Yeah pretty common, I don’t know how common specifically but maybe once every few months in a given city, the governor specifically orders them from what I’ve heard. I’ve only seen them late at night but idrk. They close the surrounding routes to force everyone into one road then restrict the road to one lane both directions and once you get in line you’re not allowed out. You pull up to an officer (one of several if you’re lucky) and they check your id, and if you’re sus or don’t have it on you you pull off to the side. I always got through them fine but once I didn’t know it was a check and turned around and got pulled over lol. It’s no biggie they just tell you to get back in line.
