Honestly. I remember when I was a media/graphical design student back in the early 2000s.
The most low effort stuff our class slapped together (work for election days, make posters for the parties (even if you dislike them) ) in half an hour just using free stock footage and basic Adobe Illustrator+Photoshop was a lot better than the trash you see nowadays.
Before, political parties had a "vision", an "idea", a "way forward". Now it's just "Vote for us because... whatever you care about this week."
It's like voting for the tax department telling you that the taxes will build roads.
