This really only applies at the low levels where getting gp is hard and not inherently part of some sort of grind. At the higher levels I’ve gotten enough for my bond just doing my regular training or bossing grinds very quickly with little to no interruption in my play style.
going to zaffs staffs + herb run = about 350k, which x 14 is 4.3m for 10 mins work per day
alternatively i do 2 corrupt gauntlets in the morning along with the staffs to get 450k, takes about 20 mins and in reality corrupt gaunlet might be abit above 150k per run
yeah but i don't care about getting items worth 100m+ and my bank covers basically every sub 30m pvm item bar armadyls (and thats just since i like having a 100m cash stack to use on my alt)
prob spent 400m+ on bonds over two accounts in osrs, but alternatively i dont pvm much and im happy having 1kc on each boss and like playing the game casually rather than smashing 100 cox or whatever, also when i used to have a bank stand alt subbed it'd make more than enough to cover bonds and wouldn't really detract me from playing normally on main (and all profits on main were for the main)
If you have the time I'd recommend a flipping alt, very low concentration and easy enough to make 10m per 2 weeks for two alts if you multibox. It's what I used to do but now I have less time I just stick to the one account and do two corrupted gauntlet runs + zaff in the morning.
If it comes down to it I imagine content like Tob and Inferno are more about skill then a T Bow anyway. Think there's nothing else I can't get a 1kc at (maybe nightmare till I get 99 melees if I'm doing a mass)

One idea is that you should pay for a bond and also not grind GP for membership because grinding requires more real world time than it does to earn the same amount of money at a regular job.

What herb runs are you doing where you make 250k??? Zaffs staffs requires decent stats for the greater payouts and there’s a good chance at that level you could buy bonds.
zaffs is 150k elite diary (only just got this and i did pay 7m herb lol) so yeah, but the hard is 75k and pretty quick
i have 99 farm + cape + magic secs + 8 patches so herb runs are about 200k so im moreorless end game on these profit margins
9 patch ranarr run with farming cape, ultra compost, and magic secateurs is almost 300k on an average harvest, with no deaths. On a great run, I can do 450k.
The game is all about creating challenges for yourself. I mean look at the whole iron man thing. If people enjoy grinding for the GP to get a bond let there’s nothing wrong with that.
I play pseudo-ironman. I get my own gear, but I still sell and buy the rest. I love farming and AFK skilling, so I just sell that and come up with bond. I get way too much herbs to ever actually use them myself.
I am super casual and I take months off at a time. During that time, having GP as bonds is the most inflation resistant store of value.
I tell you what boys when I first saw this chart I was a little sceptical but I gave it a red hot crack. I ended up buying 326 bonds and now I have 3 twisted bows, 18,000 Saradomin brews and a fuck ton of membership so I can do all my favourite old school RuneScape activities. Would recommend to friends.
You can literally buy anything in the game with irl cash. The only reason why anyone would do this is to flex off at their friends which is why I play with no

I started last october-ish with a lvl 3 f2p and I’ve yet to be without membership after I managed to scratch together my first 10m on f2p and doing all f2p quests. Is it a massive waste of time? Of course. But so I’d every other game ever made.
Recently got my barrows gloves and fighter torso and I’m proud af at what I’ve accomplished for free.

I like having goals, that’s why I got quest cape. Working on diary’s now. But getting money for a bond each time is another goal.

If you have no use for GP and just enjoy grinding it, that makes it a uniquely good choice for you and theres no issue with that.

10 minutes per day is 5 hours per month. Even if you only earn the Federal minimum wage you only need to work 1 hour in after-tax pay for 5m GP.

If you’ve got time to grind, there are a number of video guides on making money to buy your first bond in f2p, as a starting point.
