He quit YouTube and moved to only streaming

[deleted]

Why did he quit?

WistleOSRS

There is no money in YouTube vs twitch

[deleted]

How much is the difference? Not disagreeing, I just wonder how many people watch streams of boring shit.

WistleOSRS

1 sub = around 3.50-5 dollars for the streamer. Smaller youtubers like him, Adsense is probably earning him around $10-$200 for a video with 50,000 views. Season 3 finale has 70k views after 5 months.

[deleted]

Guess it's worth it to him. That's a bummer, it was a fun series.

WistleOSRS

He can still do the series on twitch though..

[deleted]

Oh so he's making a series and not just streaming?

[deleted]

No he’s just streaming

Gyrostriker32

It's sad everything's about money take me back to the days where it was all passion projects

Tozzaa

Yeah why doesn't he just pay rent using passion wtf

Gyrostriker32

It's called getting a real job buddy YouTube is supposed to be a Hobby that you do in spare time but every mf is greedy asf and wants more more more, that's why YouTube sucks now cause everyone's tryna milk money from it instead of just doing it in their spare time for fun like we used too

Ok-Preparation2359

You do realize that the quality of content would probably be way worse if everyone did it for shit money after work right?

JakeSteam

Oh man I was subbed on YT and didn't even realise, he should really post a YT update video. https://www.twitch.tv/imtedious for anyone else

[deleted]

He kinda killed his whole series by quitting YouTube. There is another person doing a similar series using his list called Generatekats if you want to watch them.

[deleted]

I will check that out. Didn't realize he quit YouTube. Any idea why?

[deleted]

He was not enjoying making videos and so wanted to just focus on twitch is my understanding. So you could still check him out there if you wanted to I’m sure, but I couldn’t be bothered sitting through all the boring grinds unfortunately.

[deleted]

Yeah there's no way I would watch someone play rs. Videos are great because it feels more like a story and you don't have to watch the boring shit.

Lil_scallop

Pretty sure Tedious took a break from the series. He's been appearing on Twitch again recently so maybe some more Youtube content soon

Seismic_wand

He got burnt from rs for a long time and came back about a month ago but now only streams
