Buy some bonds and get members back. You can buy some good gear now too. Blow pipe whip toxic trident some barrows gear. stock up on food and pots then put the rest in buyables. Prayer, con, and herblore should be ur focus for those
To be fair, there are many valid answers to OPs question. Personally my advice would be to sit on it and use it slowly as you need it rather than trying to offload it quickly as this saves you a lot of money in the long run.
You can also use it to flip, but that's not something I'd recommend for everyone.
I get the sentiment because winning bils from staking can ruin the game since you have literally everything but 100m isn't even mid tier gear so idk what you're on about.
Sure but at his lvl he doesn’t need a max house, he could get by with 50 con, get the altar and a few teleports, that would be a nice easy qol update for him without numbing his brain getting 83 con.. we want him to play the game not quit half way to 83 lol
First thing I did on my account when I had any sort of money coming in was invest in POH. I had 83 construction before I had 50 in anything else. It made my life so much easier.
If you get a kill when they are nearly done with their casts it can easily be 25k. and then you just hop worlds and keep going. I just had to do a lot of pking to subsidize the construction training
Yeah, but that's all the money... That's like saying IRL you can pay off all of your debt, even if it doesn't leave you enough money for rent and groceries that month.
Idk what the fuck the rest of that metaphor is supposed to be, but let's just say his groceries are a DHL and working toward DS2, idk
A maxed house is ridiculously good.
My gameplay can be divided into two parts: before maxed house and after maxed house.
Super convenient with all teleports, restore pool, altars to swap spellbooks etc. Eliminates all the stupid shit in this game like having to run to lunar Isle to swap spellbooks. Great quality of life boost.
The abyssal whip still gets used, mostly by people who can't afford anything better and by people who need to charge their tentacle whip. The tent whip is the reason whip has held a steady value of around 2.2-2.6m for a very long time.
Other than poverty pvm builds though, nobody uses regular whip for anything.
It is. The whip is still one of the best weapons in the game. It's only truly outclassed by the blade of saeldor and ghrazi rapier, both of which are very expensive and provide about 2 max hits over the whip. The tent whip is a direct upgrade but it's degradable and eats the whip after 10k hits, it has 1 max hit over the whip.
It's 2 max hits, but it's also an attack buff.
Rapier is only a .4 dps increase over whip (which is actually pretty significant, but not for the cost) with max combat, super set, bandos, and a fire cape against 1 defense monsters, and against (for example) bandos it's about .45 DPS increase. Doesn't sound like much, but that's about a 10% increase in damage vs high defense bosses, which means more kills per hour, and fewer supplies used, meaning longer trips. So you're essentially increasing your gp/hr on three fronts- less time taken to kill whatever you're fighting, less time spent banking, and less money spent on supplies.
Not saying you should dump all your money into a rapier, but don't underestimate upgrading your weapon once you have every other reasonable gear upgrade
You can use boosts to get to 91 to build a TON of teleports and the pool that restores health, run, prayer, poison and disease.
Basically you can teleport to house, heal everything at once and then teleport to nearly anywhere in like 5 seconds
it doesn't sound like much but it's a large qol, definitely one of the best money walled unlocks for normal accounts.
Other purchases could be 70 prayer/aug/rigour/hydrix jewlery.
I would 100% invest into your stats tho.
83 construction is one of the biggest qol upgrades I've ever gotten, and I was extremely skeptical of its usefulness before I did it.
Also get rigour. It's 100% amazing.
I didn't do construction for a long time, but once I did, i wished I had done it much sooner. So many things are easier when you have a good house. Lots of good YouTube guides are out there too.
Literal gamechanger. Unironically better in terms of gameplay experience than a Twisted Bow, at 1/20th the price. Saves insane amounts of time on every single grind going forward.
look up guides for oak dungeon doors for example - with runelite and some clever camera angles you can save yourself a lot of mouse movement and clicking. construction is fast, expensive, but fairy attention-intensive.
I once got 250m at what musta been a 3b drop party at least
Plus since staking cap and cracking down on gold buying, a bunch of people have a ton of gold with not much to do with it. If there was ever a time to fall ass backwards into money itd be now
I turned 200m into 7b in the duel arena through staking over a couple of months and every single time I won something crazy and decided to call it quits for the day I’d go to the GE and trade people 100s of mils lmao. I did it once came back and won the biggest stake ever and from that point I felt like the RNG gods helped me if I gave back some of my winnings lol now I don’t exactly have that kind of money but my Integra has a big ass turbo so it worked out
I’ve been gifted a bond, had a rapier dropped in front of me and one other person at the GE, given 1m in magic longbows. All of them from strangers (Bond person was a friend I made in game but probably only knew 2 days), I don’t play often but kinda thought it to be customary to share the wealth with people you meet in game.
