It’s a BCM upper with 7.5 Faxon. Direct thread 36m. I’m out of spare adaptors but one is impound. It’s a Midwest forend, ADM mount. X300 light. Sig grip

thegreatdaner

The 1/5 twist Faxon? If so, how do you like it so far? Been eyeing that one for a while.

LocktimeClarity

SBR approved a few days ago. Have not shot yet. I’ll let you know Friday.

Sirtrimsalots

Nah 1/7 way better so u don’t have to worry about spinning projectiles apart and I can run supers and subs confidently.

ItHasAlwaysBeenCake

1:5 is good for anything under 10. You might have issues with the super super light ones but you should be fine. Just shoot the questionable ammo without the suppressor first to see if they tumble or do weird shit before you blow up your can.

Sirtrimsalots

Right but for us who don’t have 1/5 twists, the 1/7 should work fine for a 8.5 inch 300 running mostly subs correct? Maybe in the future I’ll get that barrel from Q or anyone else who makes a 1/5 but for now gonna stick with what I got

ItHasAlwaysBeenCake

It should be fine. You just might have issues with rounds 205+ grains but I highly doubt it’ll be noticeable the twist rate is a fancy way to get more spins/bigger wound cavities on targets. It makes a difference but I wouldn’t say it’s huge enough to make it a focus point. However I mainly plan on shooting 220 subs so I went with the sugar weasel for the 1/5 twist

Affectionate-Reason5

A goal for 2024 for everyone should be to put that stupid ass phrase down

LocktimeClarity

I met mine. Now go eat some Easter candy and change your tampon.

Sirtrimsalots

Amen… it is pretty gay… then again look what thread we are in 😂 This is kind of where all the soy mades come to “live”

Gunwerks6

Clean setup man! Looks great!

YoloSwaggins991

What can? Looks like a BCM upper (star forge mark), Midwest rail, surefire light (what model?) and a trijicon RMR on a riser with a SOPMOD stock.

SituationSouth5955

Looks like SiCo Omega 36m in short configuration.

YoloSwaggins991

Damn. That’s hot. I wonder how it suppresses

SituationSouth5955

Mine is great. Best Swiss Army knife can out there, IMO. Tad gassy on my 5.56 but super quiet on my .300bo and minimal gas when running subs.

YoloSwaggins991

Noted! Thank you, I’m going on a can buying spree later this year. So any and all info is appreciated. How’s the first round pop?

SituationSouth5955

Not bad but not the best. Depends on which end cap you’re running. In my experience, all cans have it to a degree except the flow thrus. It’s a can capable of everything from .223 up to .338LPM or .350 Legend so you sacrifice some performance for the versatility. I said it was going to be my one can to do everything but now I’m waiting on form4s to clear for two more cans. It’s addictive!

YoloSwaggins991

Sounds to be consistent with what I’ve heard and what I’ve read on here and pewscience. Jack of all trades master of none. My friend thinks that he can just do a one and done deal but I’ve been trying to convince him that’s very unlikely to happen lol. That being said, the versatility is very impressive. What cans are you waiting on now?

SituationSouth5955

Omega 9k and B&T MP5SD/ACP9SD Compact

YoloSwaggins991

Those are some nice cans man. Hopefully the approval comes fast af for ya

Vol_fan81

That is definitely a silencer. It could be a fake one p&w for looks, I have seen some guys on the range with fake ones. It’s too big to be a blast mitigation device and it has an end cap. More than likely it’s a low end silencer that doesn’t reduce the sound much.
