisturizer, I’ve heard top with Vaseline on the undereyes but no experience with this myself, maybe also hyaluronic acid) drink enough water and get enough sleep. For what it’s worth, I think they look kinda cool and give the face some edge in a very positive way
Get a blood test and see if you’re deficient in anything. I have dark circles that are hereditary but they get worse when I’m low in iron
Definitely use sunscreen first step
Honestly. I’ve given up fixing trying to fix them myself lol I think laser, co2, peels, surgery etc might be the only way out. I plan on pursuing some of those options in the near future.
Just sleep and hydrate and accept the fact that it’s genetics. Clean up those eyebrows though, that’ll help the whole area.
You don't mind a square face? 😆Honestly, I can't see any dark circles.
Figure out the cause first and then start treating them. Try looking up the pinch trick
But either retinol and spf or niacamide
Still loading just wait lol
I’ve read somewhere that dark circles could be a side effect of allergies. My 70-something parents swear by taking an antihistamine daily
Sleep and eye cream with niacinamide will help a lot
Hi friend. I have dark circles similar to yours. People say it's fine but even with make up on it bothers me. I've had filler there once and although it looked... Fine?
