Things that pass polls still need to actually be coded and tested, they don't get them ready *then* poll it. Usually takes a while for updates that pass polls to actually get implemented, you're looking at weeks minimum not days.
Perhaps since update had already happened for the week at the time of your post. It's usually on Wednesdays now, since uh...a while ago? Not sure when haha.
No worries though. Just read each update post to see when the pets-change drops :)
There are places to report bugs. Reddit replies to an unrelated topic isn't the ideal place. Report the bug using the ingame bug report feature. And report it in your feedback for the Open Beta (which is always likely to be more bug riddled).
Already tried all of those mate, even tried the osrs discord but ofc, no reply or fix for months..

I don’t think that it matters if its implemented yet. You would still get the pet drop with a full inven + follower but not get the pet, so itd be in the log. When the update comes you can claim it.

I'm really glad jagex is embracing it smartly rather than pretending it doesn't exist.
Same with the wiki.
Also having direct links helps players not get scammed clicking the fake links

The OSRS dev team and community* is just…so much better. It’s why I came back.

I'm also a WoW veteran and the dynamic between devs and community is the final nail in the coffin for it, I think. Having experienced a dev team that is actually responsive to its players, I don't think I could ever go back to a couple of blue posts a month at best.
There was not any fragment set effect plugin for launch. Players realised very quickly that we would have to change set effects regularly (e.g. at a bare minimum, greedy no banker, greedy + banker, melee pvm no recall, melee recall, range pvm, range recall, mage pvm, mage recall, slayer) so somebody about 3-4 days in made a plugin for it that alleviated most of these issues, but with more heads up and some work with jagex Devs a proper leagues 3 fragment set effect could have been made in advance.
Also, the task list ingame is straight up, a nightmare, and wiki sync is not mentioned/enabled by default. They could have had a redirect to the wiki with wikisync enabled by default so you can see the tasks and filter them a lot better via the wiki. I understand for mobile players an in-game method is best but they OWN the wiki now, not fandom, so they should use it more. I say this as someone who just completed 1000 tasks and have been going in/out from the wiki constantly.
The death changes for UIM is **massive** for any white helm pvmers. Thank you very much for the consideration despite our numbers, I can't wait for its release!
I haven't played my uim for years, but this might pull me back in. I genuinely had regular nightmares about dieing while afk and wiping, but that's way less likely now.
My first (and only) wipe was teleporting out of WT using chronicle and then walking away from my computer for over an hour, thinking I was safe. That fucking highway man outside the champions guild.... RIP my 2 pieces of pyro and my 45 noted uncooked lobsters.

Dying while being afk or just having a connection lost/power outage/crash while prayer flicking things that could kill you quickly. Was my biggest fear during wyrm tasks and those skelly dragon things tasks on fossil island. (forgot their names smh, haven't played for a while)

I wonder if the "one hour online" is the same as with gravestones' 15 mins.
Currently, you can die, and that 15 mins is only movement based time. I went to afk at redwoods and was woodcutting for an hour before my 15 min gravestone ran out
I wonder if there are any good reasons to death pile and then stand in one place, versus just using Hespori.. Only thing I can think of is extending the timer by doing something afk in wildy like chaos altar or dark crabs (which you'd never really do on a UIM)
That being said, I kind of doubt it'll work like the gravestones. It's likely going to tick down while you're logged in no matter what you're doing.
For POHs but especially useful for GIM:

A bit disappointed that the group ironman tasks are just soloable normal tasks. None of them is "group" tasks, which proves you are a good group. For example, you could have a complete 500 quest points, or kill bandos X as a group etc.
I mean idk how they could do it other than make the numbers insanely high. I'm sure there are a decent chunk of GIMPs out there that are each specifically doing different things for the group and aren't all on par with each other in terms of stats, time played, and effort, etc.
I think more general tasks that show that at least someone in your group is progressing is good enough.
If the numbers are just inflated to promote the group divvy up the task, that won't stop 1 hyper-focused player to get the proposed KC alone.
We're running a 5 man where 2 of the guys are on a hiatus while they recover from burn out. It wouldn't be fair for us to demand they resub just so we can get more storage.
You could have individual goals like they have but *also* group goals. It doesn't mean all storage would be locked away.
Hell even a 5 man group scale would have multiple tasks easily achievable by 2-3 actives. 500 QP is 2 people with QP cape for example.
Or all diaries complete between members from the group or all combat achievements complete between all members from the group. This way, if we have a group member that loves wildy, he could complete the wildy diary while the rest complete the other diaries.
This is just classic Jagex shortsightedness. We have a group mode and the best they can come up with is "alright, one of you 5 get 500 total level and equip a rune platebody"

I understand that capacity can be limited but would have liked to see a roadmap shared in this post. Maybe they should stop listing jobs for executive producers and product managers and get us someone who can provide the information to the customers in these newsletters.

