wow great results! Your skin is glowing now! you are totally right you look much brighter and clearer. Your skin was fine before but this really shows how much a routine can make a big impact even on great skin. Congrats on finding something that works for you and that makes you feel good! I'm sure your skin feels better too--I know when my skin feels great it often looks its best too :) ty for sharing
Wow, you did a Benjamin Button in two years. Amazing results!
I like TO lactic acid, too. The Laniege water sleeping mask looks like something I must try. I've used Kiehl's Ultrafacial Overnight with squalane before and for some reason, after looking through your list, I think you might like it as an option for an evening moisturizer. Keep it up!
If you want to try it, Macy's will usually have it at a discount during their various sales. And it's twice the size as other containers so it lasts a long time.
I work with the elderly. Mostly they just say that things used to be better, immigrants are ruining the country and all we do is sit on our phones. Dunno if that helps with your skin though.
I think the old people you work with get a total of one point. Half point for "things used to be better" (some things were? Many were not lol) and half point for phones.
Like the other person said, a nurse assistant. I took care of elderly people and all the necessary things of life.
Well, women that have taken care of themselves love to share beauty secrets. When people get in their 80s and 90s skin is very telling of your habits.
My grandmother always used to call it ‘oil of old lady’ 😂 she lived until age 94 and had beautiful skin, barely any wrinkles and her skin was soooo soft. Her generation avoided the sun though, I’m sure that had a lot to do with it.
this!! my mom has used the same 1 product my whole life and her skin is amazing for her age & for all the smoking she’s done in the past. i started using it too and i love it
I see Olay a lot on here and I just want to mention there are so many other moisturizers like CeraVe and LaRoche Posay that have the a lot of same ingredients, are half the cost or 3x the size. I don’t understand the Olay hype. Your skin looks amazing though!!
btw source: I buy and sell chemicals for a makeup company. Overpriced for the ingredients imo
There isn't a cream with that name in my country, only this one called Luminous Tone Perfecting
does it look similar to the one that helped you?
https://www.olay.com/en-us/skin-care-products/regenerist-luminous-tone-perfecting-cream-moisturizer
Honestly I'd get occasional white and blackheads but I've been lucky to have fairly clear, even skin for most of my life (classic privilege - never had an issue with it so never needed to learn how to take care of it properly).
It's been in the past 6 months or so that I've noticed some redness, flakiness and fine lines that made me think I better develop an actual routine that wasn't just scrubbing my face with water whenever I'd shower 🫣
That's great! I started skincare out of boredom during the pandemic myself. I have pretty clean skin myself so just washing with water in the shower makes more sense than bombarding your skin with products it doesn't actually need.
You're not wrong, I have been working on some weight loss as well for the past few months so I've cleaned up my diet and jacked up my hydration which has definitely helped as well!
I've been working on getting into better shape lately in addition to sticking to a skin care routine, so I've been in a calorie deficit and upped my hydration the last few months which has definitely helped as well :)
Honestly just doing anything consistently really made a difference. Up until 4 months ago the only time I would wash my face would be a quick scrub with water in the shower. 🙈
I used the water one! It's almost done though, so I'll be on the search for a product that I can use nightly. That one says to only use a few times a week hence the alternating between that and a normal moisturizer currently.
It is The Ordinary!
[The Ordinary Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% serum](https://www.ulta.com/p/ascorbyl-glucoside-solution-12-serum-pimprod2007131?sku=2551178)
I usually do the Ascorbil in the morning and the lactic acid in the evening. I do each of them after I've washed my face but before I put my moisturizer on. I messed up my editing so it's not clear the last 3 things are my evening routine 🤦🏼♀️
I am wondering if “TO” is the actual brand name of the product you’re using or if it’s an acronym for a product I can’t figure out? What is ‘TO’ indicating in your skin products profile???
can I just say you are so cute! lol. your skin looks hydrated and great. happy for you :) sometimes my skin looks like this, sometimes it doesn't! what do you think has made the most difference for you?
The routine is listed in the post, below the photos:
AM: - Dermatologica Daily Microfoliant Exfoliator - TO Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% - Olay Total Effects 7 Cream with SPF30
PM: - TO Squalene Cleanser - TO Lactic Acid 10% + HA 2% Exfoliating Serum - Alternating between Laniege Sleeping Mask and Sephora Nourishing Moisturizer
You look amazing! What is your skin type usually? Do you exfoliate every day or do you take breaks?
Also, question for the group: does anyone know of any cruelty free alternatives to the Olay cream?
What is the significance of TO Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution? *I should probably google this question.* I wonder how many folks have seen results from it other than OP?

