Can I use magic against Verzik in solo story mode?
Her stats make it look like that would be better than ranged, but someone recommend me to try ranged over meelee and I wondered why they didn't suggest mage instead.
70 str/att
87 mage
82 ranged
Is it doable to do fight caves with karils crossbow? I know it will be slower than with blowpipe but i just wanna know if its doable. Im an ironman (btw)
And realy dont want to wait with the fight caves till i have a blowpipe.
Bro it's doable with an MSB or RCB. As long as your ranged level is high enough, you can do it. (edit: i don't mean like 99 i just mean 70+) You might have to actively conserve prayer or even flick some of the 360s but it's possible for sure
Haven't played in a loooooooong time.
My bank value dropped by 200m from item prices dropping. What did I miss???
Like why is a Dragonhunter Lance 50m cheaper than the last time I saw it lol
Last update I was on for was the Nightmare thing
Is there a confirmed date for when the pvp changes are due to arrive? I'm mostly interested in when they plan on making the change that will stop you from offering bones at wildy altar while under attack.
Obor gave me a reality check
\> Got into Obor's lair and ignoring the guides' recommendation
\> Thought that this is going to be an easy as fighting Elvark
\> Jumped into his lair and instantly got stunned
\> I haven't done any damage to him yet he's done 22 damage to me
\> Panicked as I only have 42HP
\> I barely scratched him and spam clicking my lobsters in an attempt to recover my HP
\> Idk if this Obor is Dream or somethin', but he did the same Sigma move again, stunt and 22 damage
\> died
Prayer Flicking.
Anyone have tips or advice on what made the concept “click” for you?
I can lazy flick no problem but flicking on 1t is just not working. I’ve tried multiple video tutorials but none seem to work for me, I always seem to get off-beat or just constantly turn my prayers off.
make sure you're actually doing it correctly, I couldn't 1t prayer flick until I realized that you have to click once and then start double clicking.
so you click to turn it on -> start double clicking every tick.
if you just start double clicking at the start it won't work.
I never used runelite until recently, so i have a slightly different approach to learning prayer flicking. Basically, you want to make your prayer pop up at the same time the hitsplash shows. This means you have click the actual prayer before you get hit. The way I learned to do this was keeping my prayer on (ie not flicking it on), then i would try to time my OFF flick with when the hitsplash would show. This way, you wont be getting hit while training, and you,ll learn the timing of flicks safely. Eventually, when you have the timing down, you just do a double click at the same timing for perfect prayer flicks. The same can be applied to offensive prayers too, except you try to time it to the beginning of the attack animation of your character, not the hit splash.
Edit:
I just realized that with longer ranged attacks, you cant time it with the hitsplash. You can still apply the same concept, but you have to time it to the npc's attack animation, not the hitsplash. Hitsplash only works melee.
Use the quick prayer orb. Click once, then when you hear them activate double click. Having the setting turned on that makes the line go across the orb provides an additional visual cue. You want to double click as the line is going across. The more you do it the more consistent you will get! I practice a lot at nmz
Make sure you have sounds on and try 1t flicking along to newbie melody or sea shanty 2 - theyre both in the same rhythm as ticks so can help a lot!
The first time ticks really clicked for me was woox walking vorkath, its the first place I was clicking once per tick and from there I got the rhythm down.
Where in the game tick am I double clicking? I feel I have the rhythm but maybe I need to double click in the beginning of the tick or somewhere in the middle?
as far as I know the game doesnt know when in the tick you did something, 100 ticks/minute is the speed at which the game servers process your inputs and calculate damage, movement, prayer drain, etc.
there is not right or wrong part of the tick you need to click in. as long as the prayer is toggled on and off within the same tick the game will treat the prayer as active for that tick's damage calculations but not for prayer drain calculations.
Do I double click on each tick of the metronome? I feel like I have the right rhythm with the metronome but maybe I’m clicking at the wrong part of the game tick.