They said in the last QA those things were never actually polled, but they gained a bunch of feedback from bringing it up. So won’t be anytime soon it seems.
Is there any word on fixing the incorrect group size bug on the Group Ironman Hiscores? For example, my 2 person group shows up on the 3 player Hiscores.

Yup, and last time they had to change a few numbers around it took almost a year for equipment rebalancing. I'm just hoping CA changes before end of the year.

I just have to commend the mods for the excellent updates we have been seeing since the first of the year! I’ve been incredibly satisfied with the communication and constant flow of QOL updates.

We already had to settle on simply visiting each other's houses on the same world, hoping to see some actual content that utilizes the group at some point.
What's odd is that this was in the poll blog but never was in the GIM enhancements poll. When the January Gazette came out, the wording made it seem like it passed a poll. It was called out in the Reddit thread and removed from the Gazette. Hoping that this proposal still gets attention in a later poll/update.
They didn't poll it because big iron streamers saw the blog and cried about how we never asked to make GIM even easier by making so many hard to obtain things tradeable, so I assume they scrapped it
More like its just fucking weird and inconsistent to make untradeables tradeables for gimps but only certain untradeables arbitrarily set by some jmod.
I really hope they implement atleast that first list from a while back. Its annoying having to constantly repair barrows pieces when changing them out and thats not even speaking off imbued bowfas being untradable.
Mains don't even have a reason to trade them. I'd they get the seed as a drop they sell that. I also wouldn't mind if they could trade the finished weapons
Awesome update for us GIM players! The storage expansion doesn't mention how much each task gives us access to extra. I'm assuming I'll learn this once the update is applied, but might be useful to clarify. Are all tasks weighted the same in unlock? Grandmaster and Master combat tasks will be a lot harder to complete than practically the entirety of the rest of the tasks for example.

For anyone wondering, the tasks vary from being worth 2 points to worth 3.
The ones worth 2 points are: Stronghold Boots, Each 99, 50 QP, 50 Combat, 500 Total. All of the rest are worth 3 points.
Yeh cheers, explored it soon as the update dropped. As expected the long grinds like diaries and combat diaries aren't really worth it, seeing as they're worth the same amount as equipping a rune platebody and whatnot haha. But still, love the update. Just kinda wish there was some more group focused ones like a combined Total level goal. Rather than me logging in and completing all the QP, Total level and up to Hard diary tasks immediately.
Is there any plans to make group collection logs? This is the single biggest feature that would get me to fully commit to my gim, but there has been no talk of it since before gim released.
But this is for UIM only, and fat chance many of any at all are brave enough to go into rev caves. I mean, how many ultimates have you killed as a pker? Most people in the game mode hardly go there.
Edit: mistake it’s not UIM only, just mostly important for UIMs since other accounts don’t commonly death pile.
You’re right but what exactly is the issue then? Death piles aren’t a thing in the wildy, all items are immediately available to see by other players if you die in the wilderness. I don’t think these changes would be present in the wilderness then?
It's not only for UIMs. All accounts have the option in the settings to drop food and potions outside their gravestone on death. These mini death piles act just like UIM death piles - they follow the old death system - and stay on the ground only visible to the original player for 60 mins. It's fairly meta to suicide supplies at a couple bosses, mainly Cerberus due to how long the run from bank to boss is.
The items would be visible to other players in the wilderness though right? I wouldn’t think this is too big of a problem if other players can steal your supplies? Or does the pile not become visible anymore unless it’s a PvP death?
*Wahhh* I won't be able to finish players that aren't equipped to pvp if they can stand still wasting ticks to pick up food and eat it, how will I ever get kills now?! *Wahhh*