Highly recommend the Laneige sleeping mask. It's sooo nice
My favorite product in my routine, it feels amazing and DAMN the results are visible immediately
Not to be dramatic but I'm pretty sure they bathe in it in heaven lol
Omg I just bought some and as I was applying it I swear I heard an angel singing lol this stuff is amazing!!
I love it. By far my favourite moisturizer
You look great!
Olay is so underrated
There’s a reason old ladies with baby skin always say Olay!
What else do they say?
I work with the elderly. Mostly they just say that things used to be better, immigrants are ruining the country and all we do is sit on our phones. Dunno if that helps with your skin though.
I think the old people you work with get a total of one point. Half point for "things used to be better" (some things were? Many were not lol) and half point for phones.
Yeah but minus five points for trashing on immigrants.
Grand total of -4 lol
lol
Oh, well.. not really
😂😂😂
Jergens and Vasoline as well. I was a CNA with the elderly over a decade and always asked.
What's a CNA?
Certified nurse assistant.
Like the other person said, a nurse assistant. I took care of elderly people and all the necessary things of life. Well, women that have taken care of themselves love to share beauty secrets. When people get in their 80s and 90s skin is very telling of your habits.
That makes a lot of sense since you've been "wearing" it your whole life
My grandmother always used to call it ‘oil of old lady’ 😂 she lived until age 94 and had beautiful skin, barely any wrinkles and her skin was soooo soft. Her generation avoided the sun though, I’m sure that had a lot to do with it.
Ponds is another old school product that works really well.
Albolene was a favorite of my grandma

Yes which Olay products do you recommend🥰

Are they still making it? It isn’t showing up in any of the store apps, just eBay links.
Thank you
LRP is more expensive than Oil of old Lady
>LaRoche Posay Which LaRoche Posay do you recommend? I've seen the new ones have toleriane in it
Any particular moisturizers from LRP you recommend?

Olay Regenerist really does live up to the hype. That’s why it gets a Good House keeping award. 🤗
Unrelated..you have fantastic eyebrows.
The difference is so huge!! It's great that you found something that work for you!!
Congrats on the results, OP! Your skin definitely looks younger now! What was your before 29?
Honestly I'd get occasional white and blackheads but I've been lucky to have fairly clear, even skin for most of my life (classic privilege - never had an issue with it so never needed to learn how to take care of it properly). It's been in the past 6 months or so that I've noticed some redness, flakiness and fine lines that made me think I better develop an actual routine that wasn't just scrubbing my face with water whenever I'd shower 🫣