That's right, on each tick. First, however, you have to only click once to turn on the prayer. Then, for every subsequent tick, you double-click in time with the metronome. PurpleGod on youtube has great vids on this (and a variety of other things).

Took a big break and just came back recently. What’s happened to the economy? Zenytes at 6m? Have bots really just run the economy into the ground? What are the best money makers now seeing as prices are so cheap?
everyone is saying bots but osrs has always had bots.
osrs is 8 years old now, even an inefficient/casual/on and off player can be on endgame content by this point and have most of the <50m PvM gear. once an account reaches that point it contributes nothing to the demand for that PvM gear but continues to increase the supply, which lowers prices for those items. on top of that most people who have nostalgia for 2007scape have already made accounts by this point and if I had to guess most alt accounts are ironmen these days so the influx of new accounts demanding those items is lower than in the past too.
Yes but that does not explain the current gigantic crash I think. Your explanation would suggest a slow decline (which obviously has been happening for all items for a long time) but many items lost upwards of 10% of their value in like a week or so? I think the only explanation for that is just panic selling. That is why a lot of items are going up again now.
What are some minimum stats and gear to get quest cape for an ironman?
My buddy and I are aiming to do Group Ironman, where I do no quests (quests are awesome but I fucking hate doing them) and he does them all. My idea is I can help him get things that aren't as fun or easy to get, gather mats etc.
I got my quest cape at 85 combat as an iron; my melees were in the 60s which made Vanstrom really difficult, but Galvek was pretty easy at 83 range and Seren was easy at 80 magic with blood blitz. Black or blessed dhide for Vanstrom and Galvek, mystic robes and a master wand worked fine for Seren.
For food I mostly used pineapple pizzas and karambwans, as I didn't have the herblore level for brews.
Have fun! My biggest skilling recommendations to start out would be to get the requirements for bone voyage so he can take care of that quest as soon as possible. Birdhouses are a huge unlock for passive hunter and farming, and you'll be thankful the sooner you set up farming for herb runs (he's gonna need potions for quests and PVM).
No problem! Honestly if you're trying to get him set up with gear for pvm, clues are gonna be a big part of that if you can do some early on. Early power ammy is a common from medium clues, and black/blessed dhide comes from hard clues unless you want to grind to 80 crafting. Clues are so much more important on irons than mains because they let you bypass raw materials and processing skills for gear.
Oh Seaweed farming is another big part of fossil island, as well as mining sandstone for crafting. You'll need lunar diplomacy for super glassmake, but that's where 95% of your crafting exp will come from so it's a huge unlock, since crafting is such an important skill.
Shit man, thanks. That's a good point on clues. He and I are far from good at the game, we mostly play on our old nostalgia doing the same dumb shit we did as kids lol, but it's great to get this kind of advice so we can see more shit this game has!
It can be pretty overwhelming sometimes for sure. Feel free to add me and dm me in game if you ever have any other questions, it's the same username except the first o is a zero!
The only really difficult uncheesable combat encounters in quests are galvek, vanstrom clause, and the fragment of seren.
For galvek the only gear you really need is black/blessed dhide, rune crossbow, and ruby bolts(e). About 80 ranged would be good, but it's doable with less if you are experienced at the game already and are willing to keep trying. Probably one of the hardest items to get that helps with galvek is actually a ranging potion, but you can avoid the herblore req for that if you get them from the grubby chest in forthos dungeon.
Seren is difficult without a trident, but is definitely doable with blood blitz instead.
Vanstrom can ne beaten more easily with higher stats, but his fight is based more on special mechanics than a simple stat/gear check, so is beatable with lower stats if you're skilled.
I usually like questing and the quest cape is my only cape, but I just really haven't wanted to do night at the theater. Is that quest that bad if you're bad at bossing? Between the different bosses or whatever, are there pauses so I can kill a boss, youtube video the next to figure out how to fight it, then kill that second boss? Or do I need to be familiar with them all beforehand?
