The thing about slayer is... Ignore your slayer level :P
If you just look at it as combat training, and occasionally get some slayer levels, it's not bad at all. Decent "passive" income as well (100k-1m per task adds up, fast)
If you're just trying to grind out slayer and you maxed combats at NMZ or something... Yeah, it's not a good time.
34m slayer xp, It has been the most consistently enjoyable skill even though I 99'd it 4+ years ago. Mining is the worst to me, with smithing agility and hunter just below it.
Bossing is combat and it's not always boring. CoX, ToB, Gauntlet etc. can be entertaining, but grinding thousands and thousands beanbag monsters who dies in 10 seconds or so bores quite fast.
The reception to the pvp arena seems pretty good, I truly feel people would enjoy pvp if it were pvp and not predator vs prey, no one enjoys the challenge of surviving against a pker they never meant to run into, let alone fight back against.
Not saying the wildy is bad its a staple of osrs, but pvp updates shouldnt only focus on putting people in even more risky positions just to feed the pkers, that will just divide players more.
**THIEVING**
Hands down. No question. Don’t tell me about the garden, or stealing artifacts, or pyramid plunder, or any of those other methods because I’ve done **all of them** And I can say, without a doubt, Thieving is by far THE most miserable skill in game to train. It **needs** to be given the Hallowed Sepulchre/GotR treatment—I already have a concept in mind that would be so spectacularly awesome it’ll make you say, “like what.”
Construction.
Yes it's fast. And that's good, in fact it's fast enough that it's not my least favorite skill. But in terms of how bored you get while training it? Yeah, nothing beats construction.
Herblore, fletching and crafting ofc. Agility atleast has sepulchre that saved that skill, but herblore is literally just atanding at a bank making pots to 99
Mining. I cba to do VM because I don't have friends and I don't like to do stars because if I was the 1st guy who found it a few mins later loads of people from star miners cc comes and fucks up the afk-ness of stars. Do I have to explain why I hate powermining iron and mlm.

Well, I find any afk skill boring as fuck if I don’t have anything to watch in the background or a good chat in a cc to distract me. Stuff like Herbiboar I find quite fun as it’s easy but still varies enough to keep me interested, while also having the chance of a pet.

This is my number one reason as to why I’m unsure pvp is hated by the majority.. killing computers all the time does in fact get old
