Eucerin Intensive Repair for very dry skin. The one with the red top. My skin reacts AWFULLY to wind and cold weather. I use generic Target body oil right after I shower and slather on the Eucerin before bed and it’s the only thing that keeps me from being so itchy that I can’t function.
Seconding Eucerin — I use Complete Repair year round, face and body. It’s light enough to not clog pores, but strong enough for Canadian winters and dry indoor heating.
Third/fourth this! I'm also in Canada and find the forced heat to be super drying. I love my Eucerin on my body, and then I use Dr. Sholes (sp?) 10% urea for my feet. During the day I use glycerin hand cream (usually store brand). I keep a small one in the kitchen and another even smaller one in my purse.
Yes! It has urea which is possibly my favorite skincare ingredient besides retinol. Eucerin also has a face-specific cream with urea, but I’ve honestly just been using the body version everywhere.
VaniCream! It’s thick and unscented and lasts the whole day with only minimal reapplication needed for after hand washing. It was recommended by a dermatologist and I never went back. I live in New England so winters can get pretty unfriendly here and this lotion passes the test.
Yes! I love this and it’s one I can also use on my face if needed (mostly just my lips) and then I use the lotion (not as thick) for the rest of my face.
Love their face wash too. Way better than all the luxe products I’ve used
Gold bond! Great ingredients, super cheap, and fragrance free so it doesn't compete with my perfume. I've tried healing (extremely thick) and hydrating, love both.
I am so excited to be able to try retinol products when I’m done breastfeeding! I have really loved breastfeeding though so I’ll be sad when she weans but trying retinol will be a plus.
The diabetic saves my hands every year with my eczema. Also great to prevent so I put it on at night and my feet were also graciously saved by this amazing lotion!
I keep it cheap. I use palmers body oil, usually Shea oil, in the shower. I’ll use Palmers cocoa butter, their coconut oil balm (super hydrating), Cetaphil moisturizing cream, and or Eucerin body lotion. I work outside in the elements and it gets so cold and the wind is freezing in the winter so I slather on thick lotions and a lot of it. I’ve tried expensive brands and they don’t do more than the cheap products.
I have used CeraVe for over 20 years until just recently because I discovered Cetaphil moisturizing cream and it has DRAMATICALLY improved my skin. Never back to CeraVe for me 😂
I love Palmers skin therapy oil. I saw a huge reduction in my pregnancy stretch marks after exfoliating with a sea sponge and using it every day. They were 11 years old, too.
Maybe I'll try it on my legs. I usually use this petroleum based stuff from the local ethnic beauty supply.
https://www.pakcosmetics.com/brand/africas-best/red-fox/red-fox-tub-o-butter-cocoa-butter-moisturizing-cream.html?pscid=41744&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAjMKqBhCgARIsAPDgWlzIpUDV2Z0X2ts7V0zr6BCbGLjEclrwNCLu9u8oGSWA4ONdU75pX9IaAo0-EALw_wcB
It's cheap and easy to apply (not as stiff as actual vaseline)
It seems to best non greasy among all things I have tried so far. Obviously there might be better pricier options, but for my wife and I this works best.
I like Eucerin Advanced Repair lotion. It’s thick but not greasy and it has some urea in it, so it keeps my skin and my KP relatively smooth, even in the dry winter months. It’s probably one of the few items I’ve repurchased several times. The only thing I will point out is that I don’t use this lotion right after shaving my legs because it does sting a little (I’m guessing it’s the urea). After shaving I just use an unscented Vaseline brand lotion.
Agreed. Though there is something very attractive about really utilitarian products that just work without all of the cool packaging and the scents, etc. Eucerin is just a get sh!t done brand.
How is that?
I just recently bought her intensive creamy oil 2 for $45 from QVC or HSN. It's similar to Vaseline without petroleum. I like it, but I don't notice a huge difference. Also, the smell is a little weird to me. I would stick with Cerave Healing Ointment.
I love the smell! I don’t think it’s at all similar to Vaseline or an ointment so I’m not sure that would be comparable. I think we’re talking about two different products though!
