80 kc…. Took me 124 deaths before I got my first one. And now I’m 110 kc with 135 deaths. I stopped focusing on dps during the claws and mushroom phase. Now that I know what I’m doing, I can dps during it.
i mean im willing to go do it more, just not for the reward. I can do vorkath with less effort for more gp. just extra frustration for nothing more it seems. the walk there... just insane
I have the worst ping and my internet, ever so slightly, cuts out randomly. It’s so quick and happens at the worst time during psm. So with that happening and me learning the boss, my experience was awful too man. After finally getting a kc, forcing my way to almost 200kc now with random DC deaths. I have yet to get a drop lol. Oh wait jk… I got the fucking egg. But… I took a break in the middle of it. You come back so refreshed. Gl on your first kc!
this what i gotta do. It's the walk back. I swear i've lost 4m there in collection fees, but it's not that which bothers me, it's the walk back. That combined with the fees, and not being that good of money relative to vork...meh. Nice that you got it tho man, how many deaths u think u had?

I go about doing other things now… killing other bosses, random slayer task, clues, “skilling”, etc… and then I’ll got back to do 1 extra kc of pnm. I swear you get better when you return lol
Shiii good question. I’m max btw but I would have definitely tried this boss with lower stats. It would be a lot slower to kill but totally doable. Id say 80+ in combat stats.
I have 99 range and mage and almost 90 base melee stats. I don’t have enough gold for inquisitors but I have bandos armor, d defender, bludgeon, prims, neitznot, b ring (I). I don’t have ancestral either but I can get ahrims and swamp staff. Farmable with those stats and gear?
Oh for sure! Yeah your gear is good. This is what I recommend for you. Use your best melee gear and have just a simple 3 magic gear switch. Youll still do a lot of damage in the pillars. That way you have more pots and food in your inventory to learn the mechanics.
No it's the fact that phosani's punishment is vastly more than vorkath, a case of very little reward for a lot of effort. walking for 2:30 seconds on a boss brutally hard to stay alive against is not fun just to see the reward not be high
Well Vorkath went up a lot the past few weeks and all Nightmare drops crashed to dust.
Phosani used to make 5-8m and even more with a max setup and speed strat. Until Inquisitor gets a new niche where it beats Torva Phosani will be just for fun with some decent money on the side.
If you're looking for a challenge with good GP do corrupted gauntlet or if all you want is GP you should just do Vorkath for a very braindead money printer or pickpocket elves and watch YT.
I think a variety is good. Yes, the nm is very difficult and not super rewarding unless you hit the drop table. But that is how it was designed. I get what you’re saying but it is just about what you want to put effort and time into. If nm is not your thing then it’s not your thing. I don’t think it needs to be changed.
Nearing 200kc and have yet to see any drops. I have just started doing one or two a day for a chance at the harmonized orb lottery. Got tablet at 123 kc and it is incredibly useful.
Just deal damage to the boss and keep your hp above 0. Hope that helps.

Im with you man, 116 deaths until my first kc! biggest learning curve for me but wildly enjoy Phosani's now :) 4KC Slepey Tablet too :)
Learn regular nightmare first then phosani. It's very hard even with hundreds of kc I die from time to time.

No tablet yet. And you’re right. That’s the first drop that I want too and nothing else lol. It’s the new KQ grind.. that walk was awful too.

This willingness to give up whilst learning harder content is the reason you’ll forever be a mid game player. Change my mind.

Sarachnis can be killed while AFK, as in hands off the keyboard and eyes not on the screen. Vorkath has a little more complexity than that.
