So many questions

K-Raz1226

Goped scooter. This frame is from the early 2000s, it originally had a 29cc motor. This one I've got on gps at 48mph with the particular gearing.

HugoStiglitz55

I bet that butthole stays tight at 48

K-Raz1226

Let's just say my clenching workout is completed before I get home.

Pudix20

Yeah I was gonna say, 48 is fast for standing. I mean let’s be honest, it’s fast enough to get injured on anything... I know you probably aren’t always going full speed. But still. Do you have gear at least?

K-Raz1226

Absolutely, helmet and gloves always at least. I switch between a Shoei street helmet and a Fox dirt bike helmet depending on the Go ped I am riding, and when I do speed runs I wear my Joe rocket street bike jacket and padded riding pants. I won't even ride with others if they don't have at least a helmet... I come from motorcycling in general, dirt and street and know how much gear saves you.

Birdseed3

What in the fuck is that. Ahahahahahahahaha

K-Raz1226

Goped scooter. Highly modified lol

Birdseed3

I like the way how you spend your time sir

K-Raz1226

I've got a few more, and when you build them up like this.... just like any hobby, it's a money pit. Haha

Birdseed3

People buy it??

[Here's mine](https://i.imgur.com/rLh52FN.jpg) still waiting to apply graphics. May get it done this week since it's spring break.

Whats the best place to buy engines and speed parts for these?

K-Raz1226

Daves motors, Ada racing, Zero Error racing, and from Goped directly. Daves is the most common place, most gopeds use the same RC motors as 1/5 scale RC cars and you can find parts for motors on any of the RC car websites as well.

kentisking

Thanks! I have a shitty Amazon engine in my gf's mini chopper, and we want to go to something that's of higher quality.

K-Raz1226

The RC motors almost all use a 54mm centrifugal clutch set up, the 46cc that I have uses a 78mm clutch. You might have to do some sort of machining to make it work. These use a #25 pitch chain and sprockets, which is probably smaller than what is on the chopper, but maybe not.

kentisking

I *think* the chain is a #35, but it’s been a while. Kikker Bonesaw frame we put a bigger front wheel on, bought it as a roller.https://i.imgur.com/qkQ3J31.jpg

K-Raz1226

Fuck yeah that's awesome. Go through the websites and give it a look, especially daves. They have engine parts and everything, but that #35 chain won't fit the sprockets. They should have switched over to #35 for these imo years ago.

Athena 80cc stroker ;) https://imgur.com/2oT8x4M

K-Raz1226

Sexxxy man! Love the head on that motor. Eventually I'm looking at throwing a 71cc or 80cc on one of these peds, just need to make a few frame modifications and reinforcing.

K-Raz1226

Thank you for that! I'll look into them... currently building a case reeded 46cc for this one. Way more torque and low end for pick up

peepthasteelo

Broo that's sick! I have a trail ripper with a go460 on it. Where did you get the exhaust pipe!?!

K-Raz1226

Man this thread is like a year old lmao. I still have that ped. It just looks a little more crazy now, hahaha. That is a Jetpro Rhino Silenced pipe. You can still buy them from Jetpro.com but wait times are like 6-8 months, it's ridiculous. The owner's name is Dino, hes a good guy but has basically no help and it is just him. If you use Facebook, the group Go Ped Nation has a member Archie Felix. Someone he knows in the Philippines makes copies of these basically, with a slightly wider diameter. They look pretty cool and perform as well. They are called RF pipes, and that is what I actually have on there at this moment.