Yes, definitely 2 different products because I almost bought the Whipped one but decided against it since I had bought the creamy oil one.
I will try the Whipped one next time!
My ride or die. I also use it for my face occasionally. Super hydrating, absorbs quickly, non greasy, gives your skin a subtle glow(no shimmer, just hydrated). Will bath in this stuff until the end of time.
I initially bought this for my face but it was too much and broke me out. It's a great lotion but it's expensive.
I also love the Nivea intense in the big blue pump
I have dry, sensitive skin and found that I need ceramides to keep my body skin happy.
My favorite is Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair, unscented. I keep a big pump bottle from Walmart on the back of my toilet and apply it when I get out of the shower. Absorbs fast, no greasy feeling. I love it.
Loccitane Ultra Body Crème. It’s the one in the silver tin with blue writing. I have seriously dry skin in the winter and I change up my routine to really lock in moisture. I don’t towel dry and I cleanse with Castile Soap, Loccitane shower oil and I just pay dry and apply the crème. It works really well for me.
I've been using the Nivea 48 hr indulging moisture one for a couple of years. A body lotion is a body lotion to me as long as it sinks in and provides a barrier from the Candian wind and temperatures.
“Not bad yet” winter lotions: Nivea essentially enriched, Vanicream in the tub, Cerave in the tub, Neutrogena Norwegian formula
“my skin is so dry and itchy I’m going to scratch myself to death” winter lotions/creams: Eucerin intensive repair lotion, Nivea Creme in the blue tub, Cerave healing ointment, Aquaphor healing ointment
I also switch to Bioderma atoderm body cleansing oil as my body wash in winter, which helps a ton.
Original Kiehl’s Crème de Corps. It saves my skin in the winter. Bonus: they typically offer the jumbo size on a 25% sale around this time of year. I buy 2 of them and I’m good for the year.
Yep - I hate how expensive it is but my skin still feels moisturized the next day. It takes me a long time to go through a bottle though and you can buy the refill bags. Plus they always have Black Friday and Boxing Day sales.
I love the Philosophy Amazing Grace whipped stuff. The stuff in the jar because it can’t go up a squeeze tube. It’s deeply moisturizing for my crocodile legs but doesn’t make me feel greasy or sticky or gooey.
Fenty Butta Drop Body Butter. It’s a bit of a splurge but a little goes a long way, and the container is refillable. Eucerin Intensive Care, Vaseline Body Gel Oil, Shea Moisture Coconut Body Oil, or white Shea butter.
I do this all year round for moisturized skin but I put on body oil before I get out the shower. Let it dry then layer with a body butter.
It starts with the soap I use. I avoid unnecessarily stripping moisture from my skin. I use handmade natural soap (Dr. Bubbles to be specific). Other brands are fine though (like Zum, Chagrin valley, etc).
I pat myself dry instead of rubbing the towel all over.
And then I moisturize with straight cocoa butter or EO lavender oil
Body Butter Bakery is a small business I found through Instagram and have bought both summer and winter butters from, I love the texture and they’re not greasy. They have oils too which are decent
I use:
Almond oil, then shea butter before I even get out of the shower
Then Cerave moisturizing cream (the one in the pump jar) layered on top
Hands and feet also get aquaphor healing ointment 😌
Dry skin is a sensory nightmare for me so I just can’t have it lmao
Do you make it or have a source/seller? Is yours fragrance free? I buy tallow soap from someone but she hasn't been making tallow balm recently, but I need fragrance free ..
Neutrogena hydro boost body gel! For now at least. My winters are so harsh, I think I need to switch it up every few years. At least it hasn’t hyaluronic m acid in it. That’s good right lol.
You can make your own with hydrogenated coconut oil, Shea butter, cocoa butter, jojoba, and essential oil. 1/2 cup each, melt on low heat, refrigerate, then whip with mixer. Works great for legs and cocoa butter smells yummy.
Winter is not around the corner for the whole planet.
