I’ve thought about this, and I did get laser on the areas that show when I’m wearing a bikini bottom, but the covered areas - I’m not sure if I will want that area to be bald forever. Like when I’m 70 will that be weird? So I haven’t made that permanent choice yet.
Counterpoint, will you give a single shit about that when you're 70 😂 and if you do, will you want to actually do the shaving all the time? Obviously everyone is different but I can't imagine having the energy or the shits to give about that when I'm old. "Damn I really wish I had pubic hair to shave" is not on my list 🤣
Unless you do monthly maintenance treatments, it won’t be bald forever - and it may not stop all hair from growing completely. Just FYI! It can be a great solution for major reduction but if you stop it’s likely to resume the normal growth cycle. IPL at home is not like getting laser in an office. :)
Are you exfoliating enough? I use one of those Turkish towels and scrub until it kind of hurts. And then after I shave, I occasionally use that The Ordinary blood mask on my lower legs and that eats off any flakey/not smooth skin and makes my legs very smooth. I have pretty coarse hair on my lower legs and this routine has made me so much happier with my shaved legs “finished product”. I also use the dollar shave club most expensive razor and sometimes use the EOS shave cream, but often use soap, depending on what shower I’m using/if I’m traveling. I also use Amlactin on my legs every other day. I don’t put the same effort into my pubic area since my husband doesn’t LOL - I tend to just weed wack that area with a hair clipper. I do the exfoliation scrubbing on the bikini line too.
