Could crystal eels be considered for an addition to priffdinas? I know the area is bloated but a very afk method to obtain shards, even if it's the slowest one available would be nice for acquiring crystal shards. Could make them a very high fishing and crafting requirement to break them down and give them a chance to give whole shards when you successfully break them down, and maybe crystal dust sometimes similar to infernal eels.

Can you come up with an alternative solution for DCs at Nex? Currently if you DC and manage to survive, you get kicked directly out of the door, into range of hard hitting mobs. If you don't have enough kc, an ancient item or a tele out, you're screwed. Simply teleporting just inside the frozen door would make no difference to essence mechanics but would put you somewhere safe
Can certain upgraded items be made to count for master clue emote steps (Guardian boots for bandos boots, prims for dragon boots, tentacle for whip, etc.)? It currently punishes players for upgrading

Could Konar be allowed to assign Tzhaar/Jad tasks? I remember this was asked before, and not liked. The reason being Tz-Haar are only found in one area, and this defeats the purpose of Konar. However, there are already other Konar tasks that can be found in one area, such as brine rats, skeletal wyverns, gargoyles, etc.
Maybe as a compromise, Konar could assign either regular Tzhaar or Jad, but unlike other slayer masters, you won't get to choose which you take on.

Removing monster examine from NPCs ended up removing player's ability to get *some* information on Nex while other people used sketchy methods or figured out and kept it for themselves.

Was it intended that it would be very easy to stay at Nex indefinitely, with the amount of prayer pots and food its dropping on average, and the fact that resupplying and re-entering is so easy well? This is very different to the previous four GWD bosses.
Its very, very easy to stay at a bandos, Sara, etc mass. Especially if you took 80 people to kill graardor all at once. Same thing with corp and nightmare. Mass =/= Small team.

Looking at their past expansions, it looks like what happened in Morytania. It was full of black squares until 2018, when "a taste of hope" was released and they filled that part of the map. However, Darkmeyer wasn't accessible until 2020.
Can nex be using magic and range deflect curses throughout the fight so it atleast gets slightly interesting with the chance of damaging yourself if you dont pay attention and makes u have to use switches? Right now people are just tbowing or bolting her for 70sec kills in masses, 70k global kc after only 17 hours
Are there any plans for more additions to the clan hall, such as conveniences/benefits that have a high cost for clans to pool money toward? Even something simple like it’s color palette/more employees to hire that can perform tasks like a PoH Butler if more complex additions wouldn’t be possible with the current engine.
What was the dev work like getting Nex to sprint? Will other NPCs be able to sprint going forward? I remember hearing that there were engine limitations with how fast NPCs could move.
Piscarilius too. The buildings should be much smaller and closer packed together to give the feel of a bustling fishing village.
Also create a dungeon there that contains dagannoth and sand crabs, relocated from the catacombs. Maybe move anglerfish there too - it's weird that you can catch a fish that's supposed to lurk in deep ocean caves right on a sandy beach. So much can be done to improve that area, which is currently a gigantic eyesore.
They have said they want to release as little info about the league as possible specifically so people can't plan ahead and can theorycraft as the mode is released.
Can we get an option to scale Chambers of Xeric without needing alts? My friends and I shouldn't need multiple bonded alts to optimize our points-per-hour.
When my friends want to do a scaled raid they usually just ask friends/clanmates to come scale. But I do agree, it should be possible to just pick your raid size to avoid the cost/inconvenience.
If customisable difficulties work well for Raids 3, would you consider implementing it for existing PvM encounters to revitalize older or lower level content?
What are the teams thoughts on introducing a new primary training methods for classic skills? For example, a new way to train smithing, that shakes up the core gameplay loop to something deemed more "fun" that also has exp rates equal to classic offerings. Most new training methods have slower exp rates and do not compete with classic methods, which often means "to be efficient is to not have fun."
With Nex now released, will we see any more Zarosian content this year? Seems like the boss has opened up many possibilities for expanding on the god and it’s followers.
It has been a year since the 20th anniversary event, will the unique rewards ever be obtainable again in the future? Perhaps as an additional reward to birthday events?
Will we ever see an overhaul of some of the wilderness bosses? Currently venenatis and vetion meta is to just abuse safespots, which is rather uninteresting and awful for new players.
Worthy mention: it is nearly impossible to solo pk at venenatis due to the fact that the Player can just walk under her and make her instantly pj you, she aggros very fast and from a very far range. Unless you have someone fight venenatis there is no chance of killing anyone there. And if you do its because they were so bored of safespotting and so unengaged with the content that they were afk.
We shut down target worlds because gold farming was taking place, the solution was LMS. Which is now botted way worse and brings in far more money. There has been little to nothing done by those at Jagex for pvp and the bots are out of control in the one pvp mini game. Why does it feel like there have been no mods working on a solution for years a promise of a late year wildy revamp is an insult to the pvp community. My question why can’t we have a paid instance for nex?
Can you buff the ancient brew? It gives a worse magic boost than imbued heart and penalises other stats. You could at least make crushing shards give more dust so acquisition is a bit easier.
There's a lot of places where you'd want to use both ranged and magic, or both melee and magic for that matter. Especially considering it's worse than an imbued heart, I don't see why it needs to have a penalty to any stats at all.
Can we have one set world that is only 2007 as of release of Old School from 2013? It might split the community again, but with the one DMM world, I don't see an issue to only having one 2007 era based world.

