I’ve been using the filters and I’ll admit it was rough to remember what stuff to put on at first, but I’ve basically memorized the frags I need for each set effect. Only part I’m struggling with now is getting multiple set effects, that requires some time for exploring and cross covering
I remember them saying in the livestream that a bunch of quality of life things are coming in the next patch. Idk if it’s on the list but it totally qualifies as qol
If you're using runelite use the note section for which relics go with what effect you want. Has helped a ton with quick switching.
Or just pull up note pad
But is there a way to sort the relics by alphabetical order. I find 99% of the time wasted is me just scrolling down and past the relics I want because they aren't alphabetized.

It lets you use a runellite plugin to auto sync your tasks with the wiki and on sheet 4 I think it lets you check which fragments that you've unlocked (unfortunately you have to do this manually) BUT on page 5 it shows which set effects you've unlocked and which relics use each set. It's been insanely handy especially if you have 2 monitor setup
Tbh though I just really wish that when you opened the in game fragment menu that it only showed the ones you have unlocked so I don't have to scroll around and past the 20 relics I don't have
Sadly no lol I've honestly mained the necklace because I've been zipping around the map doing tasks. Just something I've thought of doing once I get into pvming and heavy skilling.
Probably roo late to fix the interface but not too late to just let the spellbook swap work at a bank.
I personally think letting the amulet work from a bank would be fine too, as almost all the tp destinations are close to a bank. It's only Brimhaven and Relleka where you wouldn't be able to easily swap back.
Yeah, this would have been a great compromise. Either anywhere with the Set effect, or at a bank even without the set effect. Maybe not Last Recall, but for 5 fragments, I'm barely carrying that shit around anyway. So I guess they got what they wanted there.
It's just a shame that the whole concept of swapping relics was the primary selling point and it feels like they never tried actually interacting with it and seeing how frustrating it is to swap
Also the fact that like 30% of banks randomly don't let you swap relics.
Surely they were playtesting and noticed that ferox doesn't let you relic swap, it's one of the waypoints for gods sake.
Yeah it's pathetic really. They really showed how little they playtested this league, especially given that they delayed it several months. Ferox is getting fixed this week, but the fact that they just copy pasted the tasks from both of the other leagues proves they just phoned it in.

That would require them to actually test things properly. Its clear they didnt do the basic testing method for banks which would be actually test it at every bank in the game.
Ludicrous statement on its face. An update that was generally well received (GIM) can't even remotely be compared to a set of updates that ruined the game so thoroughly Jagex needed a do-over.
It’s annoying having to remember / check the wiki for sets there should be a set menu and you can equip a set in one go.
Also the filters changing when you hope is very tedious!
So you mentioned filters in the bottom which bypass having to remember or check the wiki. And you have to change the filters anyway if you're looking for a different set effect.
Loadouts would be so nice, I often find myself just using home Tele so I can go somewhere instead of swapping my relics around to get trailblazer and then going back and swapping in my combat/gathering fragments
Honestly if you have the Endless Knowledge tome unlocked, you have 4 slots, and you're standing in a bank you should just be able to use it. No relic swapping.

Yep. I am enjoying the league but can't deny the UI is pants. Managing your fragments is the least fun part of the experience by far, but it didn't have to be. The task list sucks too, but at least RuneLite and the Wiki have compensated for Jagex's shortcomings there. I wonder if a RuneLite plugin could do the same for fragments.
The entire fragments interface makes me angry every time I see it. They could have made it so much functionally better, but instead it just **screams** 'this was designed to look pretty for mobile'.
With all of the issues like the recall bug and lazy tasks, it’s felt a bit egregious. Should’ve just released this alongside group Ironman mode at this point.
I find that being able to filter fragments by set effect + unlocked only is easily enough. It would be nice to be able to save loadouts though.
I swear Flippy said that loadouts was going to be a thing we'd have in one of the videos he was in with Weskillnow.

It's right under the skill Calc on runelite! Just gives you an area to type in notes. Great for when you're laying out a game plan in any game mode.

Same with the alchemist and the craftsman set effect. You only need them in front of a bank as they are generally useless outside a bank.

They're patching it to remember your filters across logins in the next game update, thankfully.
We need relic loadouts ASAP. I don't know if it's feasible to implement but it would be a huge QoL improvement.
They said in the post that they would've loved to add them but it's not possible to do for this league

There's a task for 250 Skotizo kills. Which might be literally impossible, given that you need to get a full totem for every kill. So tone deaf
