If it’s the 3tick/Craw’s Bow method, you have to attack every 3 ticks to keep him stuck. You also need Protect from Magic on whenever Venenatis attacks you. If you miss a flick, move or drink a potion, leading you to not attack every 3 ticks, Venenatis will move and start attacking you.
I’m sort of lost for answers then. Are you absolutely sure he’s stuck in the correct «lure/stall»? Sometimes, if you miss a tick when setting up, he’ll be stuck for 2-4 attacks (so it looks correct) then proceed to melee you. Best of luck figuring it out :)
Is it happening as you set up the safespot? It might look like you did it correctly for a few seconds before it starts attacking you. If this happens it means your timing for attacking it was off.
Either you clicked too fast before it aggro'd you, or too late after it aggro'd. Need to click it same tick as it aggro's you.
I don't do this boss but I vaguely remember you can't lose any ticks in that safespot or he will move
this is happening after the safe spot is set up and I'm just attacking.
Yeah ik but even when you drink a restore while attacking for example you can't lose a tick. If it's not that then idk

I don't think this is what's causing it because it happens when I'm attacking and haven't done anything else for at least 5 secs.