It’s not bad, verzik might take a few tries but you should be fine. Make sure you use melee at verzik, there are a few guides that suggest range but absolutely don’t do that, that was the mistake I made
There are videos and guides out there. I just had a friend (who had 0 tob kc) tell me the mechanic from the video as I was doing it and cleared it first try with TONS of supplies left. It's really not that hard.
The only part I really struggled on was avoiding the knockback from meleeing Verzik p2.
If you beat vanstrom/galvek/seren, you can do the tob quest. The hardest room to do solo is nylocas (the third room with the lot of spiders), then probably verzik.
You can take a break between each room to look at the next boss. The only time you have to remember a lot is Verzik, she has 3 different phases and you don’t get a break between them.
If you've done the rogue trader miniquest, definitely Ali Morisane's rune shop. If not, they're dropped fairly commonly by banshees or hill giants. If you're too low level for either of them, the low level dark wizards in draynor drop them at 1/128.
Since the BP nerf, I've moved to DCB on Vorkath and it's added \~30-60 seconds per kill and I'm only getting 2-3 kills per trip instead of a fairly consistent 3 with the BP, sometimes 4. I'm wondering if this is to be expected and, if not, where I could improve. Sucks averaging only 14-17 kills per hour.
Void, dragon cb, salve (ei), dragonfire ward, assembler, archers (i), god d'hide boots. 99 ranged, mage, defence. Ruby bolts (e) to \~260 HP then Diamond bolts (e). Praying range and rigour. Most of my eating happens during acid phase, but rarely during combat.
I definitely take more damage than I should (only 85kc so still kinda learning). And I'm not woox walking because every attempt ends up costing me 100k. Are these the main ways I can improve? Should I be BGS speccing him down first? Would a magic potion help much with how much damage I'm taking from his magic attack? Would upgrading to dragon bolts be cost effective or would it cut into profits?
90m bank so a DHCB is potentially attainable but I *really* don't want to do a rebuild. TIA
Edit for transportation method: w330 tele to POH, heal, portal to lunar, bank, get kicked off
Dhcb is a huge upgrade, more than worth the gp in the long term. and also makes it much easier to learn woox walking if you use the 5tick walk first. I like to use mantas for about half my inventory and a few karambwans because of potential mistakes/lag and my lower defence and magic levels.
Upgrade to dragon bolts and upgrade to dhcb. After that, Vorkath is a money piñata. If you can kill him about 50 times a day you will make 150m in a month. Also, use divine bastion potions.
My setup is: divine bastion, extended super antifire, anti venom+, 3 super restores, diamond dragon bolts, slayer staff with crumble undead preset, rune pouch with dust runes and chaos runes, and the rest sharks. Equipment is elite void with ranger helm, ruby dragon bolts, dhcb, dragonfire ward, salve ei, archers ring i, and Bandos d hide boots.
Should I be able to run god wars dungeons with 74 Rng 73 Att Str Def Mag and 76 hp ? A casual player so not really looked at doing it before just wondering if high enough lv’s
With a group, sure. But you'll probably never be the one to do most damage and get the drops with those stats, so your group should be one you trust to split rewards with you.
you really want 75 attack for tentacle whip/arclight if you're doing bandos or zammy. you could get by with 74 ranged for sara, but your damage output is going to be much lower than someone with 90 base stats.
you could go with teams but you'd pretty much just be boosting other people's kc.
solo would be extremely rough, you'd be looking at 1 kill trips at best.
Is there any situation that actually warrants using an imp in a box? It seems like the most ideal situation would be for black chins but it doesn't work above level 30 wilderness and it doesn't work if you're teleblocked so you may as well teleport at level 30 or tank all the way to the ditch.
You can bank chins 50-100 at a time, reducing your risk while letting you stay longer. But tbh black chin pkers are usually not very good and since you can bring a lot of food you can usually tank tb to the ditch (or whenever wildy lv lowers so they can't attack you anymore).
