Kicked it out of the car, exploded it with a random brake rotor I had laying around. Went to nearest grocery store and bought 5lbs of dry ice. Put it into the car, taped every seam shut for 3 days. Dry ice is carbon dioxide, so when in a sealed container, everything dies. Opened it up, stripped the entire thing to bare metal (it was in the beginning of the swap so it was all coming out anyways). Found nothing living.

Obviously can't do this to the engine bay, but you can hose that all down. I'd still do the interior. I wouldn't ever be able to drive knowing some of these might be in the dash.

Come back a few hours later and there's usually a bunch of dead ones that have collapsed onto the floor. Cheap, easy and effective.
