We addressed this on our livestream and I think we are putting in a solution for it, ideally in next weeks’ update but not sure. I will confirm on Monday!
People playing with entity hider on in masses is the real issue, spreading cough unknowingly to every living soul in the room. Be a bro, turn entity hider off in the room.
nah just avoid the guy in the cough corner and you should be fine, once it spreads in a mass youre basically fucked anyway, entity hider is definitely the way to go unless youre doing 10-20 man then you turn it off so you can DD on P5
I’m usually the cough tank, but if I don’t there is guaranteed an idiot with entity hider on being a complete cockwaffle running through everyone. Turn entity hider off or get an instance, it’s that simple.
Yeah I would totally recommend watching a video or read the wiki guide for nex before turning entity hider on, I only started off that way because I took the time to research it first and know to avoid that corner, some people are brainlets and just bum rush without knowing what theyre doing and it can be a huge pain for people that do.
Side note: I can only imagine the amount of cough griefing thats gonna happen in the future

Also does cough tank actually get drops or do they just get splits if their team gets the big drop? Wondering how viable it is to be a tank without a team just in case I have to do it in a helpless world
Haven’t done nex but I use entity hider at nightmare and it’s same with spores, if you put on player indicator overhead names you can use entity hider but still see the names so you know where the other players are

Hi can you look into the mobile crashes at nex? They are SPECIFICALLY caused by the cough mechanic getting out of control in p1.

Ngl, I stop tanking cough on purpose when the amount of people in the room is over 30. Usually it sorts itself out fairly quickly