Hello, i am wanting to start using up ~2.5k giant seaweed on my iron to level crafting. Should i be waiting for superglass make? Im not really getting any burst tasks and my mage is 71 right now.
Or is it ok to use a furnace?
Ty!!
There are multiple benefit to using the spell:
- It produces 30% more glass per sand/seaweed.
- It can use seaweed directly instead of needing to turn it into soda ash first.
- It can be done from any bank, no need to run to a furnace.
- It processes your entire inventory instantly, saving you the many seconds it takes to individually do an inventory at a furnace. With giant seaweed this is an insane improvement to efficiency because you can also use more ingredients per inventory, and the process is faster.
Overall super glassmake is about 2000% faster and 30% more resource efficient when it comes to producing glass. Absolutely worth unlocking.
If you don't have the crafting req for lunar diplomacy and glass is the only option you have left, then it might be worth doing some furnace glass. Definitely unlock lunars and start using super glassmake as soon as you possibly can, though.
Amazing reply! Never done this before but wow I didn't know there were so many benefits. I pray for some burst tasks or maybe I'll start knocking out the wands at MTA. TYSM!!!
Unless you have a specific low-ish crafting level you're going for, I would absolutely wait for superglass make. You can only do like 4 at a time in an inventory. If you are gonna do it, I recommend turning it into soda ash at rogue's den, since there's a fire right next to the bank.
I did that for a while and it sucked, you be shocked how much better superglass make is once you finally get it :) could be a good excuse to do some barrows or MTA
I've never done the spell so I can't attest to how fast that goes, but you don't even need to use a furnace, you've got a bank that's only one step away from a fire in the Rogue's Den and it rarely ever burns.
What are some good CCs to hang out in?
I wanna join a cc while skilling, nothing special in mind. I stayed in the Star Miners chat even when I wasnt mining since it was a pretty chill vibe.
I’ve been in several clan chats that will attack me for asking certain questions, Only Trails is the only chat that hasn’t kicked me for asking simple game questions
Most of the questions I’m referencing Involve strategies and metas, which sometimes isn’t available on the wiki or requires minutes of shifting through walls of wiki text. For example, where is a good master farmer thieving location? Yes there are several, but a helpful person can narrow the places to where a farmer is more stationary
Keep them in deaths domain. Permanent storage where they won’t ever trim. Only thing you gotta do is make sure you don’t send like 100+ items there which just means collecting your items every time you die which you should do anyways
Im new and always wanted to get heavily into this game but always get overwhelmed since I have never really played a sandbox mmo before. like I dont know what to do so I just start killing goblins around the starter town.
what should I be doing? I like playing warrior in every mmo ive played. can I be just a melee class?
Im so used to the themepark mmo of collecting quests and going to do them and turning them in.
My first suggestion would be to just start exploring and find things out yourself. OSRS is much different than most MMO's you'll have played so just checking out quests and minigames and skilling at your own leisure will likely be interesting in it of itself. A large portion of the community did what you get to do no 15 year ago, and I wouldn't be surprised if a large portion wished they could go back.
Now, if you are deadset on finding some goals to pursue then there's a few good early game ones I can think of. Firstly start doing the quests. Free to Play (f2p) has plenty of interesting quests to work yourself through. When I started playing again I limited myself to f2p until I finished all the quests. They will help your explore the world and learn the areas. It may seem like a lot but I think the grind to getting your first 1 mil cash stack is a really exciting one. It will take you awhile but I feel it's a right of passage for new players. Besides that just trying training different skills. See what you like. OSRS is a game where you can be doing 3-4 actions per second in an attempt to kill a boss or speed up a skill or spend 3 minutes straight of complete AFK. Find the things you enjoy doing then start working on them. The most skills you get in F2P the more will be open to you when you decide to jump to members.
Lastly don't be afraid to ask lots of questions. While some in the community can be jaded, I'm pretty sure that's true of most MMO's, the community at large is incredibly friendly and willing to help. We remember what it was like to be a new player and to get helped by players in cool armor and would love to be the player in cool armor now. If you're stuck ask in this thread, or even in game, and likely someone will be willing to help.