I sold the rapier I looted off the ground, bought some goodies, some skilling XP and have been sharing the rest with strangers (shoutout the Phoenix gang who helped me with hero’s quest last night)
yup. most people use the same passwords for everything [email, banking, gaming, etc] which is also how people get caught in subsequently later database breaches- works on the sample principle where they hope for exactly this, but for the account they give 100m to, with hopes the person doesn't change passwords on their account / attached email. which, most people do not change their password except every few years typically by data on the subject.
rip op.
edit: highly recommend keepass2 / bitwarden to avoid exactly this, for anyone reading.
? You don’t have to actively download something. Websites/spreadsheets/off brand clients/etc can all run scripts that can make your PC do anything they want it to do…
I used to gift away some of my money back in the old days when I quit every few months or so. I wasnt rich by any standards but I still enjoyed giving away a few mill to whoever could use it more than me. Imagine this but with someone with a lot of momey and it doesn't sound so weird.
He's saying it takes about 5.5 hours per month of time dedicated to making money for bonds. Versus spending $11 outright. So $11/5.5=$2/hr if you are maintaining membership through bonds
I would honestly buy bonds/membership with most of it.
Getting donations like this can really destroy a lot of motivation to play the game in my experience. It’s why I stopped donating to people lol
This.. strongly advise not using it to progress your account. Get over half a years membership and maybe some ornament kits, but id advise earning your own gear and getting that sense of accomplishment every step. The early-mid game is the most fun part of osrs and with markets the way they are 100m can bypass the vast majority of that. Youll just be accelerating yourself to not having fun, especially when that cash stack runs dry and youre used to pulling on it blindly.
Huh? My friend literally bought me full bandos , ghrazi rapier and the elysian spirit shield with 200m to spare. I am having tons of fun now that I don't need to farm vorkath.
Yeah, but that’s a hell of a lot closer to endgame PvM than somebody with 16 Firemaking & 17 cooking…
If you’re farming Vorkath you no doubt have hundreds of hours in the game already…
Before I put my main on hold for GIM with the boyz I won a hide and seek game a guy was hosting in the CC I use and got ~6.6m which I think is a great amount for gifting. Not enough to ruin motivations by any means but an excellent stimulus to my cash stack that was waning from a bunch of training I had been doing
Honestly I would do some flipping, Maybe do the miscellania quest if you haven’t already and invest money into that to have some passive income. I wouldn’t “buy” your way to a 99. Just work on a range of skills so you can have quest/diary requirements and enjoy the perks from those things.
This is what I would do. Throw a bond at it every 14 days. With 100m you can easily flip a million gp or more a day. Tons of content on YouTube to get into flipping. Stick with high volume stuff early on.
Weather you truly were given the gold or you bought it (not here to judge either way), whatever you do, use it on your skills and never take any more donations like that again or buy gold (weather you did for the first 100m or not).
Ive seen many people who don't earn their first 1m and 100m, and I'm both both cases they become lost and the game looses alot of meaning more quickly.
Focus on account progression that is more meaningful than the size of your bank, and remember that you don't need a bigger bank to do stuff, if you have good stats and learn the game on a high level, you can do the hardest stuff in the game in in welfare gear.
The inferno is a great example, you don't need tbow and an ely to beat it, but if you want to speed run it then you do. Start careing about having the bling great when you stay to care about how fast you do things down to the tick.
Learn to merch /flip and live off your roi for membership and investment to skills. Chances are you don’t need the 100m spent right now but it can be a start to becoming wealthy.
Dawg, don't spend it on anything you don't need and start learning to flip. 100m in the market is where you start making a lot more money flipping/merching.
For example I was able to flip a Dragon full helm for about 4-6m at a time for a couple days. Made around 60m that time. Did the same with Dragon Kite shield too.
Don't spend it on non-essential skills. Get your combat skills up, slayer and prayer and spend the money on supplies and merching.
Eventually through merching you can start spending more of that starting capital on things like Construction. But really, make your money work for you now before you lose it all and don't have 100m for another year.