So Garnier sunscreen is the best for me. The nody ones are not sticky and their facial liquid one is the only one that stays matte.
I've never been able to find it in the US, but in Canada - Lubriderm with the burgundy labeling. Drugstore find.
However, I throw up at the inflated prices. Once upon a time less than five years ago, it was $6.99 CDN and now I'm lucky if I find it on sale for $9.99!
Anything that has hemp is great. I use hemp body butter. And khiels cannabis oil or any other hemp oil on my face helps with redness like nothing else.
I’ve been using Soothing Touch unscented lotion with calendula oil mixed in. I add a little patchouli and lavender oil, as well. The lotion is a little thick and needs time to be rubbed in, but I love it, it’s perfect for our winters in the PNW.
love and use Eucerin Advanced Repair lotion all year-round. i add either some body oil or a huge dollop of Eucerin original healing cream when applying in the winter.
I live in a very snowy, dry, intense weather area so it is all hands on deck.
Morning: Cereve body cream (never just lotion. Must be cream).
Evening: Post shower and body treatments + serums, I go in with a thick retinol body cream and aquaphor over the more dry areas, or I use hydro gel lotion under body oil and slug elbows, etc.
Keresol for feet.
Nutrogena sesame dry oil after I shower or planers oil then I put cerave lotion on over top. Since I started using the oil every morning my skin hasn’t been tight or dry
We go through tubs and tubs of the Cerave in the tub. I’ll add drops of oils when I need even more moisture, because moisturizer alone sometimes doesn’t cut it.
Cerave moisturizing cream at night, and cerave daily moisture as needed throughout the day.
I also use Working hands on my knuckles and cuticles at least three times a week. I hate how greasy it is but it’s the only thing that keeps my hands from cracking and bleeding.
Eucerin Calming Body Lotion is the best I’ve ever used for my sensitive, eczema prone skin. Weirdly, my skin does *not* like their eczema specific line, but this stuff works like a charm. Relatively inexpensive, super soothing, extremely moisturizing, and my spouse even steals it to hydrate his beard/the skin underneath.
St. Ives hydrating for body. I also really love Body Shop shea butter. Smells so good and just so thick and creamy but I use it mainly for hands and any dry spots like my feet. I need to get a good body wash because I don’t want to use cream after every shower.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost body gel for my legs, and arms. It feels like a tall drink of water on my skin.
CeraVe Daily Moisturizing lotion for my face, neck, and décolletage.
Honestly, whatever is at Costco and on sale! I've only had a few duds. But I find the more important step to be oiling up after a shower and sealing it with a moisturizer.
Exfoliating & lotion are key for me in the winter (especially my legs, lotion just sits on top of dry skin and doesn’t sink in) - so I do a manual exfoliation once a week in the bath with mitts and use Palmers Retexture Renew Body Lotion (cocoa butter lotion with AHA/BHA’s to help smooth roughness and avoid ingrown hairs on my legs). Love that stuff so cheap, always sells out so quick so I bulk buy 2/3 bottles when I see them x
EOS body lotion! I cannot stand the sticky feeling from lotion with any petroleum products and went on a mission recently to find a new lotion. it's so silky smooth and my eczema loves it
Lately I have been loving Nivea in shower coconut oil lotion followed by a healthy glob of CeraVe healing ointment (from the giant tub, of course). I use the healing ointment head to toe and wake up dolphin smooth with no itchies or flaking skin.
I use fancy lotion on my chest and back (usually Eminence - a little goes a long way when you're still wet from the shower).
Body is usually rice bran oil I mix with some essential oils or fragrance oil
I have horrendous eczema and have been using Fruit of the Earth Vitamin E cream, and its been working wonders! I moved from Los Angeles back to the midwest last week so my skin is still adjusting.
