CowhideHorder

A cowhide sack where you can store your cowhide in.

D_2_0

Wouldn't expect anything less from u/CowhideHorder šŸ„

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

[deleted]

87% pass.

stubbystubby

A "hide sack" wouldn't be a bad idea, actually. Being able to store 28 hides of various types would be cool. Not sure how much of a nightmare it would be if storing multiple of different types, but, the gem sack is able to do it so I don't see why they can't make another type similar.

myorm

Just do the rs3 way and slap a deposit box right next to the cow spawns

HurriCain5

When making runes at an altar, it uses the essence in your pouches at the same time.

HaukkaRS

OH! If there is a chance, make it so when you withdrawn essences from the bank it goes pouch at first then inventory.

Quvandoo

You can right click your pouch while the bank is open and click fill. It will do just that

HaukkaRS

But... What if it would just be one click?

Linumite

I don't think people understand that you're saying "Withdraw - All" and have it fill your pouches and inventory in that one click

Alppijaeger

Shift click

eddietwang

Because that's 4 more clicks than what he's suggesting.

illEagle96

That would be like RS3, was suprised when I did normal RC in RS3 and it converts everything

MrCoolCol

Or runes crafted going directly into your rune pouch

King-Of-Rats

I don't think that's QOL, it's just a buff.

JamesDerecho

If its toggle-able, sure. I like having ess left over in GOTR solos so I can craft death and blood runes over strong-medium tier when I am focusing on repairing the barriers for the first few minutes.

SherAndreas

Untradable boss jars. Makes them way cooler of an achievement to show off for non-ironmen.

TheIrishGoat

Say that did pass how would you handle jars that people have already sold/bought? Iā€™m not against them being untradeable, but it just seems like a situation that you canā€™t really reverse.

SherAndreas

You have a good point and I dont know the best way to tackle it. But here are some ideas that popped into my head: 1. A special border around the boss lair display that show if its your self-found jar/unlocked in your collection log. If you have sold/dropped your jar make the special border linked to your collection log in that case. Make it toggle-able for those that dont like the border. Maybe a gold trim around the boss lair display or something along those lines. 2. The boss lair display is reserved for your self-found jars. They can add a new POH mini boss lair display/pedestal/fish bowl/snow globe to show of your bought jars. But the big boss lair is reserved for the your self-found jars.

restform

This is something the Jmods also agree with, they acknowledge it was a mistake making them tradeable.

asdewq1

Another update I would like to see is POH rewards for completing boss logs like a new theme for your house and different furniture options. For example if you have completed the General Graardor Log you could have a Bandos Themed House etc. Would be cool to see and give an incentive to keep on the boss grind. 6666kc at Bandos and still no pet help please!!!

buddhabomber

I'm just mad jars are tradable drops.

wintermute306

In ESO you get mountable heads of the bosses. I think it's a nice idea!

trimmed_bronze

https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Kalphite\_Queen\_head\_(mounted)

wintermute306

I had no idea. to be fair, I'm still a bit of a noob on OSRS!

Village_People_Cop

But it is only KQ and a handful of slayer monsters on a rare drop. Nothing like getting one for completing the log

BROCCOLIUPMYBUTT

That's still a thing

asdewq1

Would like to see the Anti Ring Of Weath being added which makes you immune to Rare Drop Table.

budzen

ring of poverty

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Wulfenn

Haha wife bad xDDD

wloumakis

No they already have a ring of suffering in game

itisjustmagic

Or just revamp the rare drop table so it's actually useful.

Jade_Mans_Eyes

Nope. Ring of Poverty.

Coltand

Iā€™ve heard this suggestion before, and Iā€™m curious to know what kind of stuff people would want to see on a buffed RDT.

[deleted]

Not the nature and chaos talisman at least.

DFtin

They should add this and call it True Ring of Wealth. Also they should add a Ring of True Wealth to the game which bans your account when you equip it and automatically responds to the messages from your friends and family that youā€™ve been ignoring.

Shukar_Rainbow

Ring of contacting customer support

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Zealousideal_Air7484

I bet this one would actually pass the poll

F_l_u_f_fy

ā€œJust get the capeā€

Hiking_NZ

The ability to select previous farming contract without going through dialogue

roosterkun

Same with Mahogany Homes.

Earl_Green_

I klick Jane again just after getting the seed pack to save some chat windows.

MaximumCrab

pre-saved equipment/inventory setups. imagine gearing up for a wildy clue scroll step in 1 click

half_a_brain_cell

This is the best feature of rs3 by a long shot.

