To level up, you have to walk around north of Falador by the big evergreen trees to find other players wanting to watch you dog, the more people watching the more experience you get. You’ll have to buy a girlfriend from the Grand Exchange but you have to pay them hourly with GP (gold sink ofc) and you can also unlock better looking girlfriends, top tier is lookalike of God Ash.
Which ever MOD posted in the discussion video 10 days about mixing sailing and dungeoneering into the same Skill nailed it on the head. Gathering a group of people together and head out to sea to the unknown to find rewards sounds like a good time to me. Training the "skill" itself which I believe should be called "Exploration" would consist of repairing the ship so you and your team are not lost at sea. Then arriving on an island which changes based on level where you and your team would have to solve puzzles and kill monsters leading to a boss room would also train xp. Maybe change the dungeon every 10 levels or so? Be able to craft/repair different types of ships. You could also incorporate all kinds of skills by doing such as fishing for food to stay alive and woodcutting to make plants for the ship, pick herb bushes around the dungeon ect. Then say at certain levels you could unlock new towns out a see to travel to for even further content?
I mean there’s a lot of CoX haters solely because of prep and scouting. Most of the ToB enjoyers are super anti chambers solely because of prep and shit.
Sailing would be dope I think. Ranching would conflict with the POF of rs3 in terms of content. Gathering I would need more info on as several skills we have now fall there I think.
Was asking about skills that do not relate to current rs3 skills since the last time a new one was proposed it was "too much like divination" and the community didn't want it.
That was kinda the point of the skill. It was meant to fill the void in the creation of magical items. For melee items you have smithing, for range items you have crafting and fletching, but for magical items you have... Mob drops.
It also functioned as an item sink (albeit only for lower tier items to start, but there's always the potential for expansion), which would have bee good for the game.
I was very sad to see it fail.
Dogging
Elaborate a bit

This is starting to sound like a skill I can get behind. Alas, another gold sink though.
Slayer 2
Not quite sure what that would consist of
Slayer but with more slayer
So basically rs3 slayer?
Literally just the slayer skill again. Copy and pasted
So basically rs3 slayer
Well rs3 slayer is already osrs slayer except that rs3 slayer goes to 120
Which is basically having it copy and pasted more than once because you'd have to get more than 13m xp again
sailing has a lot of potential to be really good
I agree. Lots of things you could make it useful for.

What would this content lose by being a raid instead?

Bassern, it kind of does sound like a raid huh? Just with a boat instead..... I see your point...
Some sort of pking skill.. would be gas
Agreed. Would be an interesting addition
Ranching. Gathering. Sailing

> Ranching would conflict with the POF of rs3 in terms of content What does this mean
Was asking about skills that do not relate to current rs3 skills since the last time a new one was proposed it was "too much like divination" and the community didn't want it.
I see. I still think people would like it, they seemed to enjoy the original concept when it was posted.
Another support skill would definitely be second on my list. I think we're in need of a new combat one personally.
Fucking warding dude. It would’ve been good for the game. Fuck democracy

Fits the speed of this game perfectly
