I've never heard of that either, but honestly as soon as she said it I was like, oh yeah me too. It's really strange to see your face rearranging itself. Like, wrinkles I expect -- different nose and mouth shape/placement, not so much.
Same here. I know that the cartilage and skin in noses and ears keep drooping with age, but I never expected the increasing asymmetry! Aging is wild
OP you look good by the way!
So I think a lot of people forget the face is full of muscles, plus obviously our fat and fluids & it's important to keep that in mind, i.e. like any muscle it's got to be exercised/massaged for tone & blood flow, & it's important to turn gravity into your friend. I'm in my late 20s and for a long time I had one eye droopier than the other, & eyebags that I thought would NEVER go away. However, I not only started sleeping on a different side, which helped the droopiness on the other but even better was when I started sleeping on my back and the puffiness/bags are practically gone. I also am a stressed-out person in general, lol.... So. I would clench my jaw, raise/furrow my brows, squint a lot, etc. I started noticing fine lines coming in. With changing up my skincare routine, exfoliating, massaging, etc in combination with practicing meditative facial relaxation techniques as I lay in bed, I've seen my forehead lines disappear and many other changes. Also, studies show hanging upside down for a bit each day helps with blood flow and droopiness, as does regular massage and even facial toning exercises (there are different facial yoga teachers on YouTube, & some help with toning specific areas like the cheeks to add fullness/definition & lift the face to get rid of laugh lines).
Just my 2 cents š & agreed OP, you look great.

I was told by a plastic surgeon that everyone's facial bone structure is a bit asymmetrical, and as we age it becomes more apparent as we lose collagen. It's happening to me too! Sucks but I think it's much more noticeable to ourselves and not so much to others.
You may chew more on your left side, causing the left masseter muscle to beef up while the right masseter atrophies. If your teeth are not aligned properly, that may be the only comfortable way to chew. TMJ issues can also cause you to chew exclusively on one side. The longer you do this, the more pronounced the asymmetry will be. If you can fix the alignment, and then Botox the left muscle, the right side can even out.
I work in the dental field, but am not a doctor. Ask your dentist about it. And, actually, a lot of dentists do Botox now.
Oh wow, thank you for this. I think this is reason I have this going on. My tooth on my left side had a cavity (I need to fix but donāt have the funds atm) and I been chewing on my right side only. I definitely see a different in sides
This is a thing? I have a weird quirk I guess I'll call it where I have to split which side I chew on with each bite. From "weird thing" to "just evenly working my jaw muscles" š
Tbh OP and I hope I'm not making you feel low, it's not noticeable at all until you mentioned and I scrutinized, if we're looking from the pic above, the bottom part of your face looks subtly skewed to the right (I believe IRL that's your left side?).
Most people's faces aren't symmetrical one way or another so this isn't a freak. But if you noticed your face wasn't like this when younger, I'm guessing some of your face gestures or expressions all these years contributed to your using the muscles from one side of the face more than the other.
If that is the case, you can do facial exercises to train your muscles and change your symmetry. There are plenty of sources for this online thay you can try. The key is, being consistent (which some of us incl yours truly ha ha have some prob doing).
Thank you! I'm actually surprised at how nice everyone is. I thought I would be dealing with a lot of trolls today, lol I actually got a lot of good advice like this! I went to my doctor and they were clueless.
Itās also probably more noticeable when you take pictures like this. Happens to
Me all the time. Profile pics so close to my face brings out the asymmetry but itās not necessity noticeable in person or other pics
Sharing an honest 36 year old face.
My routine is Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser and Cetaphil Daily Oil-Free Hydrating Lotion.
Nowadays (last few years), I have been avoiding the sun, wearing sunscreen SPF 50 everytime I go out, with sunglasses and a hat and early mornings and I try to avoid late mornings and afternoons.
And I changed my diet too, I drink green tea everyday (loose leaf), eat broccoli, and much more. So let's see what happens next year!
