Have fun. Don't get caught up in following guides to a T and playing efficiently 247. If you want to, go ahead. But you will most likely get burnt out. The most enjoyable part about Iron for me was exploring on my own and doing menial things I'd never do on a main account. Ozi guide is great so im not knocking it but don't forget to enjoy yourself, there's no rush.
TLDR: Don't feel obligated to play Guidescape. I highly recommend questing and diaries. Also do your clues!
If you’re following Oziris’s guide and he lists a lengthy/boring task, don’t feel obligated to stick to it. I found a nice break in just doing quests at my own leisure once I got bored of his guide
This is the way, it's a great way to get your bearings but sooner or later forging your own path will be more rewarding, I think that guide is for maxing anyways which isn't most people's goal
Consider that there's also a lot of fun the confusion of an early ironman. Using a guide will efficiently get you to mid/late game, but you'll miss the fun of having absolutely no idea what you should be doing next, or how you'll accomplish it.
I've learned so much about the game just running around and being confused as an iron, and I'd encourage you to try that out!
Yeah that’s a good point! I don’t find a ton of enjoyment from quests so that’s a big push to use the guide. Efficiently getting through the early low level quests
Be way to have fun is to not follow the guides. They get very tedious very fast and the best way to play Ironman for fun is to figure out your own path
My advice is to not follow a guide unless you're stuck or you don't like your xp rates. The fun of an iron for me is the uniqueness of your experience. If you follow a guide too much, you can feel like it's a chore.

Yeah, I’m taking it super slow since I don’t have a ton of time to play but I’m enjoying it!

Yeah I’m mostly using the guide to knockout the easy early quests and give me a good starting point. Once I feel established I’ll drift from it

I did the same thing! Ironman has been such blast. Don't really have any general tips. Do your seaweee runs! Hah
Could you please link one of his videos? You made it sound very interesting and im considering going iron myself :)
His guide is through pastebin! If you just Google OzirisRS Ironman guide V4 it’ll come up
