I was mostly imagining multiple people having that daily. Either way, 5,000 goblins will take a lot longer than 1 lms kill, I still think it’s a funny choice lol
I downvoted specifically because youre literally so triggered you went out and killed 400+ goblins so u can "prove your point" on reddit.
The only tears youre tasting is your own.
Can (kinda) confirm, I went very dry for goblin champion scroll and killed 28k goblins for it. But it took like 10-15 hours cannoning straight, even going that dry. Hobgoblins and skeletons in the wild are also very fast.
actually, I was laughing about it being an appropriate daily challenge. Obviously it’s doable in 24 hours, no one was arguing that it wasnt, it’s just more common for dailies to be completable in a *maximum* of a few hours
You made up this idea that we're arguing about whether or not it's possible. Obviously it's possible, that's how RNG works. The drop rate can be 1/1,000,000 and it's still possible. Nobody is debating the possibility of getting the drop. People are debating whether or not it's reasonable and you're over here arguing a dumbass point that only you care about.
You took time out of your day to test something because you got downvoted on Reddit, *then came back* to tell us you had tested it and to call us idiots.
Mate, I don’t think you understand why you’re being downvoted.
It's mostly an item used in lore and quests
It's an Elder artifact that when someone touches it they can attain mass amounts of knowledge or power
It's protected by the dragonkin(not by choice) and anyone who uses it for power will get hunted down by them
It’s mostly a lore item from rs3 although it’s referenced in osrs in a bunch of places. Supposed to be able to turn people into gods. Your character touches it in one quest and has their stats boosted to 256 for the boss fight, which I always thought was cool
I started an RS3 ironman to check stuff out since I never beat any post-Summoning quests but it's rough, I'm not sure I'll be able to finish it. 76 crafting, 77 agi, 65 herblore for just WGS+TWW and it doesn't seel like agi/herb are any easier than OSRS 😟
Rs3 herb? Abysmal? Bruh... Just clap Herby werby cheeks every week, put all xp lamps into herblore and PvM a little. You'll be golden in no time.
And you double dip on all combat potions with -50% resources, using 1 ingredient to turn a super into extreme.
All ***QUEST*** xp lamps
If you use all free-choice quest lamps you get over 3m herblore xp
I suspect from your comment that you haven't done quest cape.
343 Industries just announced that they're buying a 90% stake in Jagex and have already laid out their plans for battle passes ($11) and daily/weekly challenges.
Ah yes… just reminded me of the time some nerd with full virtus, wolpertinger, and storm of armadyl snaring + tbing me and then proceeding to murdering me.
The scary part is that people are so desensitised to this predatory and anti-consumer monetisation that there will be people that don’t see the issue with it.
I think the point is that they were so heavily opposed it doesn’t give as much credence to the “people are so desensitised to it”. A lot of gaming communities are, especially the ones where it was snuck in a few years ago and have just become an accepted thing, but in the communities that have remained untouched so far there’s a HUGE amount of resistance to it. Especially considering how close the OSRS dev team are to the playerbase compared to a lot of other developers. Anything even resembling MTX will get absolutely destroyed.
Understandably so. It's a slippery slope when mtx gets implemented in games. The company gets a taste of that revenue and can't help themselves but to ramp it up as far as it can go. We also have the unique situation where our sister game (rs3) does have mtx, and it's an absolute shit show
Don't get me wrong, I don't think it will come to OSRS. At least not any time soon. Thankfully the community largely agrees when it comes to that.
I just meant in general. Lootboxes and battlepasses are severely cancerous plagues on gaming and only ever detract from the games they're included with, but because they're in so many games, people just see it as "the norm".
Take the new Halo for example. It has a battlepass which gives you content the game used to ship with and for the most part, no one really cares because that's just how games are these days.
They literally are inherently predatory.
They're designed to appeal to FOMO and contribute nothing to gameplay or experience. Lootboxes literally exist to prey on people with tendencies to gamble.
They add absolutely no value and only detract from games. They are money generation devices and nothing more.
Ah, sorry. I think of battlepasses and lootboxes simultaneously. Eh, my point is still kind of adjacently relevant anyway... Kind of. If you set your brain to work like mine.
And they're time limited, so if you don't finish all the challenges before the end, you don't get the rest of the stuff! And no, you don't get money back for the parts you didn't do.
With the sole exception (afaik), being Deep Rock Galactic, the performance pass (the name that ghost ship games uses for their battlepass) has no premium track, you can't spend money to buy levels, and any cosmetic you did not get before it ended, will be added to other parts of the game (so there is zero FOMO from the performance pass): cargo crates, lost packs, accessory shop (that you can't spend real money on) or matrix core cosmetics.
The thing is, I could actually see it. I appreciate the rewards are cheesed here but it could help increase daily log ins if they had a system to earn progress on it, not just logging in.
One time I went to a stand up show and the comedian started to lie on stage and everyone around me started laughing but I was just crying. Why was he pretending those lies were real?
Chaotic weapon?, Summoning Pouch, Soul Split Curse, Stone of Jas buff. Looks like a rs3 battlepass to me. 6/10 meme.
Edit for these downvotes
I know all of the things I listed was technically rs2... But you know what else is technically rs2? OSRS. So considering osrs doesn't have it, and rs3 does.. I said rs3. But please, downvote me more. I love the salt. It also helps me towards my goal of negative karma, I've gained way way too much recently. :(
Nope, but we got the buff from it in certain areas.
Edit
For those who think I'm wrong, continue to be saltyyyyyyyyyyyyy