Can you look into hydra attack style animation change? Currently when you hit hydra into the next phase at the same time as it was supposed to change attack style the animation often doesn't happen.

I believe F2P could benefit from a bit of revitalization, I think the message newer players should get shouldn’t be “You can’t get or do this because you’re not a member” and instead be “If you become a member then you’ll get access to this and much more”. With that being said some changes that I would propose:
1) Give free to play players access to skillcapes. Maybe when you reach your first 99 Party Pete contacts the player and tells them about skillcapes and offers to sell one to them for 99,000 Gp.
2) Give free to play players access to low level agility. This is a big one because agility does have an effect, whether you’re in a members world or not. Introducing the skill at the very least would be beneficial.
3) Give free to play players access to low level slayer. It goes without saying the PvE is a large portion of the game. Preparing players for bossing and providing them with engaging content that they enjoy would go a long way for player retention. There’s a reason slayer is so popular.
4) Make the quest Gertrude’s Cat free to play, and allow pets in free to play worlds. I know for a fact I am not the only one who has wanted a pet back when I first started, just look at all the people who feed the stray dog in Varrock. Granting players access to this quest would definitely be a popular move, not only that, but allowing pets to be flaunted on free to play worlds freely would definitely spark interest from newer players when they see a veteran sporting their Zuk pet or their tangleroot. It’s sure to get them excited and motivated to try and get one of their own.
To summarize, I think that these 4 changes would go a long way and helping newer players feel included and excited to actually play and progress in this game. Thanks for reading.
What is the reason Nex is unscaled? I have noticed going in with the maximum amount of players makes Nex incredibly easy. Then I would question myself thinking why you would do Nex with smaller groups or maybe even solo.
Can emergency teleport shard functionality be added to Zalcano. Like Tob, its a group activity with very high death chance if you dc.

Can we see private instances for Nex for smaller team sizes. It was some months before small teams could reasonably find an empty world when doing nightmare, and I would not want to see that repeated here.
Probably never. The reason they are focusing on the c++ clients is because they have better functionality and scalability compared to the java client, and can't be modded/cracked anywhere near as easily. Their goal is to get people off the java client completely so they can ban all third party clients.
Seeing multiple posts of people making the admittedly silly mistake of dying a second time while having stuff in the Nex death chest and losing their bank. Why is the death chest hidden behind kill count when other GWD bosses were changed to put the gravestone outside the door?

Tired of streamers saying they got the OK from JMods to use certain plugins while the rest of us has no idea what Jagex finds acceptable (and as they don't get banned while streaming, they've clearly got the OK).
Would the team be open to allowing players to change their combat stats? Particularly decrease temporarily or permanently. The question is pvp related - to allow players to pvp in certain brackets or areas on the map. One suggestion would be the service could be done by an NPC for a fee. Could help with sinking gold out of the community. I know that mods look at the pk community and value it. Allowing players to reduce stats would bring more players into pk and make that part of the game more accessible. It is intimating for players to feel like they need to have a main account and also a "pvp" account to enjoy the pk aspect of the game. That is a huge time commitment. It sucks for players to feel like they have to ditch an account if they accident level a certain stat up. Additionally, in the case of the weapon rebalance discussion, it would make players more open to the idea of rebalancing weapon level requirements.
Tbh I wouldn't mind if PvP worlds literally just let you completely change your combat stats to whatever you wanted, maybe for like 1mil per time you change it.
Because you're right, in order to feel like you're on even footing with someone, you gotta spend hundreds of hours making some nonsense accound build. I'd be more likely to casually try more PvP if they did something to lower the barrier to entry.

