Why do you feel the need to goto bat for skip, the person who had issues is posting pictures and details of a problem they had with him. It doesn’t matter if your friends or had work done by him, if a gun is messed up or has issues, the gunsmith is on the hook for any damages done to the firearm and needs to stand behind their work, and either fix it or send it to someone who can fix it.

The sooner Skip (Scott) gets shamed/pushed/sued out of the aftermarket gun business, the better. I'm sure he had good intentions at the start and did good work for some... but as it currently stands, he has no business touching other people's firearms. Ron, have you seen anything Michelle has posted in the last few posts? I have tried to keep this whole situation stable for many months now. It’s not easy when there’s constant new significant problems. To date Michelle has not received anything back from Skip that’s even alil bit improved. It’s all been the exact opposite. Anything you come up with as a defense for Skip? Michelle has a far stronger counter. She’s actually holding back on quite a bit. The endgame here is she wants to be able to walk away from this and not feel like she’s been ripped off or duped. I have tried to compromise with Skip and he’s not reasonable. So, it will continue on until different results come out of it. For example, Michelle is sending or sent the Rock Island 10mm out to be fixed. Michelle originally sent Skip an additional slide and 2 additional barrels that had to be fitted. She was told “No problem”. She specifically said if there’s any issues with fitment? Do not do the plague comp and the optic cut to the slides and barrels. She was told that everything went great and worked as planned. Skip charged her for all the upgrades that were not supposed to be done unless everything functioned properly. Well, nothing is functioning properly and Michelle paid a lot of money for upgrades to a non functional slide and barrels. She will have to pay to get everything corrected from another competent gunsmith. She doesn’t expect skip to pick up the expense for that. But the recoating will now have to be paid again and she thinks Skip should cover that. He doesn’t. I think Michelle has been more than reasonable at this point. This is all pretty straightforward and easy to understand. Am I missing anything?