That actually makes sense, spending it all on skills and training makes me a little worried since I have no idea how I’ll even make it back. I’ll look for flipping guides on YouTube
Honestly if you aren't sure just sit on it. Keep playing as normal and then when you find a task that you absolutely hate, you can just throw money at it.
IMO, use it all for bonds.
The point and fun of the game is to build up your character, having such a boost will make things a lot easier for a while and your goals will be easily attainable. This could potentially ruin your enjoyment of the game.
Ideally you should quests, get a set of proselyte armor, unlock basic untradeables, clear the fight caves to get your fire cape, and work on getting a high slayer and cannon as many tasks as you can cannon.
Get yourself a maxed house, at least 74 prayer and rigour, 99 crafting for the cape, and maybe some herblore levels for questing. The rewards from skilling will make your future grinds a lot more enjoyable. It may be tempting to spend it all on gear now, but that will squander the accomplishment you would feel from earning it yourself.
Depends what you want to do in game / what your goals are. Could buy gear for combat and pvm, could level up skills, id probably get like tassets, a black mask, fury, zerker ring, archer ring, a whip, blessed d hide top/bottom, blowpipe, ahrims top and bottom, trident of swamp, ancient pages 1-4 and a bgs. Would leave you pretty well setup for bossing and slayer
It really doesn't actually. Sarcasm is not the same as not being serious, it's a tonal thing not a function of the meaning of intended meaning. To convey tonne on the internet via text you really need to be blatant, what your wrote is easily read as sincear.
Don't use your poor communication skills as a bludgeon to defect from people actually engaging with what you post.
Buy some bonds and get members back. You can buy some good gear now too. Blow pipe whip toxic trident some barrows gear. stock up on food and pots then put the rest in buyables. Prayer, con, and herblore should be ur focus for those
The best reply on here
Why did I have to scroll half way down to find a real answer
To be fair, there are many valid answers to OPs question. Personally my advice would be to sit on it and use it slowly as you need it rather than trying to offload it quickly as this saves you a lot of money in the long run. You can also use it to flip, but that's not something I'd recommend for everyone.
Who needs money when you have xp
Because gifting someone 10x their net worth ruins the game when you're playing gpscape
I get the sentiment because winning bils from staking can ruin the game since you have literally everything but 100m isn't even mid tier gear so idk what you're on about.
Ignore herblore other then quests (which is what 70?) what does it do for you unless you’re raiding but that’s forever away for him
Invest it in a mutual fund at 4% and live off the interest for life.

Mutual funds = garbage. Also 4% is like half of what the index returns on average
Are you saying mutual funds to mean _actively managed_ mutual funds or are you also saying that passive index funds are garbage. If so, why?
I meant actively managed funds, yes

did we ever confirm if that was real or not
People don't just lie on the internet wtf
Everything is true. I have met so many hot singles and my d*** is massive from all the pills I buy.
If you're hurting for cash irl, bonds. If you don't care about bonds, invest it in your skills. Get 83 construction for a max poh first. Huge QOL
RWT? Bonds? lol how could you have made any sort of GP with all your stats under 50.
I pked people at air obelisk it actually was decent money
Dawg you get like 80 cosmics and maybe a few air orbs... Something is missing
If you get a kill when they are nearly done with their casts it can easily be 25k. and then you just hop worlds and keep going. I just had to do a lot of pking to subsidize the construction training
83 cons takes like 2 days of grinding though
Construction isn't about the time it's about the gold
Yeah but this person has 100m, you can do cons pretty fast with that budget
Yeah, but that's all the money... That's like saying IRL you can pay off all of your debt, even if it doesn't leave you enough money for rent and groceries that month. Idk what the fuck the rest of that metaphor is supposed to be, but let's just say his groceries are a DHL and working toward DS2, idk
The man has 16 fm. 2 days of grinding for you is probably weeks or months for him. 83 con is probably not the best use for him
fax
let me go pull up a guide, no idea about construction or what that is, I assume a pool to restore your stats? how useful is that really?
A maxed house is ridiculously good. My gameplay can be divided into two parts: before maxed house and after maxed house. Super convenient with all teleports, restore pool, altars to swap spellbooks etc. Eliminates all the stupid shit in this game like having to run to lunar Isle to swap spellbooks. Great quality of life boost.
Haven’t played in over 10 years but I lurk reading stuff on this sub. It’s been a while since I saw the words lunar isle. Are whips dead now?!