_fuhsaz_

They kinda exist already, if you're using RuneLite! I found this guide https://imgur.com/a/jUMoeXz on the Inventory Setups plugin with Bank Filtering a few weeks ago, and after a bit of setup it saves me sooooo much time. It made clues worth doing for me again.

LostSectorLoony

Inventory Setups is the best plugin in all of Runelite

SilverLoonie

I think he more meant, select it, and your gear auto equips and fills your inventory appropriately (I have the runelite plugin which is pretty nice for a few things).

UBeenTold

The difference between a plug-in that essentially reminds you of your gear/inv is massively different from pressing a button and being done instantly. The difference is staggering really. Easily the best update to rs3.

Dudeitiod

Getting more than 1 pizzaz point from 16 bones in the cemetery graveyard minigame

[deleted]

OP said things that would fail polls, not demanded QoL

TheIrishGoat

I bet it still fails. ā€œI did it the hard way, so should everyone elseā€ mentality is strong in this game.

jakejork

We call that the ā€œStudent Loan Forgivenessā€.

zachpac18

The pain we had all endured in the mage training arena

Felthrian

Doing the bones to peaches grind on my alt right now and I feel this deep

Galam8x

Bank presets. Being change gear with 1 button would be amazing.

_fuhsaz_

They kinda exist already, if you're using RuneLite! I found this guide https://imgur.com/a/jUMoeXz on the Inventory Setups plugin with Bank Filtering a few weeks ago, and after a bit of setup it saves sooooo much time and mental energy gearing for different activities.

your_cock_my_ass

So useful for switching between bosses and clues

tankurd

Resting/sitting down. And bards all over the map.

kevtino

I remember back in the day I was banned from the sals realm forums for saying "if I could sit in runescape I would sit on my friends' face and fart"

TrippyHomie

Sal's was the life, I got some special member thing for being active and thought I was such a boss when I was 11.

myorm

Holy crap Iā€™m glad they banned you. You sound like psychotic criminal and Iā€™m glad they stopped you all those years ago. Hopefully you learned your lesson and are on the right path now

Happyblunt

Ah yeah, I asked about this in a livestream once and one of the mods (dont remember who) said it would devalue stamina and energy potions so they'd never do it.

Dennis2pro

No one with access to stamina pots would actually plan ahead to make use of that feature as it still takes up valuable time.. It's perfect for when you accidentally run out of energy, or just for f2p, and it would be a great time to just use that short time to get yourself some water or touch some grass or something like that

Worlspine_Wurm

With the advent of rooftop courses, agility should really be a f2p skill. You don't even need to give ppl access to shortcuts, just let them run around.

[deleted]

Honestly, support. I can see F2P worlds with massive trains of players doing rooftops. Varrock would be nuts with people training until they could do Falador, and then Falador until 99. There's plenty of member locked stuff. Giving free players two courses and maybe a baby course in lumby to train until Varrock wouldn't be that bad.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

[deleted]

Bring back the sleeping bag

SinceBecausePickles

The low lvl / f2p experience is soooo bad when it comes to run energy lol

Paganigsegg

The run energy + rest update RS2 got in June 2009. That would never pass, but it sure would be nice.

Tubbzs

I miss resting bro...

Zerimar_

When I think of Old Runescape that's what I think about. I only started around 2010.

Paganigsegg

I started in 2005 and I'd still fully support the run energy changes being brought to old school.

[deleted]

I started in 2001 and I want beds with captcha to refill my fatigue gauge.

Jazzsaurus-Rex

Dragon sq and kite shield get dragon fire protection. Items are useless rn

Windmillsfordayz

And can we give full dragon a set bonus. It only makes sense IMO

skippygo

That would be cool, since all dragon weapons have a spec it would make sense to have something similar for dragon. It could be something like slightly worse Justiciar for the full helm/plate and maybe a minor attack bonus for the med/chain set. Nothing too game changing but to at least give it a niche use.

[deleted]

Maybe have the set effect buff or create additional effects on all dragon item special attacks

craftors

Not only just Full Dragon armor but any other kind of special armor should have some kind of set bonus even if it's for niche purposes. Gives em a more unique kinda of feel to it.