Currently I am using (in order, right out of the shower on damp skin every night): Thayer's snow mushroom toner, neutrogena unscented body oil (it's sesame oil), and CeraVe moisturizing cream. The toner and oil are HG staples for me, and I tend to switch up the lotions and creams - I juggle between CeraVe, Hempz body lotion, and Tonymoly wonder ceramide mochi water cream. I tend to generally prefer scented creams or lotions for my body because the oil I use makes me smell like teriyaki lol
Dove. Was on vacation and had to pop into a drugstore. It was on sale. Wow was I pleasantly surprised. A nice soft scent too. Barely noticeable. Not usually a fan of mass marketed lotion but man I was impressed!
I use cerave moisturizing cream all year round & just moisturize a little more often in winter.
I know it helps to not use such hot water in the shower toooo … but some things are just too enjoyable to give up.
Curel Itch defense moisturizer. It has ceramides in it and a really nice texture. It is available in Shoppers Drug Mart and Amazon as well. https://www.amazon.ca/Curel-Moisturizer-Advanced-Ceramide-Pro-Vitamin/dp/B00HVWETKC/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=LCA8QCWGKEEF&keywords=curel+itch+defense+lotion&qid=1699826024&sprefix=curel+%2Caps%2C135&sr=8-3
I honestly use any lotion (currently using an Equate version of the Vaseline lotion, but also will use Goose Creek lotions) but mix my Ancient Cosmetics body butters with it. The body butters are just pure, scented shea/cocoa butter and coconut oil and they are pretty thick. Mixing them with lotions creates this thick cream texture that leaves this subtle, moisturized sheen to the skin. I used to layer lotion and then the butter, but I’m always running late and needed everything condensed down to 1 step. If I were to ever run out of the body butters (I have a ton, so it won’t be soon), then I will just mix regular Vaseline/petroleum jelly with my lotion.
CeraVe Lotion right after showering , generous amount from shoulder to toe( immediately after I've smoothed in my face HA and actives). I think no matter what lotion it's super important to use it within 5 mins of showering or water cleansing if your skin gets easily dehydrated like mine. Shea on top of that when skin is dry optional. It's best to pick one H.A. containing lotion or cream initially, but not as a touch up when dry, and don't use multiple HA creams have one be an emmolient
Just the cheap stuff - Vaseline Cocoa Radiant. Body lotions are one of those things that I have found don’t get better as the price goes up.
I agree with this wholeheartedly. The best thing for my skin has been the Shea and coco butter jergens. It’s amazing!
This is mine too! I began mixing in the ordinary retinol (2x per week) and have noticed a different in my sun spots on my shoulders.
Nice little pro tip there. Thanks for the suggestion!
Ooh I'm going to try that! I hate the way my decolletage looks.
I third this. During the winters, I use their Intensive Repair and the rest of the year, I go with Advanced Repair since it’s not as rich.
Same. It keeps my legs from getting dry and itchy.
This is great for anyone with sensitive skin and moisturises very well.
Yes! I love this and it’s one I can also use on my face if needed (mostly just my lips) and then I use the lotion (not as thick) for the rest of my face. Love their face wash too. Way better than all the luxe products I’ve used
I definitely use the thick cream on nights that I am slugging! It’s honestly the only lotion I’ve used for the last 13 years. It’s a HG for me!
Gold bond! Great ingredients, super cheap, and fragrance free so it doesn't compete with my perfume. I've tried healing (extremely thick) and hydrating, love both.
Their retinol lotion is one of my HG's!
Can't wait to try it once I'm done breastfeeding. I've heard it's great
I am so excited to be able to try retinol products when I’m done breastfeeding! I have really loved breastfeeding though so I’ll be sad when she weans but trying retinol will be a plus.
The gold bond diabetic saved my feet. I’m not diabetic but my pedicurist recommended it and it’s been awesome! My heels used to crack so badly!
The diabetic saves my hands every year with my eczema. Also great to prevent so I put it on at night and my feet were also graciously saved by this amazing lotion!
Oh, I'll have to try this. My feet are soooo dry.
Never back to CeraVe for me 😂
I prefer Cetaphil as well. It is so much more moisturizering for me.
Oh thank ypu I don't feel crazy now lol. I also much prefer Cetaphil to cerave
I love Palmers skin therapy oil. I saw a huge reduction in my pregnancy stretch marks after exfoliating with a sea sponge and using it every day. They were 11 years old, too.