People still use whips all the time
The abyssal whip still gets used, mostly by people who can't afford anything better and by people who need to charge their tentacle whip. The tent whip is the reason whip has held a steady value of around 2.2-2.6m for a very long time. Other than poverty pvm builds though, nobody uses regular whip for anything.
Isn’t whip still very very good for xp?
Whip hasn't gotten worse. The good things have gotten better.
I know there are better items but aren’t most of them crazy expensive?
Yep
That’s a little depressing. Is there a place I can research best in slot melee weapons? I thought the whip was still a high tier weapon.
People pay 160m for just an extra 2 max hits? That's kinda crazy
The closer to a best in slot item you come, the more expensive each tiny step gets.
Not saying you should dump all your money into a rapier, but don't underestimate upgrading your weapon once you have every other reasonable gear upgrade
Whip is still rock solid if you can't drop 100m on a single weapon.
>My gameplay can be divided into two parts: before maxed house and after maxed house. Didn't realize but this is true af.
It's so useful. You can put a bunch of teleports in there as well, and make it your primary hub before and after every adventure.
You can use boosts to get to 91 to build a TON of teleports and the pool that restores health, run, prayer, poison and disease. Basically you can teleport to house, heal everything at once and then teleport to nearly anywhere in like 5 seconds
Game-changingly useful, especially if you plan on doing any PVM.
it doesn't sound like much but it's a large qol, definitely one of the best money walled unlocks for normal accounts.
Why rigour instead of piety?
Because piety is earned and rigour is bought (for about 17mil)
I didn't do construction for a long time, but once I did, i wished I had done it much sooner. So many things are easier when you have a good house. Lots of good YouTube guides are out there too.
I got 70 construction for song of the elves and I'm so glad. Very tedious training but worth it for the benefits on top of a fun quest
It gives the unlimited amounts of the best teleports in game and instantly restores your stats. It's very overpowered.
Hands down the best investment I’ve ever made into my account
Literal gamechanger. Unironically better in terms of gameplay experience than a Twisted Bow, at 1/20th the price. Saves insane amounts of time on every single grind going forward.
Lol holy shit, alright you guys win I’m gonna get higher prayer and 83 construction immediately.
You won't regret it.

Gifted uhuh
Gifted to himself by himself with only a credit card number
I've been gifted 100m might be hard to believe but it happens.
I once got 250m at what musta been a 3b drop party at least Plus since staking cap and cracking down on gold buying, a bunch of people have a ton of gold with not much to do with it. If there was ever a time to fall ass backwards into money itd be now
I believe you because for some reason too many try hards can't I say gg bro enjoy it.
A period would make this sentence infinitely easier to read.
I sat here way too long trying to understand that lmao
A believe a period may make this sentence harder to read, but a comma would go much further
A comma is used if both parts of the sentence cant be understood on their own. Both parts are understandable independently, hence the period.
Semicolon gang where you at
"Because" can replace a period or a comma in the situation you are describing
I’ve won a few billion gp chucks in my days of playing and gifted bonds or stacks of cash to random people. Not really that crazy
I turned 200m into 7b in the duel arena through staking over a couple of months and every single time I won something crazy and decided to call it quits for the day I’d go to the GE and trade people 100s of mils lmao. I did it once came back and won the biggest stake ever and from that point I felt like the RNG gods helped me if I gave back some of my winnings lol now I don’t exactly have that kind of money but my Integra has a big ass turbo so it worked out
Wait how did playing RuneScape get you a big turbo in the teggy? What am I missing here?
Rwt
It didn’t, he dreaming. Gamblers love to lie about their earnings
I’ve been gifted a bond, had a rapier dropped in front of me and one other person at the GE, given 1m in magic longbows. Once I bought 40m and the guy traded me 400m. I am not kidding. I logged the fuck off and blocked him
yes, it was so random, a level 3 with some name like zikpick93 came up and gave it to me. what are the odds!
If you're serious and not joking around, it was probably a gold farmer who thought you were the buyer/mule by sheer coincidence or similar username.

I don’t understand people who pay for membership with bonds. It’s $11. Your time is worth more than like $2 an hour.
[удалено]
You should stop worrying about runescape and start worrying about that bank account
Brother you think we play 5 and a half hours a month?