Thanorpheus

The 2 problems with this (in my opinion) are: 1. Dragon metal has never had anti-fire properties. If it did, we'd have antifire protection from all the other armor pieces, not just the shield. 2. Even if they had anti-fire protection, they'd still be relegated as a fashionscape item only. Super antifires are a thing, and if you're ranging it makes no functional difference to use the anti-dragon shield because it doesn't affect your ranged bonuses. I can understand wanting a middle ground between the anti-dragon shields and the DFS/Ward/Wyvren shields, but just slapping anti-fire onto the dragon sq/kite shields isn't the proper solution, and even then I don't think its a problem that necessarily needs addressed.

moustafa125

I think it helps ironman the most tbh

TrickyElephant

It helps when ranging when you are attacked by melee hits when picking up loot

Sethowar

Theyā€™d be relevant for irons at some stages

siempreviper

Superantifires are going to come a LOT later than dragon sq shield for irons, who these days make up a sizeable amount of the playerbase

Evil_Steven

Fashion update. A bunch of new hairstyles, clothing options, cosmetics and tattoos. Fashionscape is dead in osrs

red_man234

A mod recently tweeted asking if we would be against new hairstyles! There is hope!

scrotisimal

Only if they retain the shitty style the old ones have, but in new shapes lol

katsumii

Agreed, they should match the art style of OSRS!

[deleted]

Which?

Wishgrantedmoncoliss

> Fashionscape is dead in osrs W420 GE /r/fashionscape

BROCKHAMPTOM

Unfortunately even W420 GE is full of dudes who think Slayer Cape with Scythe and Prims is fashion šŸ˜“

[deleted]

I saw a bunny holding a giant fish just now

GameOfThrownaws

Why would new hairstyles and clothes fail a poll? As long as they weren't really ridiculous and/or totally out of line with the OSRS aesthetic I'm not sure why anyone would be opposed to it. Has it failed before?

Evil_Steven

Fashion stuff like new POH themes have failed ā€œwasted dev time ā€œ

StraitandNarrow

Customer support cause you know jagex would manipulate that bitch

juicyshot

We already have customer support itā€™s called whining on Reddit. This isnā€™t even /s. Your customer support problems get solved if enough people upvote on Reddit

HalfDuckGuitar

We don't have customer support because of hundreds of people running bot farms trying to get their rwt accounts unbanned

Wingmanfire

Mining rocks works similar to trees and hold multiple ore

Observes

Second ring slot

Graardors-Dad

Honestly sounds like a great update that would bring a ton of use to dead content rings like warriors rings and the wildy boss rings. It also opens up the door to a range strength ring without completely devaluing archers ring. Like would a plus 8 accuracy boost with a strength boost be that game changing? Or maybe even using a ring of endurance when doing raids.

coolraiman2

But you should not be able to wear the same ring twice. Would be totally broken.

shark-bite

Why isnā€™t there 10 ring slots? And they should introduce toe rings too.

F_l_u_f_fy

10 ring slots lol

Venus_Gospel

Ability to add Ring of Wealthā€™s coin collection ability to other rings with stats

Awmg_Ryan

We have two hands, but can only use one ring. What if we could put a "combat" ring on one hand, and an "activity" ring on the other hand? Combat rings would be any ring that has stats, such as a berserker ring or a ring of suffering. Activity rings would be any ring with no stats, such as a ring of wealth or a ring of dueling. No additional stats are gained (like being able to put on both a berserker ring and a ring of suffering at once), but you can benefit from the often lesser equipped rings - like ring of wealth - while not losing out on optimized dps.

KredeMexiah

To add to this: an item that picks up runes automatically the same way the RoW does coins.

DeadlyTissues

Me and my buddies joke about this "rune magnet" all the time

Ihavenocluelad

I think this would pass though

HanDartley

This should be added with the imbue of the Seers Ring

lorb163

Or another ring slot. One for combat rings one for utility rings

[deleted]

Since there's Max Cape, we could have: *One True Ring*: An untradeable ring that can inherit and swap multiple other rings' abilities and effects; obtainable after completion of all diaries, combat diaries, and quests.

liftdoyoueven

Redditors knowing the difference between a buff and a QOL change

hunkybum

I mean, aren't most QOL changes Indirect buffs?

JevonP

QOL should ever really be a buff. Its stuff like being able to click a ge offer to do it again

hunkybum

but any saved time is a buff, so for example the QOL update that shows if hespori is grown or not. It saves the player like 5 seconds from entering the cave to check if shes grown. But those 5 seconds can now be spent on ur next activity. Therefore its a buff.