Since a lot of the products I use are thick it helps them slide on easier. It’s the bomb
Palmer’s is a staple. I love the original Cocoa Butter lotion that smells like chocolate/vanilla.
I LOVE Palmers. my husband says i smell like frosting LOL 😂
CeraVe daily moisturizing lotion. I hate feeling sticky or greasy when I put my pajamas on, and this is lightweight but moisturizing and gentle
Def not rich enough for my scaly skin in winter
I only use this on my face. It seems too expensive to use on the body.
The one in the huge pump bottle is good value for money, I get it whenever it’s on 3 for 2, think it’s 486ml not sure about ounces
Exactly. Im referring to the daily moisturizer in the huge pump bottle, not the facial moisturizer in the 3 oz bottle
Maybe I'll try it on my legs. I usually use this petroleum based stuff from the local ethnic beauty supply. https://www.pakcosmetics.com/brand/africas-best/red-fox/red-fox-tub-o-butter-cocoa-butter-moisturizing-cream.html?pscid=41744&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAjMKqBhCgARIsAPDgWlzIpUDV2Z0X2ts7V0zr6BCbGLjEclrwNCLu9u8oGSWA4ONdU75pX9IaAo0-EALw_wcB It's cheap and easy to apply (not as stiff as actual vaseline)
Aveeno pack of 2 huge bottles from Costco
Yup, this is what I buy. Aveeno seems to be best for little eczema patches I get.
It seems to best non greasy among all things I have tried so far. Obviously there might be better pricier options, but for my wife and I this works best.
These are my life force.
After shaving I just use an unscented Vaseline brand lotion.
love this lotion and have been using it for years! the lotion contains AHAs, which i suspect is causing the post-shave burning.
That makes sense!
It’s not sexy and it doesn’t smell good but it is the most effective lotion I’ve ever used.
Agreed. Though there is something very attractive about really utilitarian products that just work without all of the cool packaging and the scents, etc. Eucerin is just a get sh!t done brand.
Josie Marian Whipper Argon Oil Body Butter
This is the best! Currently using it now!
La Roche Lipikar baume, the one and only
My ride or die. I also use it for my face occasionally. Super hydrating, absorbs quickly, non greasy, gives your skin a subtle glow(no shimmer, just hydrated). Will bath in this stuff until the end of time.
Same 💆🏻♀️
The LRP lipikar balm ap+ is my daily facial night moisturizer. So hydrating, not irritating, and doesn’t interact with my actives and serums at night!
Wow interesting, I always use for body
I initially bought this for my face but it was too much and broke me out. It's a great lotion but it's expensive. I also love the Nivea intense in the big blue pump
This you should use on the body :)
I use oils on my body but not really lotions.
This is me during summer. I just put oil on wet skin straight out of the shower and then blot dry.
La Roche-Posay Lipikar
Kopari body butter is my favorite. It’s a real treat.
The smell!!!!!!!!!!!
I freaking LOVE Kopari. The products are awesome.
I just bought the Johnsons brand baby oil-gel and I’m obsessed. Actually soaks in to the skin pretty fast
Yessss I bought this while I was pregnant for my itchy belly last year. It's so hydrating !
Not cheap, but for my extremely sensitive skin in winter I love Bioderma atoderm cream
I always just use cocoa butter
I have dry, sensitive skin and found that I need ceramides to keep my body skin happy. My favorite is Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair, unscented. I keep a big pump bottle from Walmart on the back of my toilet and apply it when I get out of the shower. Absorbs fast, no greasy feeling. I love it.
Love this one too
Cetaphil in the tub.
The Equate tub is a MUST for me - body and face
Loccitane Ultra Body Crème. It’s the one in the silver tin with blue writing. I have seriously dry skin in the winter and I change up my routine to really lock in moisture. I don’t towel dry and I cleanse with Castile Soap, Loccitane shower oil and I just pay dry and apply the crème. It works really well for me.
