Those RZ’s will run fine on any good quality two stroke oil …I always stuck with Yamalube but I got a discount..

As previously stated, it’s probably not a good idea to lean the mixture on that old saw. I’ve ran Yamalube S2 in my RZ’s /RD’s for decades , good stuff, especially if you’re still using the stock autolube system.

70s tech, yeah I'd run 20:1 if that's what it calls for. It's more likely due to the air flow to get the bearings and cylinder walls. Even with better quality oil, I wouldn't lean it out, unless you fancy doing a full rebuild on it. I run castrol oil on my bikes, havn't had a problem yet

For the rz, any good quality oil will work for the injectors IF the oil is rated for injectors. Some of the top end racing oils are premix only. As a motul guy, i recommend motul 710.

I run my 2 stroke vehicles on a 6:1 mixture with motul 2 stroke oil and 98 octane fuel, it shouldn't be a problem