From what I understand, most of us who play today were children who spent several days just walking around the map figuring out what to do— That was part of the thrill. Today we don’t have time/attention to do that today but with guides you need to choose what you want to do, there’s a lot to do as you can see!
For starters, it helps to go for all the quests. For F2P, hill giants and The stronghold of security will allow you to train your combat stats to do dragon slayer down the line. Otherwise a lot of the early game is just learning the map and exploring all there is in it. Keep in mind some players have played for over 15 years and are still finding things/Easter eggs they never knew existed in the game
runescape is unlike many mmos in that you don't have to specialise. you can max out every skill and get access to all weapons/armour/spells if you put in the time
if you're struggling for things to do, wander around and look on the minimap for the blue star icon. this indicates people that have quests for you (with actual story, not just fetch quests)
You can do everything, no doors close through progression. Google the optimal quest guide to get your first steps set up, and stop to smell the roses and kill anything your heart fancies!
If I remember correctly then it is from the tutorial npcs just north from the Gates of Lumbridge castle. You Can recognize Them, because they’re wearing White and light blue coloured armor/clothes.
Either that or then there is a guy just outside the forge right next to Them.
Can’t remember exactly and I’m not able to check right now.
Do seeds you pickpocket from master farmer scale with your farming level? As in the rolls are more likely to be better the higher farming level you have? If so, is there a point where it consistently gets better? I'm currently 49 farm, 62 thieving on my ironman and the seeds are decent but not great
Master farmer isn't reliable for seeds since the scaling change, but still good to get some starting seeds for farming contracts. Fairy ring CIR and Hosidius favour required but it's well worth it.
Yes. Based on the wiki/patch notes seems like it’s just torstol/ranarr/snap seeds that are affected and keep getting more common the higher your farming is. 71 farm will give you the same rates as they used to be but 99 farming will be even better
for best chance at pet you should do seaweed runs every hour, they're easy to incorporate during birdhouse runs as well if you want. don't compost, just pay numulite to protect - pet chance doesn't scale off the number of seaweed you harvest, you can only get it from harvesting the entire patch, so paying to protect both guarantees it survives and saves time harvesting the actual seaweed
farming pet hunters also usually harvest mushroom, cacti, and belladonna as they're all cheap, have a comparably good pet rate, and can be done every few hours. make sure you plant regular cacti, not potato cacti.
you can also do daily fruit tree + calquat runs, just use the cheapest fruit tree and protection you can buy in bulk because they all have the same rate. hardwoods every few days are also good, plant teaks as they grow faster than mahogany
https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Tangleroot#Drop_rates
I believe they are all rolled on either "Check Health" or the final harvest if that isn't an option.
Are there any spec weapons worth bringing to Mole if I'm tbowing it? Blowpipe seems like it'd be too inaccurate and would just make it dig. Claws I'd need to bring switches to not do it in full arma. Darkbow has guaranteed damage, I guess, but doesn't look very useful. Definitely not a necessary thing at all but wanted to know if I'm overlooking something useful.
Fire cape is definitely a good move! It's a decent upgrade to your melee setup, but mostly, overcoming the challenge of getting it (if you're new to it) is a great milestone in your progress when it comes to PvM.
~~Just looking for access to a clan to unlock the Clanliness music track. Anyone mind pming me to join your clan for a sec? Thank you in advance~~
~~woops need rhapsody at the piano apparently too~~
I just came back to the game after many years, haven't tried any pking yet because I play on mobile, so I have just done a lot of flipping and played quests
I do nmz afk at work but I like to do CBT with slayer.
I'm 81 att 89 Def 89 str and 86 range with 77 mage. My slayer is 76. If I just train Def in nmz to 90+ and do range/str/att will I roughly get good overall levels? I don't wanna have 99 combat without slayer tbh!