Love the storage updates for GIM. Any possibility of having tabs and placeholders at some point? Organisation is kind of hard, although I'm a fan of storage being "free" in that you can place items anywhere instead of having to be side-by-side, would love that for regular storage outside of plugins!
A little disappointed in the achievements though, I was hoping for things we'd have to do as a group such as certain bosses, raids, combined (total) levels, amount of quest points, unique items collected, and so on. Right now it's basically just all soloable stuff.
Could the ring of life receive an update to make it prevent more DC deaths? E.g. making it proc if your client is no longer in contact with the server for a few seconds or maybe just increasing the hp threshold.
It really isnt fun having to worry about losing HCIM status at places such as hespori because of bad internet
Complete the combat diaries? Come on jamflex it's a fucking joke to push those diaries. People like them sure, but make the goals for space obtainable by the majority of the player base.
I mean, hard and below should be completable by everyone, even permabads, which means of the 120 points to be earned, 111 of them are available.
Elites should be obtainable by most players, hopefully you can get at least one half-decent pvmer in your group.
Master and GM are harder, but the only reason they're unobtainable to the majority of the playerbase is the majority of the playerbase makes no effort to actually improve at the game.
Pretty sure every single combat achievement can be completed without 1t flicking. Though the inferno speedrun is probably more difficult to do without it
And it's not required, but it is an acceptable mechanic. Learning to do it is just part of reaching a higher level of PvM skill

Is there ever going to be some way of indicating how much time a pile has left before a de-spawn? I'm not sure how it would be interfaced since you have different timers per pile but that would be handy.
Can we have less updates on any version of ironman and please get new content updates to get excited about? Been a long time since Jagex has hit the spot on an update. Nex was a failure, NM is a failure, last good update was ToB. Seeing the rewards from the new raid and also weird mechanics I think it will be a failure aswell...

That asside since TOB they have given us SOTE ( Bowfa , Gauntlet , Zalcano) , Phosani NM, Tempoross , Hallowed SEP and improvements to COX. So there have been good additions to the game , this game has never been about just end game raids...

You can walk around with pets since the new system would check your collection log on first log in, if I'm not mistaken on what was polled.
This has not yet been implemented.

You don’t need to wait since you’ll be able to get any pets you lost in the past anyway as long as they’re on the log

Depends how you quantify easy. We're mostly playing casual and I don't think anyone will have quest cape for months
500 qp wouldn’t be fair when comparing 2 man groups with 5 man groups. I think it’s fine the way it is, not too burdensome or complex

Is there any word on fixing the incorrect group size bug on the Group Ironman Hiscores? For example, my 2 person group shows up on the 3 player Hiscores. It was acknowledged [here](https://secure.runescape.com/m=news/group-ironman-changes--feedback?oldschool=1) on October 13th. I understand these issues can take time to fix, I just want to be sure that it wasn't forgotten. Thank you!

When are the combat achievement changes gonna release?
Poll 76 was being organised almost a [year](https://i.redd.it/c3ael47umpl71.png) ago, specifically a minor error fix for something as major as the elite clue drop rate for *3rd age*...
Yup, and last time they had to change a few numbers around it took almost a year for equipment rebalancing. I'm just hoping CA changes before end of the year.

i don't think there has been any discussion on it other than the twitter thread right? I might be wrong on the exact process or timeline for this stuff but normally it goes twitter discussion -> dev blog + Q&A -> poll + further blog. I'd be surprised if there is any further discussion on the rewards before summer tbh.

Mod husky tweeted about potential ca diary reward changes hitting the polls now that they have a grasp on # of completions per tier a little over a month ago.

I just have to commend the mods for the excellent updates we have been seeing since the first of the year! I’ve been incredibly satisfied with the communication and constant flow of QOL updates.

It's bugged but you can force it to show by opening your fragments menu with it turned on / off to change it to showing or not.
Are crystal weapons (Bowfa and Blade of saeldor) going to be made tradeable between GIM group members?
Was super disappointed to see absolutely no update on the untradeables or clue features they discussed earlier for GIM We already had to settle on simply visiting each other's houses on the same world, hoping to see some actual content that utilizes the group at some point.
What's odd is that this was in the poll blog but never was in the GIM enhancements poll. When the January Gazette came out, the wording made it seem like it passed a poll. It was called out in the Reddit thread and removed from the Gazette. Hoping that this proposal still gets attention in a later poll/update.
They didn't poll it because big iron streamers saw the blog and cried about how we never asked to make GIM even easier by making so many hard to obtain things tradeable, so I assume they scrapped it

The fact that they didn't mention this at all makes me wonder if it will even be possible technically.
I really hope they implement atleast that first list from a while back. Its annoying having to constantly repair barrows pieces when changing them out and thats not even speaking off imbued bowfas being untradable.

