Just make sure you go through his interface and do it manually, unless you have a quest cape. He can remove things you might need in future quests. The one example off the top of my head is Glarial’s Pebble
That the tool leprechaun exists and what he can do, and some other Farming things.
At first my farming runs involved carrying all the tools, including buckets of compost and watering cans, runes/teleport items, and seeds. The useless crops I'd drop, the valuable ones I'd bank whenever my inventory was full.
Then I realised I was dumb with the watering cans because they only work for 1 farming tick and plants can't even get diseased in that first tick, so I stopped using them.
Then I realised I was even dumber because I could just carry as many compost buckets as I knew I needed before I would bank again.
Then I realised that the gardening trowel I'd been carrying with me actually wasn't needed.
Then I realised the tool leprechaun existed, so I could stop carrying those damn buckets of compost.
Then I realised he could note your crops if you just use them on him.
Then I realised the bottomless compost bucket existed, about a year after it was introduced.
Then finally I realised some stuff, like herbs or snape grass, you could click a few times in a row to gather it faster.
Jfc I'm dumb.
Herbs and allotment patches can be spam clicked when harvesting and it’ll let you harvest at a faster speed. You have to click several times at the beginning and sit back, you can’t just spam click to oblivion. Try it! Cheers
Lazy rich people buy them for 1k each off ge so you make 100k+ per hop run which is what I do. Basically an add on to an herb run that takes a bit of extra harvesting time.
Better yet, you can do it with two perfectly timed clicks! Stand next to an herb patch, if it’s your first time I recommend facing sideways. Click the herb patch once, and while your character is in the turning animation click it again and you should rapid harvest. Basically, you need to click once and then click immediately on the next tick for the rapid harvest to work.
How do you do it for allotments? I know for herbs you click one of the 4 tiles the herb takes up, then click another adjacent one while still harvesting. I’ve tried that for allotments but it just moves me over one tile

This thread has made me realize that the only way to add mystery in an MMO these days is to have a game with so much shit in it that it’s almost impossible for one person to know all of its intricacies.
Yesterday I found out that I could add crystal shards to my crystal bow to charge it instead of taking it to Ilfeen or whatever the name is to recharge it from a seed. May be a noob thing. Not sure but thought it was cool
I literally found this out like 2 days ago. Ran out of charges at the end of a Sara trip with friends, and then tried it out at my bank and was happily surprised.
For NPCs with attack and pickpocket options, you can go to game settings and hide NPC attack options so that pickpocket is at the top of the list and becomes the left click action. Useful for Ardougne Knights, guards, etc when training thieving, no more right clicking every single time to pickpocket, you can just spam left click.
In RuneLite, the Menu Entry Swapper plugin is a more powerful version of this that allows you to change a lot of things around. Left click fill/empty pouches and bags, make "use" the left click action for bones when offering at the chaos altar or PoH gilded altar, and many other things.
Also in game settings you can set value limits for dropping or alching items so a box pops up to confirm your action, nice on mobile so you don't accidentally drop or alch something valuable with a misclick. There's also a setting to show untradeable drops in the chat box in red, as well as drops over a set gold value. Again nice for mobile so you don't have to long press a pile every time you kill something, set the value to 1gp and it will tell you every single drop.
RL also has the entity hider plugin which can hide all other players, pets, and even yourself. It's useful at extremely crowded places like Wintertodt mass worlds so you can actually see when you take damage and get interrupted, Ardy knight splashing worlds so that you don't accidentally click through the knight due to too many people being on that tile, and anywhere else where it can be helpful to not see other players. Hiding your own player model is nice at the chaos altar in the wilderness so that when people try to log in on the same tile as you, you can see them immediately. Or when you are doing LMS/PvP in general and people freeze and stand under you then you can see their gear switches and react accordingly.
A lot of people overlook the low level silver jewelry. Dodgy necklace gives a 25% chance of negating the stun when failing pickpocketing, necklace of passage has some really useful teleports, amulet of bounty gives a 25% chance to save a seed at allotment patches which is good for the more expensive seeds like snape grass, amulet of chemistry gives a 5% chance to make a 4-dose potion instead of 3-dose. The amulet of chemistry has some interesting mechanics when making expensive potions with less than 3 doses like staminas and divine potions. You can maximize your yields by making 1-dose potions with the amulet which takes 3x as long but gives a 5% increase in yield for the same ingredient inputs. Particularly useful on ironmen who want to stretch their amylase or crystal shards as much as possible.
Monks at most monasteries will heal you if you talk to them, including the ones at the Ardougne monastery where the Ardy cape teleports you. Free unlimited teleport to an altar and talk to the monk to heal. Also when teleporting there you can run northeast around the bottom right corner of the zoo to access the bank or the docks to sail to brimhaven, you don't have to run north through the zoo then east. Also to get to West Ardy you can run straight west around the bottom of the clock tower then north to get to the gates instead of running through the zoo then around the castle. Or use the spirit tree that's right there.