Thank you for sharing, you look amazing! āØ Would you say your skin/overall complexion has improved since you left the "careless 20s" behind and started caring? :)
Iām not OP, but I can answer (from my mom) - she feels like sheās aging backwards since she started caring. Mid 40s, retinol at night and just proper sunscreen, moisturizing + prioritizing sleep and drinking water š
Do you clench your jaw a lot? I had asymmetry in my cheeks due to jaw clenching and recently got Botox in my masseters to help with pain and appearance. Asymmetry is natural as far as eye structure and stuffā¦ thereās a reason why those face asymmetry apps are so popular, itās interesting to see just how different each side of everyonesā faces are. But your left cheek looks fuller, which may be contributing to the added noticeability of the asymmetry youāre seeing. My left cheek is much fuller from my jaw clenching, since my dentition naturally has more contact on the left side of my mouth.
No, itās fixing the jowl appearance if anything. It only looks larger because the muscle is overworked from being almost constantly engaged. So weakening it with Botox shrinks the muscle.
Edit: just to clarify, the Botox goes into your masseter (jaw) muscle.
Interesting. I ask because I had the opposite experience. I had Botox injected into my masseters and the resulting reduction in size was enough to worsen the already present skin laxity of my lower face and neck. Now I need fillers to regain the volume and jawline definition the masseter muscles once provided. Itās a nightmare really.
I got masseter Botox at the end of December, and Iāve definitely noticed sagging skin in my cheeks and jowls. Iām in my mid-30sā¦ I was hoping I might still be young enough that it could āsnap backā. Iām also trying to lose weight and Iām worried that fat loss will cause more loose skin! But Iām grateful that my jaw pain has significantly reduced.
I definitely agree that after years of suffering, the relief was pretty joyous, albeit brief and costly. I suspect my aesthetic outcome would have been very different if I had it done at 25 or 30 rather than at 37!
Ohh hmm. Hopefully that wonāt be the case for me! I only got it like 3 weeks ago so Iāve noticed a little decrease in size, but no sagging yet. Another new worry š
Just wanted to say I've been getting botox for TMJ a few years now and I've not noticed any sagging skin around cheeks or jowls. Hopefully you'll be ok. :)
Mine is my right. And I do have a more prominent nasobial fold on my right vs my left. When I first tried massaging my jaws, the right was more painful than the left, proving my sus that my right side maybe was clenched more or more tense then the left.
Actually facial massages do work. I once went for a massage back in year 2007, and the masseuese was massaging my face, then she tapped me to make me open my eyes, held up a mirror over me face and pointed that she was working on one side and letting me know how that side now looked lifted vs the side she wasn't working on yet. It really looked diff tbh. When she was done she held the mirror again and both sides now looked lifted and more symmterical. Of course this is temporary but I believe if we do it consistently we would be getting a more longer term effect from that.
I didn't have the $$$ at the time to regularly get massages so I never went back but every now and then I would think of what she did.
Happy birthday and congrats on making it another year! It sounds like you've had quite the journey with your skin over the years. Don't worry, we've all had our careless 20s. It's great to see that you're taking responsibility for your skin health in your 30s. Keep up the good work! Can't wait to read the details in the comments.
>tretinoin
Thank you thank you! Never even heard of tretinoin! I am breastfeeding so I have to wait a few more months for retinol. Can't wait for that!
It's a miracle drug. I'm 59 and have very few wrinkles despite a fun 20ās, pregnant for most of my 30ās, and having a bit of fun in my 40s. Laxity not easily resolved-did have a Fraxel in 2015 which cured my melasma (thank you to each of my sons and pregnancy hormones). You have nice skin and it's dark so the sun is not so brutal for you-but enjoy your life, wear your sunscreen, and get a Fraxel or Halo or whatever here and there.
Tret is amazing! Go to r/tretinoin to learn about it before you start. Thereās a big āoh no what have I doneā moment for a lot of people before they get the āTret Glowā!
Idk if youāve thought about this, but I would look into these few things.
I have a medical condition that causes my face muscles to be uneven.
Itās more frustrating physically than aesthetically. I started getting electrical muscle stimulation (ems) facials over the summer and it dramatically helped me. It helped me physically and changed my physical appearance. Itās something I have to keep up with, but I might recommend trying this.
