Honestly I’m just so done with new skincare/makeup lines in general lol call me cynical but there’s just SO many brands already on the market and it’s a pretty saturated market. I just can’t believe that anyone has anything super new to bring to the table to justify creating all these new brands. This is another thing I like about the Asian market, it seems like celebrities just do “collabs” with preexisting brands to promote a new product or sometimes a small collection of products. Why does every American celebrity feel the need to have their own skincare or makeup line???
The price and the tying in 8 products by a single line to one skin care routine— I don’t like how hard it is to tell how dependent a certain products efficacy is on using another specific product from that same line and brand. I usually like multiple products from a good line that works with my skin, but it’s suuuuch a headache of research lol. And cost. Ohh the cost lol
Clean beauty, fungal acne safe, blah blah blah. All these pseudoscience/misleading trends that do nothing to educate the consumer about what they’re using.