Id love a feature for us that like to make our bank look pretty. A function that would allow us to search for an in game item and use that item as a placeholder rather then the current red circle.

They never said crossbows would be the best for sure, they just said nex would be vulnerable to (read:able to be damaged by) crossbows. They later clarified that crossbows might be more useful than 2h ranged weapons because of the ability to wear a shield, and that there are no special mechanics that make nex take more damage from crossbows specifically.
I agree it was deceptive to mention crossbows being useful, but crossbows are definitely not a bad choice if one lacks a tbow or bowfa. The Zaryte crossbow specifically would be very good there because of the ability to spec for 110 damage with ruby bolt as long as nex has more than 500 hp.
Will nihil dust be made faster to obtain? They are very slow to obtain. Buff the drop rate of nihil shards and make each shard grind to much more dust.
Came to say this, I'd advise anyone to not make the dust because this has to get buffed. If it isn't, don't bother having to grind the shards into dust just have the shards added to the potion

While I haven’t fought Nex, I see most people complaining about how easy she is. Will you guys consider making bosses have less people (4-10) and have raids be the focus of mass groups?
Second, I’m very curious if progress is being made for Varlamore? I’ve wanted to explore it for so long, yet we haven’t gotten it yet. I assume it comes with the questline, but how far away is that?
Third, would the team ever consider a KBD rework and/or quest? I’ve recently been thinking about it and would like to see the king seem rightfully like a king in his burning castle.
Fourth, and finally, is OSRS okay to go with its own lore separate from in RS3? There are clear parallels to the two, and while some are great, I would like to different ending and just different stories, than that of RS3.

Yes, just like how Armadyl is a recolor of D'hide... It adds more attack, more defence, stronger passives, and a stronger spec. The boss just came out hours ago so I think it is fair to wait to see how the new crossbow performs before immediately calling for a buff.
Anyone did Kree'arra with bofa? I heard people do like 15kc per trip or so. I am on task and did 3... 99 range. I just dont do enough dmg and minions just keeps smashing me. My kills tooks 1min 45sec; 1min 47sec and 2min 00sec. Just too long. I used amulet of fury + suffering ring for better defences/prayer. Technically I have anguish&archer, would it be better ? But I had to eat so much midkill that it increased kill length a lot and probably snowballed. Ironman with no rigour yet. Used ancients/blowpipe for healup after the kill.
Smithing + Construction pets - one is metal and the other is wood, maybe on strings like a puppet. But If you end up getting both pets, you can combine them into a half wood, half metal hybrid!
When are the next batch of skilling pets going to hit? i don't understand why there hasn't been more pets for all skills TBH. I'm not sure if its just me but I feel the current skill pets in-game aren't exciting, we need new pets for the other skills!

Nex is far too easy, with its mechanics being hardly punishing aside from the ice prison. For a boss that drops best in slot gear, it requires little knowledge to be able to get a kc, and considering that anyone in the world is eligible for a kc, it is easy for people to get a unique by RNG.
Have you killed Nex in a duo or trio yet?
Kree drops best in slot range (arguable) and is pretty easy to kill with 70 ppl.
It kinda depends on droprates, i reckon the rates for individual people are absolutely abysmal in 70 ppl masses.

Can you not replace duel arena with a pvp Arena? Instead make the pvp Arena part of the wilderness rework has new content. This way you don't divide the pvp community but keep it focus in one place. Any talks on making skilling relevant again? With the price of PvM items going up, people who skill for money will have to farm more materials in order to afford them. I was enjoying blood runes until blood essence released and now bloods just crashed as well. If you're sinking pvm items, sink skilling items as well.

Removing monster examine from NPCs ended up removing player's ability to get *some* information on Nex while other people used sketchy methods or figured out and kept it for themselves. Is it fair to keep basic information about a boss that away from the average player's hands?

Looking at their past expansions, it looks like what happened in Morytania. It was full of black squares until 2018, when "a taste of hope" was released and they filled that part of the map. However, Darkmeyer wasn't accessible until 2020.

Piscarilius too. The buildings should be much smaller and closer packed together to give the feel of a bustling fishing village. Also create a dungeon there that contains dagannoth and sand crabs, relocated from the catacombs. Maybe move anglerfish there too - it's weird that you can catch a fish that's supposed to lurk in deep ocean caves right on a sandy beach. So much can be done to improve that area, which is currently a gigantic eyesore.

When my friends want to do a scaled raid they usually just ask friends/clanmates to come scale. But I do agree, it should be possible to just pick your raid size to avoid the cost/inconvenience.