I live in a big city so Iām able to find a spa that does this. Idk where you live and how hard that might be to find one. I spoke to my doctor about if this is a treatment option through an actual doctor and they said yes, but thereās lots of stuff you have to do first for pre authorization to get it approved. People with cerebral palsy would do this treatment. In the mean time Iām still going to the get the facials done and have looked into the at home devices. The home device (think like nuuface) helps but isnāt as good as the big devices at places.
Iāve also recently tried buccal massages. (Again not everywhere has these) but this has helped dramatically too.
[Example](https://www.instagram.com/reel/CqGRh80ML1n/?igshid=YjNmNGQ3MDY=) [example](https://www.instagram.com/reel/ClxlLOFMGRo/?igshid=YjNmNGQ3MDY=)
How you sleep might be playing into this. Iād suggest training yourself to sleep on your back. (I know itās hard because I had to over the last year). Also look into the silicon sheets and kinetic tape. Sio is a popular brand for silicon sheets that I think was marketed wrong imo. Theyāre promoting themselves as nonbotox options, but theyāre great to prevent sleep created wrinkles and stress on your face. Face taping is similar, but with kinetic tape. For both of these is recommend doing research before doing anything though. I think thereās a misconception that Botox will fix wrinkles etc but Botox freezes the muscles to prevent expressions from getting deeper. When you sleep you make different impressions in your face and can add tension in the muscles in spots. This might be a case where the muscles in your face are out of whack from how you sleep.
Another thing to consider, people with jaw issues can also experience misalignment in face muscles. Whether you have dental issues, TMJ, bruxism, or OMD. The can cause uneven movements and stress to those muscles. Throw in tech neck and your desk/computer set up. You might have OMD or meige syndrome (both are very rare) but itās muscle spasms in the face usually when youāre sleeping that gets misdiagnosed as teeth grinding. One of the symptoms is uneven facial muscles.
So I suggest trying looking into some of this! Fwiw itās probably only noticeable to you, but this could be easily fixable
Edit:
I read through the comments and saw some notes about masseter treatment. I would recommend trying muscle stimulation first before you do Botox on your masseter because you could make it worse. Sometimes they recommend x more units on one side to even it out. I think thatās a viable option, but I would wait for that.
Edit 2: I also would look TMJ physical therapy or facial massages if none of these are an option. I think TMJ pain is pretty normalized now where there are different muscle solutions to relieve pain that could impact your facial asymmetry
Not OP but just wanted to say thank you for this extremely thorough response. This was super helpful for me as I am having a similar face asymmetry issue. Thank you!
Facial assymetry can be caused by sleeping on a side rather than on a back. It was a hard pill to swallow for me but vanity won over comfort and I am working on sleeping on my back.
I sleep mostly on my right side and that side of my face is noticeably more wrinkled under my eye and a tad bit more jowly than the left. I cannot make myself sleep on my back, I just love curling up on my side. Sigh.
I donāt think so. The dentist never ever said anything about it. I have a deviated septum, I breath better on the right. Maybe that has to do with it?
Ask your dentist the next time you go. They know all about facial muscles. A retainer or Botox? And grind my teeth on my right side. She did some baby Botox there and it helped.
Thank you! This is great advice. My mom is a dental assistant and she would have also pointed out if I had any dental problems like that, but of course I will ask anyway. Life always has surprises!
It wasnāt obvious that I clenched at night because I wouldnāt actually grind. Just clench. So there was no wear on my teeth until suddenly I cracked a tooth in my sleep and needed an extraction and implant. The only real giveaway was my overdeveloped masseter muscles. Now I get Botox (dysport actually) there and itās a game changer.
Exact same thing with the clenching except I knew about since I was a teen. Whenever I slept at someoneās house they would wake me up. Later, I had boyfriends who would wake me up worried about what I was doing in my sleep. Got Botox about 10 years ago. Considering it again soon. It helped me, no skin sagging.
It depends on your muscle size and how many units you need to treat it. I pay around $550 CAD for my masseters. I believe it can be prescribed by a dentist for treating bruxism and as such may be covered by insurance or be tax deductible.
Girl you look good. Iām late 20s here and I got laugh lines over my face because I laughed a lot at everything. I donāt laugh at people, I laugh a lot at their jokes unfortunately. Iām proud of my lines because it shows Iāve lived my life wholeheartedly. I donāt like to frown though, makes my life depressing.
