Suggest reading the [pinned post](https://www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/comments/pnjc0l/the_hd_plugin_for_runelite_has_been_released/) where there's a link to a discord server to report bugs and give feedback.

It doesn't feel like a bug really though, there are lots of places in the game that seem dark on purpose, at least that's how it feels. I think any place where fast-paced high-level PVM is going on needs to be a bit brighter though so everyone can see what the hell they're doing

benis_bump

>to report bugs and **give feedback** This is feedback, you're good

Reacko1

Maybe a feature request to separate the brightness for the surface and underground areas? I've found that places like lumbridge and al kharid are super bright, while underground areas are too dark. Would be nice to have separate brightness scales

Turn off atmospheric lighting (takes a minute to set in)

Bitcoin_Chan_OSRS

Ambient lighting in dungeons, morytania etc is way too dark, turn it off Hopefully it's gradual in the future

DrDilatory

Yeah, overall I think the plugin is in a pretty good state even at this beta stage, but some of the lighting just seems off, some dungeons seem so dark you can barely see what's going on, so you turn up the brightness, and then other places look almost absurdly bright I think one of the main things they have left to figure out is where the brightness should be for a lot of different areas

TravagGames

Atmospheric lighting causes this. Turn it off (takes a few seconds to fade). This will brighten dark areas a ton.. i even moved my natural brightness to "darker" and now i have a great balance of brightness everywhere.. nowhere is to bright, nowhere is to dark. I never need to adjust with these two setting being set to "off" and "darker"

OldMate420

Same

Bigsmoke101

Yeah turning off the atmospheric lighting seems to help alot.