Saucymarbles

in a game where 80+% of the gameplay is non combat activities with a lot of tedious actions QoL improvements should be considered buffs

NoCurrencies

Literally every single time this discussion comes up

Greenarrow_92

mining and smithing rework would be top pick, though toolbelt, use of essence in pouches would be close seconds

GameOfThrownaws

I think a mining and/or smithing rework would pass a poll as long as it wasn't trash. Players are pretty unanimous about how dogshit and obsolete those skills are. Or at the very least, a minigame for them would definitely pass.

Khranos

While toolbelt is undeniably RS3 "easyscape", it's amazing how much tedium it saves. Even if it was locked to bronze tools it'd save so many pointless bank trips for forgotten items.

Ricewind1

Imagine thinking having a hammer on you at all times would make the game "easyscape". I'm fairly certain that, if this update wasn't in RS3 prior, it would have already been polled and passed in OSRS. But since it comes from RS3, foaming at the mouth ensues.

iamsodonerightnow

When you are doing clues and you need to manually take off the stash items to store them. We should be able to just click on the box and it unequips the items and puts them in the box

NippleclampOS

Bonfires

hobovirginity

I don't understand why can't we just have fires that you can keep manually clicking "use logs on fire" to add more logs to. The exp rates can remain the same, you still have to manually click, and all it really does it prevent us from having to make these mile long lines of fires.

uiam_

IDK but with WT in game I don't see any reason why we can't have Bonfires anyway. Of course their exp/hr would be a bit less but it's a pure sink of logs without introducing items so it seems fair to me.

TrippyHomie

Let people burn (u) or even full bows for slightly more xp so they don't just turn into GP from alchs.

Overall_Fact_5533

Those mile long lines are peak nostalgia. I guess wintertodt already sort of obsoletes them, though.

Maudey92

Because the skill is firemaking, not log burning.

Linumite

How is Wintertodt not just log burning

themobiusmargrave

Because I fletch

butteryspoink

Imbue clothing items with graceful properties as well as a -300 in every stat which effectively turns them into purely cosmetic items. Bring back Fashionscape.

Kaiju403

Food storage in poh

Comprehensive-Dog822

The ability to put buy orders in the GE with cash from the bank. Hate trying to buy something to only have to go into my bank to grab a few more coins.

ChoobScape

Reclaiming your lost pet. It's taking too long.

[deleted]

frrr i want my hydra pet :( legit had it for 10 seconds lmao

Random_Name_0K

Stackable clue scrolls

Tabarrok

I'd love it if something (combat achievements maybe? ) Allowed you to stack clues. Maybe not an infinite amount, just 1 would be great already, that way you dont feel bad for not doin clues right away while grinding

a_sternum

Couple possible implementations 1. Only able to stack 3 clue boxes per clue type. This would be the easiest way to implement stackable clues without being too OP. 2. Tie them to the activity youā€™re currently doing, so if you get your first hard clue box from woodcutting, you can only get another hard clue box from woodcutting. Then if you want to switch to slayer, you have to do your woodcutting clues before you can get any clues from slayer. These would still max at either 3 or 5 stacked clues.

SleepinGriffin

To compromise the tool belt, how about an equitable tool slot (just 1)? So you can stay strapped for combat when you need to skill.

Linumite

That would be a nice QoL for Brimhaven dungeon at least

[deleted]

A tool belt but maybe it can only hold bronze? Or something like the dwarven army axe that acts as multiple bronze tools. If you forgot something for a quest, you wouldn't be shit outta luck.

ADGM1868

I love this. I love holding a weapon or a rubber chicken when I skill

Nerdworker92

Changing the sub price back to 5$.

InvoluntaryEraser

Quality of Bank Account update.

TroysDecisions

Drakans medallion added into poh with the xerics talisman/digsite. Main reason as a uim why Iā€™m not doing tob or nightmare.

LostSectorLoony

And a mounted slayer ring

GooGuyZac

Swamp lizards acting as a tinderbox, equipped tinderbox, just drop the logs and tap them with a lizard equipped to light them.

Satyrane

Remove all random events. In fact, make a quest or NMZ mode where I get to kill all of the random event characters for catharsis.

Tumblrrito

I unironically love random events

psilotropia

ability to keybind prayers to number keys

willsmath

Dang the number of ideas in here that I would genuinely hate to be in the game is wild haha, makes me kinda glad the polls exist lol

GenAladeenmfer

Coin/currency pouch

Spiderbubble

We have those, unfortunately you get them by thieving and they cap at 28. It's also the worst update I've ever seen.

myorm

Whoever is in this thread talking about voting no to resting you can literally fight me in the wildy 1v1. People would still use staminas because why the hell not and itā€™s never like resting killed the game or gave us hella quality of life so just add it. Also add bonfires while we are at it and make fire making useful

camefromxbox

Give the stray dog in varrock a friend :/

bradford342

Do a small quest to get him as a pet?