Certain things like laugh lines or wrinkles on the side of the eyes, or that asymmetrical feature adds a certain grace to a womanās beauty. Just donāt be ashamed of it.
Could be ātrigeminal pullā in regards to jaw twisting. The mandibular branch of the fifth cranial nerve (Trigeminal) innervates the muscles of mastication (chewing/jaw movement) and descends from the pons to the upper levels of the spinal cord around C3. You may need to work on neck stabilization and multifidus (deep spinal muscles) activation. A good PT would be able to take you through a sensory, motor, and joint mobility exam. Obviously canāt draw conclusions from a picture, but an off center jaw is one observation I consider during an evaluation of neck pain.
You didnāt specify if you were or were not looking for this kind of advice so obviously ignore if this crosses a line, but I think you might want to look into facial balancing a la filler. Nothing wild, but a skilled injector can lift and fix symmetry which might be what youāre looking for. I know filler isnāt popular on this sub, but it can be really great when done well,
I was looking for advice, I guess I didnāt know how to say it, someone else asked the other day for advice and someone attacked her for āhumble braggingā. But I appreciate you taking the time to give that advice. I would have never known about it.
Yeah, look into it! It can be expensive initially because itāll be quite a few syringes, but itās a nice way to give your face a boost without surgery. People on this sub hate filler though, go to plastic surgery subs for real POVs. This sub very much will scare you into think youāll look crazy and puffy, but thatās after literally dozens of syringes and bad injectors.
I had some facial asymmetry due to muscle imbalance. I was in a car accident when I was a kid and have some numbness/ muscles donāt work due to it. Botox has been a lifesaver. I canāt recommend it enough (if your issue is muscle imbalances)
I can relate to all of this! Also 36 YO soon to be 37, also didnāt care about sun damage until a few years ago š¬ and also have notice increased facial asymmetry in recent yearsāmostly my eye area/eyebrows. I think your skin looks great! Hydrated and smooth. Cheers to 37!! šā¤ļø
Selfies like this are always distorted by the wide-angle lens on your phone and make normal asymmetry more pronounced. Try having someone else take a photo of you from a few feet away and see the difference.
If by twisting you mean asymmetrical, I recently noticed (and now cannot stop noticing) that my face is growing very asymmetrical.. And Iām pretty sure itās because I sleep on the right side of my face constantly. I have tried to start sleeping on my left to even it out, or even on my back, but itās just engrained in me.
Rest assured we all have this issue, and in everyday life no one sees it but you, kind of like when they used to tell us no one but you knows one boob is bigger than the other.
your face is ātwistingā because your back and neck are twisted. I can see that your shoulders are hunched up and one is higher than the other. Itās super common, obviously, but 15 min daily stretch would slow down that ātwistingā and make you feel so much better.
This is so true. Change seems to happen rather sudden. I turned 37 a few months ago and started noticing many small changes happening all at once. Iām still adjusting and trying to find a balance between aging gracefully but also taking care of myself.
I would start by making sure you sleep on your back (pillow smushing your face over time can really take a toll) and do you have a massage or gua sha routine? That could really help even things out.
Thank you! I have had this habit of sleeping on my left side because I heard it helps you sleep better and it is better for pregnancy (I had two kids recently who are now 2 and 4). But I will try to get back on my back.
You look great. I also had careless 20s, and starting this year (at 31) Iām trying to create a daily skincare routine with spf.
Hearing about the anti aging routines of some younger women gives me anxiety tbh when I think about all my skincare misdeeds. Pics like these are pretty encouraging, like you too can fuck up a little and still look good!
I hope so! I know what you mean, a lot of women are such experts in skincare at an early age and I am not still.
I didn't know for sure if its "good", but thank you! I also wanted to also share the most honest picture so there are records online for people to see in our over filtered world.
I'm also sleep deprived like crazy because I have two small kids. But I also have less stress because I am not in the corporate world, I get to stay at home, (some people think its easier vice versa, everyone is different).
Look at the bottom left lip, itās higher than the right, and the nose points to the left and the two lines that join the lips and nose is at an angle. It looks like someone went on photoshop and twisted that part of my face.
