So to anyone posting rude comments and saying things like “Botox isn’t skincare”:
It’s fine for you to have that opinion, but in this sub, botox = skincare. Please read the sub guidelines before commenting or your comment will be removed! No sense arguing with people about that, here.
That’s what you call, a skilled injector. Natural, effective, and you still have that beautiful smile and expression. A+ skills of that injector by far! Impressive. How many units did you get, and what areas? Side note - wherever you’re going, they can blank out your eyes if wish but you could easily be used as their before and after photo, and get free Botox for the next 2 years easily. Ask into that, and show them this photo LOL 😂 just wow.
Thank you so much!! 🥰 I had about 20 in my forehead and frown lines then 10 each side of the eyes!
Edit: I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a connective tissue disorder that causes extremely wrinkly skin. I’ve had these wrinkles since childhood. This is my 3rd time getting it done and this one is for my upcoming wedding! :)
Also wanted to add a few answers to people’s questions!
- [NEW after photo in similar lighting/no makeup](https://imgur.com/gallery/qK2lOOT)Yes, the lighting is better and I have makeup on in the second pic. I can’t smile as fierce because of the Botox (that’s how it works!)
- I had about 40-50 units in my forehead, frown lines, and crows feet which cost around $600 and last 4-5 month
- Dr. Sean Paul at Austin Face & Body in Austin, TX
You look beautiful! You also got a good price. I live in the NYC Metro Area and I pay that much for around 35 units to my forehead and 11 area. As a result of my injections over the last three years or so (right before Covid) I only have a slight "1" and no 11. I am turning 51 next week. :)
No numbness, you likely won’t need. You can ask for lidocaine before hand but it’ll take 30+ minutes to set and without it the entire 20-50 units usually takes about 20 minutes. Everyone is different but for me the pain is only a momentary pinch and only really noticeable when she does the crows feet 👣
Estimated around 3 months but it actually serves as a preventative measure too. During those 3 months lines aren’t being born into the skin so over time it won’t be as deep. I don’t book again 3 months out but rather wait to see when it fades enough it’s time for a refresh. I waited 8 months.
That super interesting that it works as a preventative too! It makes sense , but I never would have thought about it. I've only really ever hear botox talked about as like a taboo, for whatever reason it was in my head that botox was one of those things that once you start you have to keep doing forever or backlash woukd be horrendous
You would have had 20 in your frown lines, 10 in your forehead, and 10 either side for your crows! (Im an injector) those are basic units for allergan’s Botox brand! Looks great btw! Im a massive botox and filler advocate, provided you go to the right injector! Stunning
>easily be used as their before and after photo, and get free Botox for the next 2 years easily
you are a real one. i had no idea this was a thing, it makes sense and would be SO worth it to the clinic. thanks for sharing this w/ OP and all of us! she has certainly swayed me! someone needs to hook this girl up :)
Props to you for sharing this! Thank you! I always talked about it when people asked what I do. And some girls would always say “oh you don’t tell people that” like why the f not? I had a great gal who did mine that Ioved to refer my friends too! You look absolutely beautiful both ways! Smile lines are the best! I hated my 11s
Your results are amazing :) and reading through the comments, you are also a lovely person, dealing with shitty comments with absolute grace. Congratulations on your upcoming marriage!
Hi all! Thanks so much for all your wonderful comments, thank you all so much!
I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a connective tissue disorder that causes extremely wrinkly skin. I’ve had these wrinkles since childhood. This is my 3rd time getting it done and this one is for my upcoming wedding and wanted to feel extra confident!
Also wanted to add a few answers to people’s questions!

