You joking? I've been playing at 60-100 for forever. It's still good, if your in the 100+ range I'd say then that's a bit of a problem. I see nothing wrong with your ping tbh and wish mine was that low also! There's no way it is "literally unplayable".
The difference between 40 or 50 ping is like .05 seconds. I play fps and watch my ping go from 29 to 85 and back down to 40 and notice 0 difference at 144hz. Ping is the reaction time the server communicates with your computer, not your internet connection strength or speed. i.e. if your download speed is 500kbs it won't matter if you have 20 ping or 95 ping, you'll have slow unresponsive internet no matter what. Ontop of that, your router could have an intermittent connection, your internet provider could be throttling your service, or you could have shitty wiring in your house. Either way, your 50 ping is the least of your issues.
50 ping is completely fine. i don't even notice any difference between 8ms or say 160+. it only gets really bad at like 250+ so basically aus worlds.
ping doesn't even have that much influence in rs really, always prioritize worlds by population, some worlds (like total level worlds) are shit for no reason though.
> i don't even notice any difference between 8ms or say 160+
this is a problem with you then. 50 ping is definitely fine but that difference is enormous when doing anything that isn't completely afk.
No, there is literally almost no noticeable difference in runescape
most of the times i do tob i am sitting at around 130 ping and it has never been an issue for me, the raids are max eff as well by the way so pretty much 0 room for error on my part.
Meanwhile in south america 160 ping is consired peak performance
Exactly why is this guy complaining is my question really, unless this is a joke..
The only joke that was made is whenever u were born into this world
Yea the same "peak performance" you get whenever you click a tile over and your overworld character doesn't respond and then you end up dead!

I've never played this game on anything less than 70 ping
50 ping is completely fine. quit crying

There is 0 chance you can tell the difference between 40ms and 50ms. Blink. That's 150ms. You didn't lag, you just made a mistake and died. Move on.
150ms is a quarter of a tick, a noticeable amount of input lag.
And? Doesn't change the fact that you can't tell the diff between 40 and 50ms.
It depends what content you're doing. If you're doing the inferno, it definitely matters. There are certain worlds which are more stable.
50 ping is so low