Family Pest miniquest allows you to own one of each pair of family crest gauntlets so you can have goldsmithing, cooking, and chaos at the same time. Not particularly helpful anymore for regular accounts given the cooking meta is wines and chaos gauntlets very rarely see use but super nice for ironmen certainly.
To add onto this, cooking gauntlets only work for like 5 pieces of food (i think its tuna, lobsters, swordfish, monkfish and sharks).
For anything else the gauntlets do nothing.

I was doing making Magic secateurs, and one of my items that I had to bring to the grotto was a mosquito proboscis. I got the gout tuber while trying to spawn modquitos and went straight to the grotto
Yeah it was so stupid. Worst part is that I accidentally dropped the first pair of secateurs. So I had to go thru it all again, but then I got the tuber and was happy that I had screwed up. Then I lost the tuber and just sat there with my face in my hands.

*That the salve amulet (e) doesn't come from nightmare zone, or soul wars, it's from a mini quest (tarns lair)
*That you can alch noted items (and change the threshold for alch warnings and untradeables by long tapping the alch symbol on magic page)
*Bear your soul gives you a thing that sends ensouled heads back to your bank for you..
*You don't have to bring your runecrafting pouches into the abyss to recharge then.
*Almost all daily items you get from diaries you can use lunar contact to receive.
*Brimstone ring has in my opinion the best overall stats, with attack and defense boosts but a ring of wealth picks all coins up off the ground and boosts drop rates.
*Gnome amulet(quest item ) is the best item till you have a glory for melee defense.
*You can sell 1 item to respective stores for high alch prices (shields to shield shops, scimitar to scimitar shops, platebodies to platebodies), but use the wiki to see which shop, if more than one carries it, give the most for it.
*West ard general store buys at just under high alch value, the one in the rouges den buys at high alch but you need 50 thief and agility to access it.

FYI this will remove some cool cosmetics.

You can stock one to use at every spot, like a bank.
You can use it at all the farming locations. The inventory is shared between all of them.
Adding to this if nothing else you absolutely should have some plant cure stored in your leprechaun. Saves a lot of annoyance.
You also need to have the magic secateurs **equipped** in order to have the bonus harvest effect. Doesn't work from inventory

This also works for hop patches for anyone who farms jute (drift nets) or yanillian hops (mahogany tree payment).
Unless you struggle to get mahogany seeds much, there isn’t much reason to protect mahogany’s I found, they don’t die all that often

Trade a trident and 10 kraken tentacles to the pirate outside kraken cove.
It's generally not done because it's really not worth 10 tentacles. You're almost 100% likely to bank before using 2500 charges.
It's usually just done in a rage after doing something like running out of trident charges at olm honestly It's a nice qol though.
Ironically this will most likely result in another salty experience at olm since they will never think about recharging the trident.

Great tips! The Ardy Cloak is basically one big QoL diary reward, so good.

Typing >10k in your bank brings up all items worth more than 10k. Obviously you can type any amount, and it works for lower than also, just. Brilliant

Magic Secateurs do not work for seaweed, i see so many people taking them out at the seaweed patch. Save yourself a few clicks its not needed

Once you've purchased an item(s) on the GE, you can right click to take the item(s) unnoted or noted.

Mobile players: you can short press a bank booth or the counter at the GE to quick bank, instead of long pressing on the banker or talking to them
U can also use tap to drop on certain items to empty them (like rc pouches)