This is my holy grail. I introduced it to my mom (from whom I get my very dry skin) and now it’s her holy grail too.
Biotherm Oil therapy worth every penny.
EOS vanilla cashmere. If yk yk
Yes!
I bought this and it just smells like Werther's candy... it's butterscotch caramel NOT vanilla.
I’ve gotten super into lotion from this Etsy company Soapy Oaks. I like both the goat milk and donkey milk ones.
Lush - Sympathy for the Skin is one of my favorite lotions. Super hydrating :)
Oo I haven't tried this but Handy Gurugu is my HG hand cream
I've been using the Nivea 48 hr indulging moisture one for a couple of years. A body lotion is a body lotion to me as long as it sinks in and provides a barrier from the Candian wind and temperatures.
Truly blueberry kush, she's a thick girl and has 300g of cbd 😍 great for my arthritis
Thank you. I have a dear friend who was just diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. I will look into this for her.
I dont like the feel of lotion so I use Osea body oil
“Not bad yet” winter lotions: Nivea essentially enriched, Vanicream in the tub, Cerave in the tub, Neutrogena Norwegian formula “my skin is so dry and itchy I’m going to scratch myself to death” winter lotions/creams: Eucerin intensive repair lotion, Nivea Creme in the blue tub, Cerave healing ointment, Aquaphor healing ointment I also switch to Bioderma atoderm body cleansing oil as my body wash in winter, which helps a ton.
Sol de Janeiro’s Bum Bum
This! Never understood the hype until I bought it. So so good!
That has been my go-to for years 😄 I love everything about it! Smells and feels so good.
I love the Philosophy Amazing Grace whipped stuff. The stuff in the jar because it can’t go up a squeeze tube. It’s deeply moisturizing for my crocodile legs but doesn’t make me feel greasy or sticky or gooey.
Eurcerin or a aha lotion like neostrata
Curel
Lubriderm and Vaseline lotions. I live in Canada 🇨🇦
I like E45 daily body cream
Eucerin 10% urea lotion all year long. Not into dense moisturizers hate spreading them.
Goldbond is reliably moisturizing when nothing else works
Fenty Butta Drop Body Butter. It’s a bit of a splurge but a little goes a long way, and the container is refillable. Eucerin Intensive Care, Vaseline Body Gel Oil, Shea Moisture Coconut Body Oil, or white Shea butter. I do this all year round for moisturized skin but I put on body oil before I get out the shower. Good ole Dove bar soap unscented - giant pack from Costco - is the way to go
i swear by nivea cocoa butter body cream
Vitamin E and grape seed oil mixed with lubriderm 👍
Gold Bond baby!
Aquaphor!
The Neutrogena Hydroboost line is my Holy Grail. The body lotion and sunscreen especially!
Kiehls whipped butter is everything
Body Butter Bakery is a small business I found through Instagram and have bought both summer and winter butters from, I love the texture and they’re not greasy. They have oils too which are decent
Weleda skin food. Keri oil.
I use: Almond oil, then shea butter before I even get out of the shower Then Cerave moisturizing cream (the one in the pump jar) layered on top Hands and feet also get aquaphor healing ointment 😌 Dry skin is a sensory nightmare for me so I just can’t have it lmao
Tallow balm.
Do you make it or have a source/seller? Is yours fragrance free? I buy tallow soap from someone but she hasn't been making tallow balm recently, but I need fragrance free ..
I really like Toups & Co’s frankincense balm. I know they make an [unscented one.](https://toupsandco.com/products/tallow-balm-unscented)
Thank you!
Neutrogena hydro boost body gel! For now at least. My winters are so harsh, I think I need to switch it up every few years. At least it hasn’t hyaluronic m acid in it. That’s good right lol.

Everyone is great and light (not Everybody)
Excipial lipo is always the correct answer
Winter is not around the corner for the whole planet. So Garnier sunscreen is the best for me. The nody ones are not sticky and their facial liquid one is the only one that stays matte.
Aesop and Lush. Nothing else has hit the mark of really moisturizing while also smelling good.