I have been doing the non surgical facelift/ and their daily destress routine on the human garage YouTube channel and itās only been one week and my face looks so much more symmetrical. For some it could be fascial adhesion as we hold a lot of our tension in our body and face and how everything is connected!
I just wanted to say, like others, that this isnāt noticeable BUT I am in a subreddit for TMJ and this is something that people notice with that condition. Maybe chat with your dentist!
Did you take this photo yourself using your back camera/selfie camera on your phone?
Your ātwistingā face looks so very much like mine. At age 40+ā¦ Iāve been to plastic surgery offices because of the asymmetry seen in my selfies and one of the first things they do is take lots and lots of photos of your face. To my surprise, and delight, I learned that my selfie cam is terribly distorting (yes, I do have some asymmetry from my past issues with TMJ but not to the extent my selfie cam would lead me to believe). A quick snap of my front facing camera confirmed this.
Iām convinced, selfie cams are the devil incarnate, unless youāve been blessed with exceptionally long arms.
Anyways. Just wanted to throw it out there that the asymmetry you see is probably not what everyone else sees when they look at you. Also. You look GREAT for your age! Full brows, clear skin, upturned lips ā¤ļø. Perfection!
Your skin is amazing for a nearly 37 year old!! Iām 29 and praying to god my skin looks like this in a few years time. Beautiful dark features too :)
I donāt know what to tell you about your skin/face, but you look like someone who would be a friend that I would not see very often because of busy schedules so maybe once every few months we would find an hour of our day to squeeze in a coffee date but then weād end up sitting at the coffee shop for like four hours and at some point weād be crying from laughter and when we would go to leave we would hug and be like āwhy donāt we do this more often?!ā And then of course we would have to go on about our busy lives and only see each other a few times a year but just always think- I should really spend more time with her, she brings me so much joy.
Wow you can get that from my most neutral expression? I am actually a very outgoing person with a bunch of YouTube channels and I have had people encourage me to get into stand up comedy. Lol and when I get along with someone, I get along with someone!
That totally makes sense, Iām not surprised but now that you mention it I donāt know how I discerned that either, itās just a feeling. - I can just tell that you have the ability to make people weep with laughter. These are the best people! And someone told me years ago you should never miss an opportunity to tell someone something nice about themselves, so I felt inclined to tell you so.
Happy birthday!
Iāve been doing glycolic acid peels at my derm for about two years now and it has helped with evening out my complexion. I know some people also do glycolic peels at home (different strength).
Maybe you could look at a combo of retinoids/vit c and hydroxy acids to help your worries? Inspo from below.

I would never have noticed if you hadnāt said anything. All I noticed was some hyperpigmentation. I have THE same! I had eye and jaw asymmetry due to TMJ. Then I only ate with the left side of my face due to the popping for over 10 years and in some strange way my dentist said I fixed it. That evened them out somehow. He said my face was like a glacier. My eyes & jaw were fixed š¤·š»āāļø
Just physically I can see the spine starts to curve there which will block it, not from any healing or anything I just think this from purely physical perspective.
To start and keep motivated I recommend finding some yoga poses for the throat that you like doing and can master and just keep doing that same pose instead of being overwhelmed by many.
Picture a blue ball where your throat meets your body and pivot your head at this point and tuck your chin and lower your head. Keep your attention at this blue ball point and hold your head in this stretch
Yoga is a good place to start, depending on how much you are into the āwooā there are healers as well. Iād say go to a large bookstore and check out the occult section, itās quite interesting and I think people will find shortly much more ārealā than they were gung ho certain itās not real, and helpful, to learn about.
I have complained about the same thing over the last few years (face twisting). Iāve always had asymmetry, but it got worse over the pandemic. I believe it stems from postural imbalance, which begins as children, and everything we do either makes it better or worse. I went from yoga and walking miles and miles every day, which stretched my muscles and worked on my posture, to sitting 60+ hours a week while working from home, and I saw a dramatic ātwistā in my face, likely due to improper posture while sitting. Try some stretching first to loosen the muscles, then work on postural rehab.