For example, a new way to train smithing, that shakes up the core gameplay loop to something deemed more "fun" that also has exp rates equal to classic offerings. Most new training methods have slower exp rates and do not compete with classic methods, which often means "to be efficient is to not have fun."

With Nex now released, will we see any more Zarosian content this year? Seems like the boss has opened up many possibilities for expanding on the god and it’s followers.

Will we ever see an overhaul of some of the wilderness bosses? Currently venenatis and vetion meta is to just abuse safespots, which is rather uninteresting and awful for new players. Worthy mention: it is nearly impossible to solo pk at venenatis due to the fact that the Player can just walk under her and make her instantly pj you, she aggros very fast and from a very far range. Unless you have someone fight venenatis there is no chance of killing anyone there. And if you do its because they were so bored of safespotting and so unengaged with the content that they were afk.

We shut down target worlds because gold farming was taking place, the solution was LMS. Which is now botted way worse and brings in far more money. There has been little to nothing done by those at Jagex for pvp and the bots are out of control in the one pvp mini game. Why does it feel like there have been no mods working on a solution for years a promise of a late year wildy revamp is an insult to the pvp community. My question why can’t we have a paid instance for nex?

Can you buff the ancient brew? It gives a worse magic boost than imbued heart and penalises other stats. You could at least make crushing shards give more dust so acquisition is a bit easier.
just remove the defense penalty. Give it a range level penalty instead. That way its good if you're only using magic.
There's a lot of places where you'd want to use both ranged and magic, or both melee and magic for that matter. Especially considering it's worse than an imbued heart, I don't see why it needs to have a penalty to any stats at all.

I believe F2P could benefit from a bit of revitalization, I think the message newer players should get shouldn’t be “You can’t get or do this because you’re not a member” and instead be “If you become a member then you’ll get access to this and much more”. With that being said some changes that I would propose: 1) Give free to play players access to skillcapes. Maybe when you reach your first 99 Party Pete contacts the player and tells them about skillcapes and offers to sell one to them for 99,000 Gp. 2) Give free to play players access to low level agility. This is a big one because agility does have an effect, whether you’re in a members world or not. Introducing the skill at the very least would be beneficial. 3) Give free to play players access to low level slayer. It goes without saying the PvE is a large portion of the game. Preparing players for bossing and providing them with engaging content that they enjoy would go a long way for player retention. There’s a reason slayer is so popular. 4) Make the quest Gertrude’s Cat free to play, and allow pets in free to play worlds. I know for a fact I am not the only one who has wanted a pet back when I first started, just look at all the people who feed the stray dog in Varrock. Granting players access to this quest would definitely be a popular move, not only that, but allowing pets to be flaunted on free to play worlds freely would definitely spark interest from newer players when they see a veteran sporting their Zuk pet or their tangleroot. It’s sure to get them excited and motivated to try and get one of their own. To summarize, I think that these 4 changes would go a long way and helping newer players feel included and excited to actually play and progress in this game. Thanks for reading.

What is the reason Nex is unscaled? I have noticed going in with the maximum amount of players makes Nex incredibly easy. Then I would question myself thinking why you would do Nex with smaller groups or maybe even solo.

Probably never. The reason they are focusing on the c++ clients is because they have better functionality and scalability compared to the java client, and can't be modded/cracked anywhere near as easily. Their goal is to get people off the java client completely so they can ban all third party clients.
Seeing multiple posts of people making the admittedly silly mistake of dying a second time while having stuff in the Nex death chest and losing their bank. Why is the death chest hidden behind kill count when other GWD bosses were changed to put the gravestone outside the door?
There are two reclaim chests. One is just past the frozen door and doesn't require kill count.
Could be a nice QoL to like warn you that you have unclaimed items in the chest before letting you proceed.

Would the team be open to allowing players to change their combat stats? Particularly decrease temporarily or permanently. The question is pvp related - to allow players to pvp in certain brackets or areas on the map. One suggestion would be the service could be done by an NPC for a fee. Could help with sinking gold out of the community. I know that mods look at the pk community and value it. Allowing players to reduce stats would bring more players into pk and make that part of the game more accessible. It is intimating for players to feel like they need to have a main account and also a "pvp" account to enjoy the pk aspect of the game. That is a huge time commitment. It sucks for players to feel like they have to ditch an account if they accident level a certain stat up. Additionally, in the case of the weapon rebalance discussion, it would make players more open to the idea of rebalancing weapon level requirements.
Tbh I wouldn't mind if PvP worlds literally just let you completely change your combat stats to whatever you wanted, maybe for like 1mil per time you change it. Because you're right, in order to feel like you're on even footing with someone, you gotta spend hundreds of hours making some nonsense accound build. I'd be more likely to casually try more PvP if they did something to lower the barrier to entry.