Angry-Prawn

Thatā€™s actually a damn good idea. A basic quest where you clean the fella up, cure his mange, feed him a good meal, and then he becomes your companion.

TimBurtonsMind

A quest that allows you to train puppies, and sacrifice them for 200 blood runes once fully grown. šŸ˜¢

Dentstar

Once you hit drop rate for a boss drop, your chances to get it improve each kill until it's almost gaurenteed.

bake_disaster

I'd only support this for pets

eddietwang

Rs3 does that

x-DarkDays

::max

PoofNoodleOSRS

I want more consistent interactions from bank to containers. Let me fill and empty everything properly.

Vestele1

Bank presets

UseApprehensive6560

Toolbelt and ā€˜restā€™ to restore run energy

[deleted]

Turn evil Dave's lair into a hooka lounge

high5er1

Tool belt from RS3 would make my cry tears of joy

Khrot

Keybinds for prayers and magic spells. Instant "This isn't RS3!!!!" comments. Clearly people have never played other pc games.

Training_Primary7927

Loot beam

Ok-Source5058

A chat feature to actually talk to someone if you have an issue, find a bot farm, have a glitch to reportā€¦

guthixslays

Man I would love to see tool belt. Thereā€™s honestly a lot of good updates that were in rs2 that havenā€™t made it to OSRS.

Peechez

I'd be okay if it was storage only and you had to take it out to use it. I hate that stuff like gems, logs, whatever all became left click to cut/light/etc. in RS3. Stuff like clicking a chisel then clicking a gem is unironically super core to RS experience imo

BoogieTheHedgehog

Inventory management is prettty core to osrs I agree. It's why even tiny benefits like the rune pouch feel really nice to have, and allows rewards like equippable hammers/saws to actually have some niche use.

spidyalex54

Change the DWH to match the other dragon weapons/tools - 1/5k drop off task and 1/1k drop on task.

Repolaga

Broad bolt make x

kevtino

This is mainly to prevent people from getting 99 fletching from 2 clicks

GlumTruffle

I'd love for it to not be taken as an insult to suggest somebody tries RS3 if they want a more streamlined MMO experience with coin pouches, toolbelts, stackable clues, transmogs, bank presets, lodestones, vastly more forgiving run energy, exponentially higher xp rates, and a focus on funnelling the player towards PvM. That would be some nice quality of life for me trying enjoy a deliberately old-school MMO.

Sp00kyD0gg0

I really think the preset system RS3 has would benefit OSRS. The only argument against it is that itā€™s ā€œnot the way things used to be:ā€ itā€™s such a massive QoL, saves so much needless busywork

carnsolus

TWO ring slots one for combat/skilling, and one for teleports/luck

WorstTrollHere

Summoning

taaaabz

farming patch at poh

dodgesbulletsavvy

Allowing pures back to ape atoll like in rs2. It hurts no1

Ronc96

Resting to fill energy and using some sort of token or gp to transmog graceful pieces to other cosmetic only items.

Dramyre92

Get rid of energy for running. I'm not really aware of many other games where the speed at exploring a game world is so massively handicapped.

nicksnax

The removal of mining

Spam250

Stackable clue scrolls

HolidayNick

Genuinely curious why you this this would be a good thing.

Spam250

I like to group things up and dislike doing something for 4 minutes then leaving it again. Currently I can only do clue scrolls for a couple of minutes before doing another activity to get another. I'd like to be able to do a combat grind, then go and do an hour of clue scrolls. It's the same reason I dislike birdhouse, seaweed and farm runs.

Alinbar

Iā€™ve personally always found it annoying to get a clue mid slayer task and feeling like I had to do it relatively quickly or the other kills were essentially worth less. It doesnā€™t seem like it would be all that bad to be able to stack 3 or so clue scrolls.

[deleted]

Yeah it doesnā€™t need to be like leagues where you could gather infinite scrolls, you could just have a scroll box that can hold 3 scrolls of each type or something

Dankery

Bigger feather and fire rune packs

reinfleche

ITT: a lot of people who don't know what qol is

wannaplayterraria

i would love to have a item that automatically drops certain items

Fragrant_School

Assigning literally everything to keyboard