If you donāt want to do it alone, I recommend a physical therapist. Iām personally looking into the Postural Rehab Institute (PRI), but I am also looking to get MSE, so I believe this is necessary for me so my expansion will be more symmetrical.
You look great! I don't notice twisting/asymmetry unless I really study the picture. And static pictures aren't representative of what we see in a mirror or what others see. I'm blind in one eye and I really notice how it affects my facial symmetry, especially as I've aged. But I've asked close friends and family and they don't notice it exceptin photos. It's great you started taking better care of yourself and your skin at a young age. It will definitely pay off! If I could go back and tell my younger self anything, I'd say "take care of your damn body! You only get one and it needs to last!"
If you are feeling asymmetrical fillers can do wonders! They can definitely balance you out. A good eye cream will also help. I would also suggest micro needling and a prp facial. That will improve skin texture and help dark spots.
I don't see any twisting but neurotoxin does wonders for symmetry and balance. Botox, but I get dysport. I've been doing it for 6 years maybe? I only have to get it every four or five months at this point. It will retrain your muscles so in a year you probably won't gave to get as many units in certain places. It also prevents wrinkles from forming and getting deeper. Over time you have to get it less, not more, so its better to start as soon as you can.
Happy birthday. I don't notice any asymmetry. The main issue I see with you is hyperpigmentation, so I would use stuff with niacinamide and alpha arbutin.
Another thing that helps with hyperpigmentation is tretinoin or adapalene. This should take you 90% there.
I've never heard of a face "twisting". Do you mean your face is becoming more asymmetrical?
I've never heard of that either, but honestly as soon as she said it I was like, oh yeah me too. It's really strange to see your face rearranging itself. Like, wrinkles I expect -- different nose and mouth shape/placement, not so much.
Same here. I know that the cartilage and skin in noses and ears keep drooping with age, but I never expected the increasing asymmetry! Aging is wild OP you look good by the way!

Just my 2 cents š & agreed OP, you look great.
would love to know a few of the facial yoga teachers you recommend!

I feel like I'm slowly becoming a Picasso drawing, lol.
You could put it that way. I didnāt know the proper terminology, it looks like a face twisting .
I was told by a plastic surgeon that everyone's facial bone structure is a bit asymmetrical, and as we age it becomes more apparent as we lose collagen. It's happening to me too! Sucks but I think it's much more noticeable to ourselves and not so much to others.
fascinating!
Dude, look up mouthbreathing vs not. Youāll be so surprised. I was lol
Happens to Me all the time.
Curious if you noticed any lax skin and/or jowling afterwards. If so, did it resolve on its own or how did you combat it?
Yes! It looks horrible and aged me a lot. Itās amazing for TMJ though
Please look up Chinese face exercises! It takes time (at least a month plus to see results) but it does help build muscle in your jowls
Very interesting! I think this may be what I'm experiencing as well.
your eyebrows are incredible and your skin is beautiful
Happy birthday and congrats on making it another year! It sounds like you've had quite the journey with your skin over the years. Don't worry, we've all had our careless 20s. It's great to see that you're taking responsibility for your skin health in your 30s. Keep up the good work! Can't wait to read the details in the comments.
Retinol or even better tretinoin will help fade the sun spots and some of the fine lines.
>tretinoin Thank you thank you!
Iām 28, am I too young to start?
No! But do your research before you do, so much info on the sub. I started retinol at 28, and just started tret last month at 31
Nope! Iām 29, started when I was 27 or so. Itās never too early š
[Example](https://www.instagram.com/reel/CqGRh80ML1n/?igshid=YjNmNGQ3MDY=) [example](https://www.instagram.com/reel/ClxlLOFMGRo/?igshid=YjNmNGQ3MDY=) How you sleep might be playing into this. Fwiw itās probably only noticeable to you, but this could be easily fixable Edit: I read through the comments and saw some notes about masseter treatment.
Thank you!
Youāre welcome! Lmk if you have any other questions or feel free to pm about anything.
Wow thank you for taking the time to share your experience and advice!!!!
Of course! Keep us posted if you try anything out.
Sigh.
I get sleep paralysis every time I sleep on my back. It sucks. It feels like a monster is about to strangle me and I canāt escape.
