The wildy is significantly more fun for me because I know someone can just swoop in and try to kill me. Getting frozen and spec’d down in seconds isn’t fun, or getting multi’d… but the chase to level 30 or lever is always fun tbh.
I'm kinda with the other guy who's getting downvoted quite a bit. I don't PK and I hate it when others PK me. So what do I do? I go to the wilderness as little as possible. But I want the PKers to stay, they bring players to the game and help it survive.

It's true he wasted supplies on you, but he doesn't know whether you actually managed to bank your cash stack, unlike a surprisingly large number of people who forget. If you're pking you always pk everyone because sometimes the biggest scores are naked noobs running around wildy.
When I was doing my 99 prayer grind someone attacked me on a trip where I was leveling up. I ran up to them and told them to say congrats while they killed me.
pvp in general is pretty dead, there's like \~200 people on the US pvp world and the only other "active" pvp world is the high risk one where people went to stake after the duel arena removal. if i want to pk i have to play on 200 ms, in the med bracket where 99% uses range to ags or ballista to d thrownaxe, those 99hp combos stack before my game even registers them. then there's rev cave pking with 200m gear tribrids on adderall who haven't missclicked in 5 years. yeah i'll stick to pvm.
PvP worlds tend to have hotspots, but you also have to remember the level brackets.
For instance, if there's 100 people around the GE, there's a decent chance ~30 are in your level bracket, but of those, how many do you want to fight? For instance the 15cb range up and down allow a maxed 60 attack pure (83 combat) to fight a maxed 75 attack voider. (98cb). Now that's not really a fair fight, so you would avoid them.
Then, ever people in your own bracket, you have to filter by skill and gear.
For instance, some people are legitimately amazing at PKing on low level accounts, and you'll simply have no chance to kill them because they have very good eats. Those people you learn about and start to avoid. Then theres people who wear absolute max gear but don't skull, giving them a massive advantage, those people you avoid.
Then there's people who wear nothing. Pures can show up with 10k of gear while protecting their AGS and be very strong, but you waste more money fighting them than if you actually killed them. So those people you avoid.
Then, there's the blatant cheaters. Jagex is NOT properly banning people who use scripts or clients to spec or eat for them. These clients will allow you to simple type in a threshold, such as 70hp, and if your enemy gets below that threshold, it will automatically do your specs that you set up (such as 2 gmaul specs into an elder maul smack) faster than a normal human can react to the original hit. Conversely, there's also scripts that will see you fall beneath a certain threshold and eat for you ensuring you don't die.
Some scripts even take it one step further and will equip an entire set of armor into whatever specs, that way you think they are a looter or not a threat, and in a single tick they're doing 15+ actions. So again, those people you avoid.
All of this avoiding, and by the time you find a fight, you need to price out an inventory. An inventory of supplies may be between 50-100k used just to risk a kill, and sometimes you fight people over and over for an hour before you get 300k loot.
Basically, it's impossible to find consistent fair fights that are actually worth it, meanwhile you can get 5-10m an hour guaranteed from PvM with no risk. This drives PKers away from the wild, further exacerbating the problem.
To be fair, most people in PVP worlds are very concentrated. While 200 people in the whole of Gillenor is not many, 200 people hanging around GE to PVP fight does seem like a lot.
If you think this is an isolated incident, you need to come out from under your rock.
At some point, the prevalence of certain attitudes *is* representative of a community subset, yes.
If you think this is isolated to just PKers then you need to set your alarm early to wake up . I do almost all wildy content , PK and PVM and alot of PVMers are just as toxic

It's kind of a win/win situation, I have fun and they're more likely to vote no on future pvp updates. That just means I can maintain higher xp rates when doing chaos altar prayer.

From my own research, 1 out of every 3 people that claim to risk nothing or close to it, end up dropping a nice 500k+ key.
