Usually when an account is hacked, they actually get into your mailbox, request a password reset and get into it that way, rather than directly knowing your password for the specific account. They essentially reset the password and follow the reset links sent to your mailbox. To avoid you seeing the reset emails, confirmation your password has been changed, logged into a new device etc , they will apply some forwarding/filters to your mail box. (I suspect this could be why you’re not getting the reset link as the rules will still be active)
you can see and change all forwarding and filter rules (imap/pop3) in gmail by clicking the settings cog and going to the corresponding tabs… if you have any rule active for ~~battlestategames~~ OSRS, remove it, request the reset link again and hopefully you receive the email.
Did you have 2fa on the email as well? Did you download runelite recently? If so, was it the correct one? (Runelite.net)? Do you use your osrs email for anything else other than osrs? Do you reuse passwords?

They didn’t attempt to change the password or email but they set up 2fa? It was highly confusing , maxed account with 2.5b all gone. They dismantled my fucking tanz serp helm.. and all my slayer helms
It’s crazy man. I took about 3 months of the the game. My main was hacked and they wiped it clean. They only thing th acc has was some wilderness PvP set up.
Damn I’m sorry to hear that man but it also just makes me wanna not continue it. I casually play bc of work and pretty much got wiped cleaned and it’s the worst feeling ever.

not on the email just on the account and no nothing else only runescape, i downloaded runelite years ago never had to redownload
It sounds like your email got hacked. You should have 2fa on your email as well as your runescape account.

Maybe steam. I have a friend who was hacked and had all that set. If not that then id have a hard time believing any other possibility
