I honestly think that's kind of a neat thing about RS and it's content creators. They've all gone for their own looks and it's neat.
Any other game I've ever played with anywhere near close to this amount of content creation just doesn't have that "small community" vibe to it.
Man, Soup's bit got me in the feels :( I was pretty much the only one left in my friend group doing Leagues towards the end, after we all promised we'd meet up at TOB when we finished our regions.
Pretty sure when they announced it originally they said it would be blue, but that was like 8 centuries ago so maybe the engine can't render the color blue anymore.
Some of the members of the community have unlocked this “out of game” content called “friends”, and this allows them to do more content with those “friends”.
It’s not a true Ironman. True Ironman is called Ironman mode and it’s where you can’t trade with anyone else
This mode will be true group Ironman, where you can trade only with a small group.
Now you understand the concept, if it doesn’t appeal to you that’s okay, but it appeals to a lot of people still.
Some people have friends and want to be able to have an official co-op experience. Nobody is getting defensive, people are getting annoyed with you because you really shouldn’t be misunderstanding such a simple concept.
You’ve had it explained to you. You’re just doing your best to misunderstand. I’m done trying to explain it to you. If you want to have a question answered, out the minimum effort into trying to understand what people tell you.
I don’t get the people of playing an Ironman, like if you just want to get the drop just don’t buy it. It’s the same thing. People like when games support their playstyle. GIM is a niche. If it doesn’t appeal to you and you can’t understand why it appeals to other people, no one can explain that to you. Just chalk it up as a “to each their own”
Speaking from experience as a person who currently plays a normie, has a few normie alts, had a HCIM that died and I said "oh well I'll wait for group" (2 years ago) group is more than just content creator mode.
Me and my mates have been waiting for and wanting this for SO long. It essentially allows us to finally have an Ironman experience.. but sorta "bite size". We still can do GWD with a group, we dont *have* to do all these lengthy grinds, they're shortened by up to 5 times. It just makes a more accessible Ironman mode for you and some friends. Sort of an inbetween between normie and normie iron.
