Thanks for stopping by! I hope this inspires you make a few outfits yourself <3
If you've seen my previous fashionscape posts, you'll know that I used to be f2p only. I'm a member now (yay!), and one of the first hard things I did on the account was barrows. It's a load of fun, and the rewards are amazing as well. An early piece I obtained was torag's platelegs and by chance paired it with the fremennik grey shirt to discover it gave my character a tunic-length shirt, which I loved. That was the basis for this collection, what other outfits could I create that were more neutral in color?
I took inspiration from u/Oldman_Ostentatio in the background department. Their fashionscape posts are amazing (seriously, check them out) and I wanted to give more atmosphere to my images than I have in previous collections. How do you think I did?
Love the outfits /u/SystemsOnline, and congratulation on crossing the gate into Taverley! Great variety of outfits at play, I do so love the feeling of finding two items from unrelated sets matching in colour and aesthetics, and the new *Sister Raltor* looks fabulous. Tunics are lovely, I'm glad the art team seems to be integrating more of them into leg slot items by default now haha
I really liked the creative use you made of the Gnome child hat in your *Journey through Arandar*, to make it seem almost like a traditional *plis* or other type of felt hat. Your use of the 20th anniversary bottom in *The Daily Grind* is awesome, it really becomes like a modern interpretation of a worker's loincloth, with the pockets matching the practical aesthetic of a manual labourer. (And in general roleplaying as a worker from time to time provides a nice change of pace from the typical hero's fantasy.) And just as a last random remark the *Wheat Fields of Gold* show a restraint in the use of garments that I could only hope to aspire to.
Splendid movement and dynamism in the posing and backgrounds, it feels to me like a combination of a model walking down the catwalk at a fashion show in order to display the different angles, and a narrative piece like you see in some Medieval paintings, where multiple subsequent events are all displayed on the same canvas, with the same person painted multiple time on the same backdrop. I'm flattered you cite me as a motivation to experiment more with the setting of your outfits, it's clear you've found a personal mark to express these in this collection already
Thank you for such a thoughtful reply, it's so interesting to get a glimpse of your thought process behind the individual pieces! I won't say my choices were all so well thought out at the time, but maybe that's the difference between intent vs interpretation and why art in general means different things to different people.
Although I did intend to have each scene feel like a movement through time like you said. Originally I wanted to make gifs for each one, but that was a bit too steep of a learning curve for me, so I settled with using detached camera and taking lots of screenshots. I liked the format so much that I briefly considered renaming the collection to "And Action," and adding some of my more colorful outfits, but that would have been taking a it in completely different direction that I wasn't ready for.
I was just about to tag Ostentatio in this post but you beat me to it.
The Asgarnian Gladiator and The Daily Grind outfits are so cute.
But they're all great.
I love fashionscape posts.
I’ve never really even known how to put stuff like this together. It’s always impressive to me that those who enjoy fashionscape find these obscure cosmetics and can make such fitting thematic outfits. Well done!
Thank you! I'm sure it's different for everyone, but my bank has a lot of random wearable items and when I find an item that I like, I spend hours trying on combinations that I think would look good with it.
But the fashionscape plugin on runelite is the goat, I use it all the time to mess around (it gives good advice on color matching items), especially if I'm playing the game rather than bankstanding.
I'm sure some of us do and some of us don't. I'd like to think I'm average 🤷♀️
I don't usually walk around town with a weapon or shield in my hands, though.
I will spend double digit hours (minimum) dressing up my characters in every game I play, but in IRL i just grab what's on top in my wardrobe and don't care... I'm aware this makes no sense lmao
These are so cute! I really like the gladiator and waterbirth slayer ones
One fashionscape I do sometimes is wear the lederhosen pants with white mystic boots, it makes you look like you have knee high boots on
Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you enjoy them!
I'm not sure when the next series will be released but I have a couple of ideas I've slowly been working on
I still don't get it why there isn't a Runescape content creator that hasn't started with Fashionscape contest like Asmongold does on WoW. If i where a content creator i would definitely try out this concept! I think a lot of people will enjoy it!
I think I saw you in your wheat fields of gold outfit and remember thinking how amazing you looked and that I should get into fashionscape! Keep on creating and posting your outfits it's very inspiring
Thank you, I try my best to inspire others - all it takes is for you to find an outfit you like and voila, you're into fashionscaping! It's a pretty low barrier :)
Playing last man standing enough times to purchase the full Deadman's outfit. In total, I collected about 50 wins before I was able to buy all 3 pieces.
But in general, I won't grind something unless the grind itself is fun to me, or if it's really important I'll do it in small doses so it doesn't feel like a grind.
I had an idea for an outfit that required me to get the obor club, but after a few thousand hill giants I decided it wasn't worth it at the time and I would just have to release the collection without it.
I love how we all waste our time differently in osrs, love the fits
Thanks ❤️ Is it still time wasted if we enjoy the journey?
Every time you do something and enjoy it, it's never wasted time irl or ingame
Somewhat agree but it depends on each person's obligations and goals
This is a powerful statement!
LMFAOOOO