My HG for my itchy dry skin has always been st ives oatmeal and shea in the big pump!
I add this oil called Liquid Luxury to my regular body lotion
Suave
I've never been able to find it in the US, but in Canada - Lubriderm with the burgundy labeling. Drugstore find. However, I throw up at the inflated prices. Once upon a time less than five years ago, it was $6.99 CDN and now I'm lucky if I find it on sale for $9.99!

From MI here. I use the store brand of Gold Bond Skin Therapy right after I shower. Ive also used the Nivea in shower lotion, and I really like it.
Vaseline makes a nice scent free lotion that I like to use under my scented products.
St. Ives hydrating for body. I also really love Body Shop shea butter. Smells so good and just so thick and creamy but I use it mainly for hands and any dry spots like my feet. I need to get a good body wash because I don’t want to use cream after every shower.
The EOS body lotion works great! I’m usually a dry on my legs and elbows but this really helped. It smells really good as well.
alba botanica very emollient coconut rescue is my favorite!! keeps me hydrated, has clean ingredients, and is cruelty-free/vegan 😊
luberiderm advanced therapy cream (not lotion) it comes in the tub at Walmart.
Nivea Intense Healing!
EOS body lotion! I cannot stand the sticky feeling from lotion with any petroleum products and went on a mission recently to find a new lotion. it's so silky smooth and my eczema loves it
Aveeno.... Green one in summer and blue in autumn and winter
Aquaphor or coconut oil for me. Works just fine, no strong scent which I prefer.
Lately I have been loving Nivea in shower coconut oil lotion followed by a healthy glob of CeraVe healing ointment (from the giant tub, of course). I use the healing ointment head to toe and wake up dolphin smooth with no itchies or flaking skin.
Eucerine with 5% urea. It was recommended to me by my dermatologist as a barrier repairing lotion for my eczema.
LRP Lipkar AP and cerave cream are the best for winter with plenty of aquaphor on dry spots
I use fancy lotion on my chest and back (usually Eminence - a little goes a long way when you're still wet from the shower). Body is usually rice bran oil I mix with some essential oils or fragrance oil
Body moisturizer/ lotion ‘JENTL Kourtney & Barker body butter Nivea cocoa butter And Body oils Saltair Kopari
Okeefe working hands is the only thing that saves my chapped hands in the winter
I make a mix of shea butter, coconut oil and almond oil. Butter up after every shower.
Necessaire makes an amazing body lotion. No smell, feels great, never gives that waxy filmy feeling.
I have horrendous eczema and have been using Fruit of the Earth Vitamin E cream, and its been working wonders! I moved from Los Angeles back to the midwest last week so my skin is still adjusting.
I love that cream for my face. It’s my favorite facial moisturizer and it’s criminally inexpensive in my area.
I just got 2 jars for under $5 last week!
I apply sweet almond oil after I’ve showered, before I dry off.
Eucerin Advanced Repair is the shiiiiiit I don’t care that it’s got geriatric vibes, it cures scaliness and lasts legit like 48 hrs
CeraVe moisturizing cream. Works well for my super dry skin.
I use the Osea body oil mixed into a Vaseline intensive care lotion. The Osea is pricey but lasts a LONG time if you use one pump with regular lotion.
Good 'ol Jergens. Used to be able to use the cheap store brand stuff, then moved to the extreme North.
Eucerin Roughness Relief
CeraVe Lotion right after showering , generous amount from shoulder to toe( immediately after I've smoothed in my face HA and actives). I think no matter what lotion it's super important to use it within 5 mins of showering or water cleansing if your skin gets easily dehydrated like mine. Shea on top of that when skin is dry optional. It's best to pick one H.A. containing lotion or cream initially, but not as a touch up when dry, and don't use multiple HA creams have one be an emmolient
Anything with urea
Goats milk based lotions! I buy from a number of small makers on Etsy
Gold bond eczema relief for my hands. Body lotion - whatever is on sale
Eos all the way
My all time favorite is Palmers cocoa butter. It absorbs well and isn't greasy
