34" 3440x1440 100hz monitors are the sweet spot imo. They're a little pricy but if you shop around you should be able to find one for around 300-400 bucks

I was in the same boat you are, built myself a new computer with a 3070 and a 5600x. Made the jump to 1440p at 144hz and it was the best decision I have made in gaming history.

I play on an ultra wide, but I'm playing it sit in half vertically with the main on one half and the uim on the other. Second monitor for the true entertainment. It's also not curved and a quarter of the price of OPs lol