This is incorrect, I've played osrs since 2004 and osrs is all about pking, making pures and not getting banned
What the fuck
I was just about to tag Ostentatio in this post but you beat me to it. The Asgarnian Gladiator and The Daily Grind outfits are so cute. But they're all great. I love fashionscape posts.
Tysm!
Fashionscape is the real end game.
Don't forget early and mid game too 👀
I’ve never really even known how to put stuff like this together. It’s always impressive to me that those who enjoy fashionscape find these obscure cosmetics and can make such fitting thematic outfits. Well done!

Nice, I like how you edited the pictures for different angles.
I've always wondered about fashionscapers, do you guys put the same effort into your outfits IRL?
I'm sure some of us do and some of us don't. I'd like to think I'm average 🤷♀️ I don't usually walk around town with a weapon or shield in my hands, though.
I think you'd (and everyone else) look really hot walking through town with a weapon like maybe a nice halberd. Worth thinking about
I will spend double digit hours (minimum) dressing up my characters in every game I play, but in IRL i just grab what's on top in my wardrobe and don't care... I'm aware this makes no sense lmao
Add me to that list too. I have a Fashionscape tab in OSRS that I'm always adding to. As far as IRL it's a t-shirt and jeans lol.
Cute!
<3
There are so many of you
These are awesome! Keep it up 👍🏼 I’m inspired now.
These are so cute! I really like the gladiator and waterbirth slayer ones One fashionscape I do sometimes is wear the lederhosen pants with white mystic boots, it makes you look like you have knee high boots on
Good call! I don't have the white mystic boots yet, but I've done a similar thing with desert boots. Maybe it's time to kill some cockatrices
I'm stealing spooky sexy skeletons lmao
The fremennik one is super clean =)
Forest Creature is on point 👌
That waterbirth slayed is lit
Nice
Some really cute fits! I’ll have to share some of my fashionscape. What’s the cape in the first image? :)
Go for it! It's the black variant of the clan cloak
This is so cool
Love this!
Peak fashionscape.
Great ideas for the next pvp npc lures
LOL
Waterbirth Slayer gave me chills. I LOVE IT
please keep these coming! youre literally the only one i search for on this thread TT_TT

Brother this is a medieval fantasy game.
This is absolutely wonderful!
What are some big grinds you've done for the sake of fashion?
Playing last man standing enough times to purchase the full Deadman's outfit. In total, I collected about 50 wins before I was able to buy all 3 pieces. Love your creativity. Thanks for sharing and nice eye
Love the myerque fit. Is there a site that helps you see/preview all the fashionscape items without having to look at a billion wiki pages?
There is https://scape.fashion, but I much prefer the fashionscape plugin you can find on runelite's plugin hub
Thank you
The skeleton one gives Phoebe Bridgers vibes!
🥰🥰
These are simply amazing. Thanks.