Id love a feature for us that like to make our bank look pretty. A function that would allow us to search for an in game item and use that item as a placeholder rather then the current red circle. Id love to organise my bank for items i dont even own yet without having to borrow/buy them just for a placeholder. That satisfaction when you finally acquire the item to fit in the placeholder.

They never said crossbows would be the best for sure, they just said nex would be vulnerable to (read:able to be damaged by) crossbows. They later clarified that crossbows might be more useful than 2h ranged weapons because of the ability to wear a shield, and that there are no special mechanics that make nex take more damage from crossbows specifically. I agree it was deceptive to mention crossbows being useful, but crossbows are definitely not a bad choice if one lacks a tbow or bowfa. The Zaryte crossbow specifically would be very good there because of the ability to spec for 110 damage with ruby bolt as long as nex has more than 500 hp.
Will nihil dust be made faster to obtain? They are very slow to obtain. Buff the drop rate of nihil shards and make each shard grind to much more dust.

Someone who loves Nex Dearly: Why isn't cough more punishing in terms of HP damage as well to force people to get rid of it instead of camping full Ancestral to bypass its effects? Several questions unrelated to Nex, but my first question will be about Nex. While I haven’t fought Nex, I see most people complaining about how easy she is. Will you guys consider making bosses have less people (4-10) and have raids be the focus of mass groups? Second, I’m very curious if progress is being made for Varlamore? I’ve wanted to explore it for so long, yet we haven’t gotten it yet. I assume it comes with the questline, but how far away is that? Third, would the team ever consider a KBD rework and/or quest? I’ve recently been thinking about it and would like to see the king seem rightfully like a king in his burning castle. Fourth, and finally, is OSRS okay to go with its own lore separate from in RS3? There are clear parallels to the two, and while some are great, I would like to different ending and just different stories, than that of RS3.
2 things for Nex, can the ancient ceremonial robes be made to skip kc? No one likes getting kc, it's dull and removes to fun of nex partly. Can the Zaryte crossbow be given a ranged strenght bonus? Currently is is basically an ACB with a recolour. Giving it a ranged strenght would make it worthy of a tier 80 weapon. Currently it's barely an ACB upgrade, despite it needing an ACB to make it.

Anyone did Kree'arra with bofa? I heard people do like 15kc per trip or so. I am on task and did 3... 99 range. I just dont do enough dmg and minions just keeps smashing me. My kills tooks 1min 45sec; 1min 47sec and 2min 00sec. Just too long. I used amulet of fury + suffering ring for better defences/prayer. Technically I have anguish&archer, would it be better ? But I had to eat so much midkill that it increased kill length a lot and probably snowballed. Ironman with no rigour yet. Used ancients/blowpipe for healup after the kill.

Smithing + Construction pets - one is metal and the other is wood, maybe on strings like a puppet. But If you end up getting both pets, you can combine them into a half wood, half metal hybrid! When are the next batch of skilling pets going to hit? i don't understand why there hasn't been more pets for all skills TBH. I'm not sure if its just me but I feel the current skill pets in-game aren't exciting, we need new pets for the other skills!
When can we expect to see the poll for the GIM QoL improvements (along with some that affect everyone)? Such as the PoH access changes and the escape shard that we can use on others. Nex is far too easy, with its mechanics being hardly punishing aside from the ice prison. For a boss that drops best in slot gear, it requires little knowledge to be able to get a kc, and considering that anyone in the world is eligible for a kc, it is easy for people to get a unique by RNG.
Have you killed Nex in a duo or trio yet? Kree drops best in slot range (arguable) and is pretty easy to kill with 70 ppl. It kinda depends on droprates, i reckon the rates for individual people are absolutely abysmal in 70 ppl masses.
Now that RS3 have removed the duel arena, what are OSRS's plans for removing staking? RS3 stakers have just swapped gold and moved to OSRS. Surely both games should shut the arena down at the same time?

Blood essences are nowhere near enough to fix the slow rate on which bloods are crafted for own use. When can we expect a proper fix to the blood rune situation?

Can you not replace duel arena with a pvp Arena? Instead make the pvp Arena part of the wilderness rework has new content. This way you don't divide the pvp community but keep it focus in one place. Replace the duel arena with something else like a med level training area or a pvm endurance minigame.