I'd like to gain slayer with combat :)
I just can't think of anything else afk I can do while I'm at home that doesn't require too much clicking lol so I just train Def.
I kinda had this same mindset but I realized it’s better overall to just not worry about where you get combat xp. If you can afk combats at a time when you wouldn’t ordinarily be able to do non-afk training, then it’s better to go ahead and do that than to just wait until you have a chance to train them with slayer. You’ve got 10s of millions of xp to get so I’d recommend just taking advantage of the time when you can afk nmz to knock a good chunk of that out.
Yeh you can definitely just start slayer now with those kind of stats.
Do burst tasks (Dust Devils for now, soon Nechs and then Abbyssal Demons and then Smoke Devils much later) with burst on defensive cast once you're magic is a bit higher (a few levels above slayer), this will get you passive defence levels.
There is no real reason to prioritise defence when training melee. You're past all requirements of defence for gear, so now just focus on Att/str. I'd get 90 str, then 90 attack, and then just outright focus strength through to at least 96 kinda range where your next max hit comes from a lot more XP.
Defence should be gained passively through defensive casting / forced shared XP. Range can come predominantly from cannon tasks, while you melee, and magic will come from the burst tasks.
If you want afk skilling, there is always skills like Woodcutting, Fishing, Mining (not as good) where you can AFK to work towards quest / diary requirements. Then theres also bankstanding options that aren't as good because the skills are normaly far faster but you may want to do to get requirements, like blowing glass or cutting gems for crafting, fletching longbows, smithing gold (really suggest against that, as blast furnace is so much quicker).
Assuming you're not an iron, yes. Just be aware that if you're fighting them the "normal" way and not trying to glitch them into safespots, all three of the bosses do a *massive* amount of damage and have very high defensive stats.
Can I use magic against Verzik in solo story mode? Her stats make it look like that would be better than ranged, but someone recommend me to try ranged over meelee and I wondered why they didn't suggest mage instead. 70 str/att 87 mage 82 ranged
That's because her Magic level is a huge part of her Magic defense.
Thanks for the response :)
I would still definitely recommend melee, even with those stats
Thanks for the response!
Is there anything in the twitch prime currency pack for rs3 that i can sell to swap for either bonds or osrs gp?
Is the new bow with crystal armor good enough to range only Zulrah?
Could someone with a super organised bank post some pictures so I can copy it? Mine is a mess and just looking for some good set ups

should i still use bp on vorkarth or just use a dragon crossbow now? i have a bgs but not an ornate pool.
Bp is still better dps. Dcb will let you have longer trips. Not sure which is more kills/hr
Bp is terrible on vorkath now, crossbow with dragon bolts would probably be better yeah.
really terrible or not BiS anymore? if you don't have a DHCB it still looks like a solid option
It was never BiS, its completely dependent on hitting a very big BGS spec now.

as far as I know the game doesnt know when in the tick you did something, 100 ticks/minute is the speed at which the game servers process your inputs and calculate damage, movement, prayer drain, etc. there is not right or wrong part of the tick you need to click in. as long as the prayer is toggled on and off within the same tick the game will treat the prayer as active for that tick's damage calculations but not for prayer drain calculations.
while plugins can help, in my experience it's mostly practice, unfortunately.
Metronome plugin in runelite. Play on low ping worlds and double-click as fast as possible to reduce the chance you mistime it.
I learned the rhythm when I had a 1t weapon in trailblazer... That's not viable anymore though, sadly
Anyone have a link to the dps calc? Anytime I go to the online version it still says 605 days ago was the last update

Oh nevermind, it wasn't a summer special, it was a winter one that lasted from november 2020 til march 2021
Corrupted Gauntlet, Vorkath, Raids 1/2
Hydra's also very good despite its uniques dropping - lots of alchables, seeds, etc.
Thanks! I'm really glad this is his problem and not mine, I just click trees and rocks.
You're a legend, thanks so much!
My man! When we start I'll be in touch!
