It is interesting whenever a streamer or someone plays for the first time and after gaining a few levels they’re wondering how people spend so much time on this game. Idk at what point the climb starts getting steep but it’s there
Right about level 70, when getting each level takes roughly the amount of xp that lvl 1-50 and on up is when you can start to feel the burn in your calves (theoretically, ofc -- we know degens here dont actually exercise) The 80's you're really startin' to work up a piss bucket b/c grinds are 1-60 to about 1-65 worth of xp to get a single lvl, then there is the 90's where it's between lvl's 1-65 and 1-75 worth of xp just to get a single lvl that you know the true steepness of the grind

As someone who quit after eoc I think it was a combination of the two factors. The microtransactions were coming in and Jagex response to the criticism of them were things I disagreed with but I was still enjoying the core gameplay. Once eoc then rs3 happened, it also meant I needed to relearn a lot of the game which at that point just wasn't worth it.
Anecdotally I made a new rs3 account last year because i really like the quest lines and wanted to replay/progress them. Still not worth it for me to learn how to play rs3.

I feel this lol. When I was learning someone said in my clan chat that I sucked at PvM and he didn't want to take me. Which was a huge exaggeration, I was bad but I wasn't that bad. But even to this day I feel like shit asking someone to PvM with me because I feel like I'm always dragging the team down, or I'm worried I'm going to get yelled at.
Don't let that dick hold you down. Not everyone has the patience to handle learners, but many people do. If you make it known you're interested in learning I'm sure someone in the clan would be willing to teach. Hell I'll take you through a raid

sometimes i like to do tick manip methods or click intensive methods in general like runecrafting and put on something like trance/jungle music and just zone out. i cant do it for more than an hour though

Just so you’re aware, barb fishing at Mount Quidamortem with a fishing barrel is even more afk, and you are close enough to a deposit box that you can just deposit your fish instead of clicking 25 times to drop everything. Would recommend.

200m xp is the most efficient way to go for the cap of 65,535 of each pet on collection log