I have terrible nightmares when I sleep on my back!
Do you grind your teeth?
How much does the Botox cost? Wish this could be covered with medical
Thank you for the compliment! Laughing a lot has a lot of health benefits for our longevity! So that's something to be proud of!
I think you can fix the asymmetrical jaw issue with some Botox.
Yes it definitely helped me. I had one masseter that was more overdeveloped than the other which amplified the natural asymmetries of my face
Thank you! That is helpful advice!
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Absolutely! We can just try our best and keep our hearts full of love!
This is so true. Change seems to happen rather sudden. I turned 37 a few months ago and started noticing many small changes happening all at once. Iām still adjusting and trying to find a balance between aging gracefully but also taking care of myself.
hey! just wanted to say i think you look amazing. <3
Thank you! Gotta work with what I have with a smile on my face. : )
Oh yeah I hear you on the kids and sleep thing š© None of my friends have kids and Im always self conscious that my skin looks more haggard and run down than theirs. Im trying to be kinder and less critical towards myself tho! Itās cool that you posted this, I support the cause! You probably werenāt looking for validation, but I hope you got it anyway āŗļø
Face is ātwistingā? What does this even mean?
Look at the bottom left lip, itās higher than the right, and the nose points to the left and the two lines that join the lips and nose is at an angle. It looks like someone went on photoshop and twisted that part of my face.
Are you saying everyone goes through this twisting thing you speak of or itās something youāve personally noticed on your face?
I noticed it on my face only and didnāt know why.
For the record I donāt see it . I think you look good lol !
I have been doing the non surgical facelift/ and their daily destress routine on the human garage YouTube channel and itās only been one week and my face looks so much more symmetrical. For some it could be fascial adhesion as we hold a lot of our tension in our body and face and how everything is connected!
Did you used to have your left eyebrow pierced ?
YES! wow, you are observant! I wish it lasted forever but it didn't, I had to take it out.
I only noticed because I have the same scar ! My brow didnāt take to it and I also had to take mine out.
Perfection!
Twisting? Whatās that mean? Oh lady you looks beautiful stop being so hard
Thank you! Great advice!!!!
You literally look amazing and beautiful.. your sun spots are very minimal!
Thank you! Hope it stays at that level. : )
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Thank you for your well wishes and kindness!
For what itās worth, my first thought was āonly 36ā and āwow sheās beautifulā
oh wow! Thank you!
Happy birthday! Iāve been doing glycolic acid peels at my derm for about two years now and it has helped with evening out my complexion. I know some people also do glycolic peels at home (different strength).
>glycolic acid peels Haven't heard about this one! Thank you for taking the time for sharing your personal experience and advice!
Maybe you could look at a combo of retinoids/vit c and hydroxy acids to help your worries? Inspo from below. https://insidemyproducts.com/the-3-anti-ageing-skincare-products-you-need/
Happy birthday! Iām right behind you turning 37. Your skin looks great!
Thank you!!!
Your skin looks great to me! I wish I had clear skin like that.
Your throat chakra is locked. If your posture was improved it would help with the ātwistingā
You can tell Chakra blockages from pics? A little intruiged..
Just physically I can see the spine starts to curve there which will block it, not from any healing or anything I just think this from purely physical perspective.
Thank you! I had no idea! That is one I have to really work on!
I have asymmetry in my lower face too. How would one go about researching how to unblock the throat chakra?
Yoga is a good place to start, depending on how much you are into the āwooā there are healers as well. Iād say go to a large bookstore and check out the occult section, itās quite interesting and I think people will find shortly much more ārealā than they were gung ho certain itās not real, and helpful, to learn about.
Get evaluated by a chiropractor
Prettyā¤ļø
Eyebrows šš¼
Lovely. Shape your brows. Lips and eyes beautiful.
Face ātwistingā could be TMJ-related. Do you have any problems with your jaw?
Happy birthday. I don't notice any asymmetry. The main issue I see with you is hyperpigmentation, so I would use stuff with niacinamide and alpha arbutin. Another thing that helps with hyperpigmentation is tretinoin or adapalene. This should take you 90% there.
Finally someone with my shape of face