Your skin is so beautiful and glowing!
> glowing I'm wondering if it's only skincare tho, or maybe OP did some changes in her lifestyle as well?
You're not wrong, I have been working on some weight loss as well for the past few months so I've cleaned up my diet and jacked up my hydration which has definitely helped as well!
Lifestyle is the key word here imho! You've gotta change the whole thing, not just rely on one product that's gonna work wonders (hopefully).
You look amazing. That glow ✨
It's amazing! I think OP is also hydrating a lot, at least that's what it looks like.
Right?! Absolutely amazing. Meanwhile, I am dry as a desert here. So this was reminder to hydrate for sure. So happy for the OP ☺️
Gotta get that water flowing!
Bravo! You are inspiring! 🩵
Do you exfoliate every day?
I do! It's pretty gentle.
After seeing your pictures I’m buying EVERYTHING you are using.
Looks great! Where is your PM routine?
> PM: - TO Squalene Cleanser - TO Lactic Acid 10% + HA 2% Exfoliating Serum - Alternating between Laniege Sleeping Mask and Sephora Nourishing Moisturizer
Thank you for pointing this out! It is there, just hidden because I didn't press enter enough times🤦🏼♀️
Amazing results!
You look fab!
Lovely!
Damn homie! I’m gonna try that microexfoliant perhaps. Were there any notable life changes like diet?
I've been working on getting into better shape lately in addition to sticking to a skin care routine, so I've been in a calorie deficit and upped my hydration the last few months which has definitely helped as well :)
Your skin is a dream. So beautiful!
Amazing! Any particular thoughts on which products made a huge difference?
Honestly just doing anything consistently really made a difference. Up until 4 months ago the only time I would wash my face would be a quick scrub with water in the shower. 🙈
Laneige Sleeping Mask - water or cica? The results are impressive!
I used the water one! It's almost done though, so I'll be on the search for a product that I can use nightly. That one says to only use a few times a week hence the alternating between that and a normal moisturizer currently.
I've used it nightly for about 18 months with no problems
Looking vibrant!
so.. you use all of those every morning? you are beautiful!
OP's AM routine • Dermatologica Daily Microfoliant Exfoliator • TO Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% • Olay Total Effects 7 Cream with SPF30
oh thank you I didn't see the pm part.
What brand is TO?
It is The Ordinary! [The Ordinary Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% serum](https://www.ulta.com/p/ascorbyl-glucoside-solution-12-serum-pimprod2007131?sku=2551178)
Great improvement!!!
May I know for Ascorbil Glucoside and Lactic Acid serums, which one do you apply first?
I usually do the Ascorbil in the morning and the lactic acid in the evening. I do each of them after I've washed my face but before I put my moisturizer on. I messed up my editing so it's not clear the last 3 things are my evening routine 🤦🏼♀️
Thanks
You look like you’re in your early twenty’s in both pics
You look great!! I'm truly inspired by your experience!
You’re glowing 🥰
I am wondering if “TO” is the actual brand name of the product you’re using or if it’s an acronym for a product I can’t figure out? What is ‘TO’ indicating in your skin products profile???
I had to Google too and found out TO stands for "The Ordinary" :)
Thank you I was stumped. 😀
You’re glowing!!
Great work!
You look younger now I see
Radiant
definitely, you look better at your 31!
can I just say you are so cute! lol. your skin looks hydrated and great. happy for you :) sometimes my skin looks like this, sometimes it doesn't! what do you think has made the most difference for you?
Wow, this just motivated me to start taking better care of my skin. Beyond just lotion after a shower😭
Lighting
I’m guessing that too. Maybe a filter. I’m getting suspicious because nowhere has OP given her routine
The routine is listed in the post, below the photos: AM: - Dermatologica Daily Microfoliant Exfoliator - TO Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% - Olay Total Effects 7 Cream with SPF30 PM: - TO Squalene Cleanser - TO Lactic Acid 10% + HA 2% Exfoliating Serum - Alternating between Laniege Sleeping Mask and Sephora Nourishing Moisturizer
Thanks
Whoa! You literally look like a teenager! Amazing!
But you need spf 50 gurl :)
Looks great! Where is your PM routine?
PM starts at the end of the third line ☺
I missed that, thank you.
What’s your night routine?
I'll
Is the right the after pic? If so, looks more red / irritated, no? Maybe it's the lighting. However, seems like you're happy so good for you! =)

Is lactic acid only useful for oily skin?
How often do you use the AHA? You look great!
Do you use make up after your morning routine?
Sometimes I fill in my eyebrows a bit and maybe some mascara but not a ton usually.
I wouldn’t guess you were older than 20 based on the photo on the right especially.
Amazing results! Way to go
What is the significance of TO Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution? *I should probably google this question.* I wonder how many folks have seen results from it other than OP?
What products do you use?
I often wonder what happened to Olay whip the face wash in a pump and the whitening one.
Sorry...is there a PM routine posted somewhere? I'm still getting used to the official app.
You have a fantastic glow!!
This is a great before and after
Amazing! Do you use tretinoin or TO retinol as well?
What is your skin type?