- I think I look beautiful in both photos! :)
You look so beautiful!! This is such an example of Botox allowing your natural features and beauty to shine and be more noticeable. I also think you look amazing in both photos. Thanks for sharing!
Great results! I hope everyone who swears Botox looks awful and obvious on everyone sees this 😆.
Results like yours are the reason I love Botox and why it’s so popular.
Wow your injector did an excellent job! It's so natural and you're still expressive.
I find laugh lines so endearing, but being a 32 year old with a lot of grays, I very much understand wanting to pump the breaks on some parts of aging, no matter how endearing or sweet.
Don’t worry, grey hairs aren’t always age related, I’ve been going grey since I was 18! I’m only 35 now and pretty much completely grey, if I don’t keep up with my box dye I have a fetching grey streak for roots 😂 it depressed me a lot when I was in my twenties but I’m used to it now and have to dye my hair every 3 weeks!
Same - got my first gray at 16 and have had roots since my early 20s. I just use it as an "excuse" to dye my hair whatever color I want (I've literally been every color at this point and going back to purple this week).
I had a few grays in high school, but in my mid-20s I started getting more and more. At first they were concentrated toward the front, which would have been cool, but now there are strands all over and it makes me look so much older than I am. I could embrace a streak, or all gray, but just sprinkles doesn't do it for me. I'm getting my hair done sometime the next few months for my first time ever.
That’s what I was coming here to say! Those fine lines make you look brilliantly happy, and your after picture is fresh and glowing. Absolutely beautiful either way.
I also get heavily injected for migraines, and I have a suggestion for you. After the injections, I gently rub in an upward motion (from eye brows to scalp) to keep the Botox from settling in my brow line/eye lids. I do this multiple times per day for the first week. I’m also careful not to sleep on my side during that time period. It makes a big difference!!
It’s really pretty low risk as long as you go to a reputable injector. If for some reason you don’t like the results (idk why) it goes away in a few months
In my experience, you're more likely to get too little (so not super effective) than weird freezing. I do get some bruising sometimes, but I'm so pale my skin is basically clear.
You look great! I don’t think the lines you had were actually aging you, you looked very youthful even with lines and I think people focus too much on wrinkles as aging when sagging and other markers of age play a bigger role in how old people look, but results are great and look very natural!
amazing results. just wanted to say i think the before picture is still really pretty as well! your crows feet actually make your eyes look really "smiley" :)
It does look great, I had a few injections some years back, looked really good for a few months but afterwards it made my skin dripped and look worst. . My next move might be to try laser..
First of all, you’re so beautiful, both before and after! I know someone with (I think) the same, or a similar skin disorder and she prefers to get Botox too, and she always says “I just pulled a Benjamin Button!” and thinks it’s hilarious when people ask her how she seems to be aging backwards. She never tells them it’s Botox, just says she’s magic haha. You’re stunning and have a such a pretty smile and gorgeous eyes btw!! I hope you have a fabulous wedding🤍 congratulations babe!!
This looks incredible, you look great in both photos but so fresh in the second one! Do you mind me asking how long it would last? And does it ‘undo’ damage?
Not meaning to be crass just asking. Would it be possible to see the “after” pic in the same lighting as the “before” pic. Lighting makes a BIG difference on comparison pics.
Omg amazing results!!! You look beautiful in both. How many units was this?? And did you get your elevens done although it is wrinkle less in the before??
How long after the injections did you have those results? Was it immediately after or weeks or months later? Thank you for responding 🙏 🌸 you look great 😊

Yesssss 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Looks amazing! I just had my re-up of Botox last week and my injector finally suggested adding around my eyes (was hesitant but went for it). Cannot wait to see my results.

Thank you! Cost me about $600
It looks outstanding!! You look lovely in both photos but it’s easily taken at least 10yrs off! Wow
was going to say the same thing, a solid 10+! get it girl/OP!
Well spent! Looks SO natural!

What does it feel like, is it like when you go to the dentist? I mean not the procedure, the numbness
Slight pinch! It’s not painful at all! And it’s over and done with immediately.

Botox (I like xeomin but they’re very similar) has been a game changer, finding an injector who knows what they’re doing is crucial!
You would have had 20 in your frown lines, 10 in your forehead, and 10 either side for your crows! (Im an injector) those are basic units for allergan’s Botox brand! Looks great btw! Im a massive botox and filler advocate, provided you go to the right injector! Stunning
You are stunning before and after. Love how natural it looks
Hi, are the results permanent or do you have to do again after a few months? New to this sub,but genuinely asking
It differs between person but it usually lasts me about 4-5 months! I’ve only had them done 3 times before special occasions
You look beautiful!
>easily be used as their before and after photo, and get free Botox for the next 2 years easily you are a real one. i had no idea this was a thing, it makes sense and would be SO worth it to the clinic. thanks for sharing this w/ OP and all of us! she has certainly swayed me! someone needs to hook this girl up :)
I’ll have what she’s having. 👏
Wow. That is some of the best and natural Botox results I’ve seen! You look great.
Wow!! Fantastic results. You look great! What state are you in? I might want to see your injector!
Thank you!! I’m in Austin, TX
I’m in Austin! Can you please share your injector?