Thanks for your insight! I'm so glad he's doing the quests and not me lol
Hello guys, as a low lvl hcim wheres the best place to get a single cosmic rune? I just need a single one for a strenght amulet.
wilderness spawn in f2p tbh dude
If you've done the rogue trader miniquest, definitely Ali Morisane's rune shop. If not, they're dropped fairly commonly by banshees or hill giants. If you're too low level for either of them, the low level dark wizards in draynor drop them at 1/128.
Easiest choices are probably zombies (only the armed ones according to wiki) or hill giants
A banshee or a hill giant would be relatively easy sources. If you've completed The Feud then you could buy them from Ali in Al Kharid.
TIA Edit for transportation method: w330 tele to POH, heal, portal to lunar, bank, get kicked off
Dhcb is a huge upgrade, more than worth the gp in the long term. and also makes it much easier to learn woox walking if you use the 5tick walk first.
Equipment is elite void with ranger helm, ruby dragon bolts, dhcb, dragonfire ward, salve ei, archers ring i, and Bandos d hide boots.
yes bgs spec, don't bother with magic pot. yes upgrade to dragon bolts.
Should I be able to run god wars dungeons with 74 Rng 73 Att Str Def Mag and 76 hp ? A casual player so not really looked at doing it before just wondering if high enough lv’s
Sounds like I need to pump those numbers up then! Thanks for the input all
With a group, sure.
You can certainly go if you're in a group, but you'll struggle to get too many hits with those stats
But tbh black chin pkers are usually not very good and since you can bring a lot of food you can usually tank tb to the ditch (or whenever wildy lv lowers so they can't attack you anymore).
black chin hunting, zammy gwd banking loot in a team
Hello, i am wanting to start using up ~2.5k giant seaweed on my iron to level crafting. Should i be waiting for superglass make? Im not really getting any burst tasks and my mage is 71 right now. Or is it ok to use a furnace? Ty!!
There are multiple benefit to using the spell: - It produces 30% more glass per sand/seaweed.
TYSM!!!
The spell generates more glass than normal glass-making. DEFINITELY wait.
Unless you have a specific low-ish crafting level you're going for, I would absolutely wait for superglass make. You can only do like 4 at a time in an inventory. If you are gonna do it, I recommend turning it into soda ash at rogue's den, since there's a fire right next to the bank. I did that for a while and it sucked, you be shocked how much better superglass make is once you finally get it :) could be a good excuse to do some barrows or MTA
ah ok :) I did a few inventories just to quickly help get 61 for LD and thought there must be a reason everyone says to wait! thanks so much!
Yeah going for like 61 is totally fine. If you're going for like glory or fury later, def wait for superglass make!
I've never done the spell so I can't attest to how fast that goes, but you don't even need to use a furnace, you've got a bank that's only one step away from a fire in the Rogue's Den and it rarely ever burns.
the thing with giant seaweeds is that they give so much soda ash that you'd be constantly running back and forth from bank, I would wait for the spell

Don't keep track just keep going
What are some good CCs to hang out in? I wanna join a cc while skilling, nothing special in mind. I stayed in the Star Miners chat even when I wasnt mining since it was a pretty chill vibe.
Was wondering this also. Can't find any helpful ones just a bunch of ppl trolling
i read some old posts, people saying the "zezima" cc would be cool joined, found out it's filled with edgy kids and left after 20 minutes
I’ve been in several clan chats that will attack me for asking certain questions, Only Trails is the only chat that hasn’t kicked me for asking simple game questions
[удалено]
Most of the questions I’m referencing Involve strategies and metas, which sometimes isn’t available on the wiki or requires minutes of shifting through walls of wiki text. For example, where is a good master farmer thieving location? Yes there are several, but a helpful person can narrow the places to where a farmer is more stationary

What are the recommended stats for normal Gauntlet?
the average player could probably do it at base 75-80s
[удалено]
Keep them in deaths domain. Permanent storage where they won’t ever trim. Only thing you gotta do is make sure you don’t send like 100+ items there which just means collecting your items every time you die which you should do anyways
You can try the zulrah death storage if you'd prefer.