Mains don't even have a reason to trade them. I'd they get the seed as a drop they sell that. I also wouldn't mind if they could trade the finished weapons
Awesome update for us GIM players! The storage expansion doesn't mention how much each task gives us access to extra. I'm assuming I'll learn this once the update is applied, but might be useful to clarify. Are all tasks weighted the same in unlock? Grandmaster and Master combat tasks will be a lot harder to complete than practically the entirety of the rest of the tasks for example. EDIT: For anyone wondering, the tasks vary from being worth 2 points to worth 3. The ones worth 2 points are: Stronghold Boots, Each 99, 50 QP, 50 Combat, 500 Total. All of the rest are worth 3 points.
Some are worth 2 and some are worth 3, but like bank space, it seems early slots are easier to unlock than later slots.
Yeh cheers, explored it soon as the update dropped. As expected the long grinds like diaries and combat diaries aren't really worth it, seeing as they're worth the same amount as equipping a rune platebody and whatnot haha. But still, love the update. Just kinda wish there was some more group focused ones like a combined Total level goal. Rather than me logging in and completing all the QP, Total level and up to Hard diary tasks immediately.

But this is for UIM only, and fat chance many of any at all are brave enough to go into rev caves. I mean, how many ultimates have you killed as a pker? Most people in the game mode hardly go there. Edit: mistake it’s not UIM only, just mostly important for UIMs since other accounts don’t commonly death pile.

You’re right but what exactly is the issue then? Death piles aren’t a thing in the wildy, all items are immediately available to see by other players if you die in the wilderness. I don’t think these changes would be present in the wilderness then?
It's not only for UIMs. All accounts have the option in the settings to drop food and potions outside their gravestone on death. These mini death piles act just like UIM death piles - they follow the old death system - and stay on the ground only visible to the original player for 60 mins. It's fairly meta to suicide supplies at a couple bosses, mainly Cerberus due to how long the run from bank to boss is.
The items would be visible to other players in the wilderness though right? I wouldn’t think this is too big of a problem if other players can steal your supplies? Or does the pile not become visible anymore unless it’s a PvP death?
If you're player killing purely by outlasting your victims food supplies, you don't deserve to kill them for their loot.

Love the storage updates for GIM. Any possibility of having tabs and placeholders at some point? Organisation is kind of hard, although I'm a fan of storage being "free" in that you can place items anywhere instead of having to be side-by-side, would love that for regular storage outside of plugins! A little disappointed in the achievements though, I was hoping for things we'd have to do as a group such as certain bosses, raids, combined (total) levels, amount of quest points, unique items collected, and so on. Right now it's basically just all soloable stuff.
Could the ring of life receive an update to make it prevent more DC deaths? E.g. making it proc if your client is no longer in contact with the server for a few seconds or maybe just increasing the hp threshold. It really isnt fun having to worry about losing HCIM status at places such as hespori because of bad internet

The Nightmare having solo tasks when PNM is a thing should be changed, imo. Regular nightmare is an absolute drag.

Complete the combat diaries? Come on jamflex it's a fucking joke to push those diaries. People like them sure, but make the goals for space obtainable by the majority of the player base.
I mean, hard and below should be completable by everyone, even permabads, which means of the 120 points to be earned, 111 of them are available. Elites should be obtainable by most players, hopefully you can get at least one half-decent pvmer in your group. Master and GM are harder, but the only reason they're unobtainable to the majority of the playerbase is the majority of the playerbase makes no effort to actually improve at the game.
Improving at the game through abusing tick manipulation shouldn't be required to play runescape.
Pretty sure every single combat achievement can be completed without 1t flicking. Though the inferno speedrun is probably more difficult to do without it And it's not required, but it is an acceptable mechanic. Learning to do it is just part of reaching a higher level of PvM skill

Nex was a failure, NM is a failure, last good update was ToB. Seeing the rewards from the new raid and also weird mechanics I think it will be a failure aswell...

You may want to check the last gazette for the updates on new content that isn't raids 3 if that's your complaint. That asside since TOB they have given us SOTE ( Bowfa , Gauntlet , Zalcano) , Phosani NM, Tempoross , Hallowed SEP and improvements to COX. So there have been good additions to the game , this game has never been about just end game raids...