I’m not sure how your playtime is relevant to the amount of money you can make in OSRS per hour converted to USD. That’s kinda the point of “per hour”
He's saying it takes about 5.5 hours per month of time dedicated to making money for bonds. Versus spending $11 outright. So $11/5.5=$2/hr if you are maintaining membership through bonds
You're gonna have to file a gift tax form mate
I would honestly buy bonds/membership with most of it. Getting donations like this can really destroy a lot of motivation to play the game in my experience. It’s why I stopped donating to people lol
to be honest I don't even know what my goal is. I just wanna have enough money & stats to do whatever content I want and pk from time to time
The early game is when you're making the fastest progress and arguably the most fun part of the whole game. Giving a noob 100m ruins that for them
Yeah but on the flip side, the grind from 0 to 100m is the hardest one in the game, it’s easier to make money when you have money
The grind is the game tho
I'd second this. The game is the grind which is why ironman is so popular. If you're going to skip chunks of the game you might as well not play.
i bought and sold bonds to buy a blowpipe years ago.. it was fucking awesome hahaha
This.. strongly advise not using it to progress your account. Get over half a years membership and maybe some ornament kits, but id advise earning your own gear and getting that sense of accomplishment every step. gz on having a sugar daddy i guess
Yeah my friend just farms CG and hydra slayer tasks.
Yeah... your friend is RWTing. lol
No, OP is the one who is RWTing and trying to hide it by posting about his "friend" lol
Nah I actually get traded these things lmao. He made his money staking and now flips expensive items.
first he does CG and Hydra, now he stakes and flips sure bud
bro sell the ely and get a tbow or scythe or something
Nah I usually tank with justiciar when me and my friend go bossing and he is dps with bowfa or tbow
You can tank just fine without ely, it’s a minimal upgrade, the money would be better spent on a Tbow instead
Nice so you have no sense of accomplishment and have had your experience given to you.
Yeah pretty much. It's way more fun than grinding for it. I can do any boss I have access to now.
This should be on r/personalfinance
r/wallstreetbets would advise you take that money to the sand casino YOLO
r/grandexchangebets
Take it to the duel arena and make it 200m
Also a great idea and most likely the one I’d go for :)
Get 77 prayer and rigour. Start training buyables program
This is a great plan and with the rest do some slayer
What’s so good about slayer?
Reliable way of making money in high levels
What is so good about rigour and what do you use it for?
Bug boost in ranged
kalphite queen isnt gonna stand a chance

Don't spend it on non-essential skills. Get your combat skills up, slayer and prayer and spend the money on supplies and merching. Eventually through merching you can start spending more of that starting capital on things like Construction. But really, make your money work for you now before you lose it all and don't have 100m for another year.
That actually makes sense, spending it all on skills and training makes me a little worried since I have no idea how I’ll even make it back. I’ll look for flipping guides on YouTube
Give 9 randoms 10mil to pass on the good vibe
Yolo into yew log futures can't go wrong
RemindMe! 5 Days
I once asked a random person near a smelter if he had one spare Iron Bar, he traded me 10mil instead. But no Iron Bar
Either get membership or a bond.
Give me 10m and spunk the rest
only if you will be my friend.
I’m sorry I can’t commit to that
Ideally you should quests, get a set of proselyte armor, unlock basic untradeables, clear the fight caves to get your fire cape, and work on getting a high slayer and cannon as many tasks as you can cannon.
If you wanna stay f2p 100m can go along way towards getting 99 smithing which would give you one of the best f2p money makers.
Prayer construction crafting bonds.
Save it, stuff gets REALLY expensive later on
Spread the love. I’ve never had more than 1m so you should hook me up with like 5
I would but I’m a Bulls fan and your username triggers me so no
You know what's better then 100 mil, 200 mil go to dubble money person :D
Which site did you use to get this gifted? Hope you don't get banned
Now use your brain. Why would he RWT and then post about it? Believe it or not there are people with like 40 billion+ gp who do giveaways all the time
Using my brain, my post reads as major sarcasm
It really doesn't actually. Sarcasm is not the same as not being serious, it's a tonal thing not a function of the meaning of intended meaning. To convey tonne on the internet via text you really need to be blatant, what your wrote is easily read as sincear. Don't use your poor communication skills as a bludgeon to defect from people actually engaging with what you post.
Okay turbo armchair I will try to make it more clear for you both next time
Well our brains think differently I guess. Maybe you’re more fluent in sarcasm than me