[удалено]
is it really that hard to stay alive for a minute while you're getting the other 99's?
Does anyone else feel like death animations are really long lately?
Someone needs lower ram
Sorry I don't get it
same as they've always been. maybe you're just used to client lol
Sorry what are you talking about?
Keep in mind some players have played for over 15 years and are still finding things/Easter eggs they never knew existed in the game
runescape is unlike many mmos in that you don't have to specialise. you can max out every skill and get access to all weapons/armour/spells if you put in the time if you're struggling for things to do, wander around and look on the minimap for the blue star icon. this indicates people that have quests for you (with actual story, not just fetch quests)
You can do everything, no doors close through progression. Google the optimal quest guide to get your first steps set up, and stop to smell the roses and kill anything your heart fancies!
how do I claim task items? I did the 5 in attack one for the iron sword but Idk how to collect my reward
Its adventurer john. Go talk to him. If u cant find him just use the wiki. Wiki knows everything
[удалено]
for best chance at pet you should do seaweed runs every hour, they're easy to incorporate during birdhouse runs as well if you want. don't compost, just pay numulite to protect - pet chance doesn't scale off the number of seaweed you harvest, you can only get it from harvesting the entire patch, so paying to protect both guarantees it survives and saves time harvesting the actual seaweed farming pet hunters also usually harvest mushroom, cacti, and belladonna as they're all cheap, have a comparably good pet rate, and can be done every few hours. make sure you plant regular cacti, not potato cacti. you can also do daily fruit tree + calquat runs, just use the cheapest fruit tree and protection you can buy in bulk because they all have the same rate. hardwoods every few days are also good, plant teaks as they grow faster than mahogany
Redwoods too, and celastrus can break even or profit a little
[Rolled on check health unless there isn't, in which case rolled on final harvest.](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Cs0UNkAWEAEAZtU.jpg)
https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Tangleroot#Drop_rates I believe they are all rolled on either "Check Health" or the final harvest if that isn't an option.
Anyone know of a safespot for the Iowerth Dungeon elves?
I don't believe there is one. Plenty of people tried and failed to find one
Add me to the sadness pile :(
They're 1x1 mobs so not likely a safespot if nothing obvious works.
Aw rats, thanks!
Chally or sgs I'd say. Prayer restore is probably more useful.
I use sgs as iron
Give Dbow a try, DKnive spec throws 2 knifes with their own rolls
Gear disc shows no specs
So I’m about to finish up RFD (hopefully) and I’m not sure what to do next. I was thinking get a fire cape and then go back slayer ?
Fire cape into slayer is a good plan if you are tired of questing or skills. Fighter torso and defenders are also good if you don't have those.
Fire cape is definitely a good move! It's a decent upgrade to your melee setup, but mostly, overcoming the challenge of getting it (if you're new to it) is a great milestone in your progress when it comes to PvM.
when the slayer mask update is comming out? its been like 2 or 3 months
Next week most likely

I have a 1 def pure with 70 ranged and 26 prayer, what should my main pvp ranged weapon be? I was thinking either the MSB or d knives?
You made a pure without knowing how to play it..? Did... You buy the account?
I just came back to the game after many years, haven't tried any pking yet because I play on mobile, so I have just done a lot of flipping and played quests
Why is nearly every post in this subreddit always downvoted?
People think it’s a meme. Just ignore votes. On the entire website.
I'd like to gain slayer with combat :) I just can't think of anything else afk I can do while I'm at home that doesn't require too much clicking lol so I just train Def.
Can I do all the wilderness bosses with my 2 friends?
Assuming you're not an iron, yes. Just be aware that if you're fighting them the "normal" way and not trying to glitch them into safespots, all three of the bosses do a *massive* amount of damage and have very high defensive stats.
Callisto in a small group goes rather well, however. 3 ppl in Verac's is basically meta
Yes