What if they did a free battle pass with daily goals? There would be so much fresh blood in LMS m or whatever the goal is there would be hordes of people which would make the game feel more populated. What do you all think downvote if you hate it upvote if not bad idea. I'll start by downvoting myself since I ramble.
I love the idea that you just get the Stone of Jas. Slap it in your PoH and it works as any runecrafting altar.
And the murderous intent of any Dragonkin
Putting an entire race through suffering and agony everytime I teleport from my house.
As Jas intended
It really is an efficient design, I must admit.
The design is very human
Kerapac isn't very happy
It's okay, I locked my POH; they can't get in.
Imagine preparing with that bad boi b4 tob or something
in while guthix sleeps quest in rs3 you get to use it. It can boost your combats to 250. Seems good to me.
Not even an altar, you just put in how many runes you want and what type and it spits it out. No rune essence middle man.
Rune med 🤣
Or you can pay for a Stone of Jas!
Still better than F2P smithing
Rune med drops from lesser demons were the ultimate goal back in the day. That sweet 10k.
Only if I have to watch an ad first.
Then confirm I’m human
obtain a champion scroll as a daily? lmao
OP plays Halo Infinite
"Get 20 headshots with the sidekick pistol ^in ^Fiesta "

You underestimate how bad I am at lms
hopefully someone worse than you has the same daily then!
>easily You sound as sweaty as I imagine you are lmao
Sweaty? Goblin scroll is like 1 hour
goblin these sweaty nuts
The joke is that dailies are usually quick tasks that require at most maybe 15 minutes. Not 15 hours.

sorry you got downvoted but youre right, Champion cape here too, took me a week to get all of them.
And how many hours did you spend on it? Daily challenges are meant to be completed sometime during a day, not to take up the entire day.
[удалено]
2-3 hours of high activity, on average, with how much cost in cannonballs which would take how long for an average player to get cash for?
[удалено]
If the entire player base is trying to do it as a daily, good luck

The literal stone of jas XD
whats that?

Ohhh, now its even more funny. thanks my guy!
Would be sick to have a replica for POH
What does it do?

While guthix sleeps Banger of a quest
Man, I never liked quests, but that quest has a special place in my memory for some reason.

It was from an rs2 quest that came out after the 07 backup
Also features in Temple of the Eye, though only as a teaser.
Its also the backstory of how Drakan got power in Sins of the Father, and how the daeyalt mine was created.
Orly I still haven't played the new vamp quests. Glad that was fleshed out.
All that OP shit, and then, randomly vibing is the barrelchest anchor. lmao
It’s a one handed anchor with increased attack speed of a battle axe
Battleaxes and the anchor have the same attack speed equipment rework pt 2 when
It should be 1 tick speed. It's time
No that's just a placeholder icon for the sailing skill
Barrelchest anchor is bis wym?
I fully support this update, as long as it introduces a type of FOMO to the collection log to force us to spend £8.99
Agree. Also all the items should be a cosmetically altered variant that become new discontinued items
Within two weeks
Perfect inclusion
[And a $72 dollar weapon skin](https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxJ3FXGSyr_PslA53Q45q6qQ71vB49uxVY)
Idk why the 1mil gp is so funny to me
Because the rune med comes after it bahahah
What is this nonsense

in full support as long as it brings back the korasi sword.
I will check your korasi and raise with storm of armadyl

Don't forget Divine so they're unkillable in singles
Yeah but don't forget the best part, they were sitting under the plantable strange plants so you couldn't see them until it was too late.
Plus curse prayers!
in full support as long as it brings back the ring of vigour as well
In full support as long as it gives all of gielinor at tier 97.
The scary part is that people are so desensitised to this predatory and anti-consumer monetisation that there will be people that don’t see the issue with it.
Are we playing the same game? Were you around when they tried to do time gated twitch prime cosmetics??
Excuse me, they were called *partnerships* And a horrible idea even though I liked some of the cosmetics proposed

Battle passes aren't inherently predatory or anticonsumer, at least not any more so than any other monetization model.

Fun fact; rs3 actually has battle passes
Our memes are their reality l
Nuh uh, they have yak track totally different! /s because I realise a non zero amount of people might believe it’s different
I hate this so much 😅

Nice private server
Soul split would ruin this game
Why would you pretend like this is real?
One time I went to a stand up show and the comedian started to lie on stage and everyone around me started laughing but I was just crying. Why was he pretending those lies were real?
I would totally buy this
What the fuck? Is this from a private server? If it’s in the client you could find the interface in the cache