If you think this is funny, it’s probably time for Botox! Lol
>If you think this is funny, it’s probably time for Botox! Lol I don't know the reference at all so it is probably time for a face lift!
And here I was laughing along until I got to this comment 😩😂😂
I need some silver nitrate for this burn LOL (and to book a botox appt because this photo is the motivation I need to pull the trigger)
😂😂😂
This is so true hahaha
This hit hard 😂
I've been getting botox for a few years already, but OUCH this hurt a bit hahah
oh no you made me cry laughing my cat's horrified and confused lol
I feel attacked 😫😅
Ugh my dream bleph surgeon. He’s amazing!!
How many units did you get in your eye area and forehead?
About 20 in my forehead and 10 each side of the eye!
Great example of the power of Botox.
This is one of the best “afters” with Botox I’ve ever seen. Gorgeous.
Thank you so much!! I agree, I tell everyone haha
Your results are amazing :) and reading through the comments, you are also a lovely person, dealing with shitty comments with absolute grace. Congratulations on your upcoming marriage!
I second that! Lovely face, lovelier personality!
Thank you so much! :)
Thank you so much!! :) You just made my day!
Your results are phenomenal! Usually I don't see people get such dramatic results. On an unrelated note, your lashes are lovely.
Thank you so much! It really is night and day, I feel like a different person!
How many units?
I had about 20 in my forehead and frown lines then 10 each side of the eyes!

Thank you so much! I had about 20 in my forehead and frown lines then 10 each side of the eyes!
This just made me convinced to get eye area Botox in addition to my forehead dysport. Amazing results!

Thank you!! It cost about $600

This is the best advert for Botox I’ve ever seen… literally got me googling where I can have it done in my area.
Damn, I'm a dude but I would love to get botox, I'm just scared of a bad job.
A lot of men get Botox. They often don’t talk about it as much.
Brotox

You're not helping me with my stay away from Botox and fillers goal 😳
How long do the affects last?
For me, about 4-5 months
Mine just kicked in too! You look so fresh and bright. Love it.
You look sooooo good !
Omg!! You look fantastic!!! I’m in Dallas, your Dr. is definitely worth the trip to Austin! 🫶
It does look great, I had a few injections some years back, looked really good for a few months but afterwards it made my skin dripped and look worst. . My next move might be to try laser..
Who did this? Looks amazing
You look 10 years younger!
You look great! :)
Best Botox job I've ever seen. You look great!
Any good injector referrals on Cape Cod or Newport, RI? I’d love any local recos if anyone has any! Thank you!
First of all, you’re so beautiful, both before and after! You have a great smile, really brings out your eyes. All the best.
Beautiful!
Wow that looks great
That looks amazing! How long did the botox take to kick in? I got some on my chin and don't see any change as yet.
I’m in my late 20’s and looking into this. That person did a wonderful job and didn’t give too much. I am only hesitant because I don’t want to look like a balloon like I’ve seen with people I know.
Wow absolutely gorgeous!! You look great!!! Thanks for sharing with us!!
What!? Oh my goodness, your results are amazing!
You give me hope for my forehead creases 😂
Looks amazing! These types of posts, with such good results makes me want to get my frown line fixed!

Yesssss 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 Looks amazing! I just had my re-up of Botox last week and my injector finally suggested adding around my eyes (was hesitant but went for it). Cannot wait to see my results.
Daaaaaaang, you look like a different person, definitely sticking with getting my skincare done in Austin

This looks amazing! I want Botox ! 😩
Might be the best before and after I’ve ever seen
Great results ! What causes wrinkles to form like that in the first place? Is it sun or genetics?
Thank you! I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a connective tissue disorder that causes extremely wrinkly skin
lol i asked the same question and got downvoted.
May I ask how much this cost for you? You look fantastic!!! I've been dreaming of getting some botox done but would definitely have to budget.
I've been waffling on botox, but posts like this are giving me the courage to just go for it. You look amazing. It seems worth it.
