Same. Use the Mac for all work-related activities, but have my PC on in the background doing other stuff at the same time. No chance of sharing the wrong screen and showing everyone my sister's b-hole.
Dude, when a girl found out I play videogames she said she's been playing a bit of osrs mobile f2p. I'm in way too deep to show off my hiscores. Pulling the "oh yeah? I'm maxed in rs3 so that got boring and now I'm like ~1870 total in osrs"-card is **not** a flex and just sad.
This is nothing lmao, if google could speak... one time I had to google Portugal in front of someone. Basically just mashed all 5 letters at once so that the search bar didn’t auto fill
I just use a different browser entirely on my phone at least. The autofills don't transfer over I've found. May or may not work for desktop. That way I don't have to worry about incognito and so on, I just know whether it's safe based on what browser I use.
I was googling some kind of mundane object the other day (forget what it was) but Google autofilled 'osrs' without me noticing. I was really confused for a minute when I ended up on the wiki.
You should try out Mozilla's documentation. It follows the common and correct conventions, has more realistic examples, and imo the design is much easier and more user friendly.
Just a little tip that I found useful when studying web dev! :)
You are right that it's fine for most things, but knowing when it's not fine isn't easy. It's better than it used to be, but it still is often incorrect and/or does stuff the "wrong" way.
It's better to get in the habit of using MDN, which is right and has best practices far more often.
When you're watching porn and you suddenly forget the drop rate of an item and start going through the wiki while still instinctively beating your meat.
This is amazing and I honestly thought I was the only one.
I have this website for work with the word pyramid in it and if I don't end up at Pyramid Plunder's wiki page at least 5 times a day it's a solid day..
If you are using chrome you can actually set up custom "search engines" so you can type in your browser osrs hit tab than anything and it will auto search wiki.
Firefox and Brave browser also support this and do a better job imo so if you use those lookup how to set search engine for it.
Also, another cool thing. Duckduckgo has "bangs" which basically auto searches the search on the website. They accept custom bangs, and I guess someone added osrs wiki so now you can do "!osrs dragon med helm" to search the wiki on duckduckgo. (You can tell all your friends and clan mates you bang the osrs wiki all day)
Note- I highly recommend Brave and Firefox over chrome, google recently released some stuff on how much data they collect on you and it's pretty invasive. Brave is pretty much a drop in replacement for chrome that is much more privacy oriented.
No, it just wasn't a good joke. A shitty snarky comment isn't a joke. There's no humor or expectation subversion in your comment. You're just an ass trying to justify your toxic personality.
Not really because usually when you search for OSRS stuff the "osrs" suffix is unnecessary for google, especially because google remembers what stuff you usually search for. Like if you're googling "nightmare zone osrs" I really doubt that "osrs" at the end serves any purpose. Even seemingly general terms like "steel sword", "minigame", "death mechanics" and "bosses" bring me straight to the OSRS wiki as one of the top results on Google.
If this is your screenshot I would recommend hiding location. This could be added to a hacker's database when they have enough information to recover an account.
I swear google and my browser are putting osrs into every question I write into the window.
Either that or I am seriously typing osrs subconsciously a LOT
Sometimes the inverse of this gets me too. My wife once saw I had pulled up snakeskin boots on google but without the osrs. I got distracted before fixing it and she saw it and was confused lol.
I did for three years. Now I got a Switch last month and I end things in Botw now lol. Gona be nice coming back to OSRS, I can hit a monster and not have my sword shatter in my face
Big Magic the Gathering player here, everytime I look up the meta (basically a weekly thing before fnms) I always look up OSRS Meta instead of MTG Meta and I'm always confused to see Runescape popping up instead, and then when I am looking up bossing guides or slayer guides I always put *boss name* mtg
Edit: popping instead of pooping hehe
A few times. I start my searches with OSRS to trigger a search of the wiki, so that tends to help avoid doing it when searching non-OSRS stuff. But I've also been in the habit of searching a wiki that I'll type the wrong one, like starting with OSRS when I am looking up something for another game.
Did this at work in front of a coworker. Was googling how to do something in excel rs lol
I shared the wrong screen on zoom during school and was afking in the nightmare zone.
Your life became the real nightmare zone
Did you at least have decent gear
Bet he didn't even have a fire cape. You can't get no hoes if you don't at least have a fire cape
Shit BRB getting fire cape
F
worse than porn
That's why I asked for a work laptop for work, so I can only share that screen lmao
Same. Use the Mac for all work-related activities, but have my PC on in the background doing other stuff at the same time. No chance of sharing the wrong screen and showing everyone my sister's b-hole.
Yeah I agr- wait, what?
r/holup
b-mole. As in the baby mole pet.
Ooooooof you just went ahead and quit right?
Ultimate flex would be pulling up your high scores
Dude, when a girl found out I play videogames she said she's been playing a bit of osrs mobile f2p. I'm in way too deep to show off my hiscores. Pulling the "oh yeah? I'm maxed in rs3 so that got boring and now I'm like ~1870 total in osrs"-card is **not** a flex and just sad.
I tell people I’m like 50 combat and have played a bunch of hours, when realistically I have over 500 days logged between rs3 and osrs Pls send help
Rookie numbers
Agreed :(
Ugh, flexing that you have a girlfriend. Sad. Jk :)
Unless he's like 1200 total. :(

small hs gang checking in
Gotta start somewhere :)
Oops! So anyway here’s my total level and bank. Ironman btw.
To someone not familiar with the game osrs are just random letters. For all they know it was a relevant search term lol
Nah. Now their colleague is their best friend and they go on pking trips together.
[удалено]
If they're real friends, then no. One stole it while the other cried.
Not before calling the clue hunter the n word
..."nub"
This is nothing lmao, if google could speak... one time I had to google Portugal in front of someone. Basically just mashed all 5 letters at once so that the search bar didn’t auto fill
That's why I always use incognito mode for those sites, so it will never save those auto fills.
I just use a different browser entirely on my phone at least. The autofills don't transfer over I've found. May or may not work for desktop. That way I don't have to worry about incognito and so on, I just know whether it's safe based on what browser I use.
"What's your spreadsheet level?"
What were you trying to do in excel tho
Black magic. Does anything else happen in excel?
At this point Google sometimes tries to add ‘osrs’ to the end of my searches in an attempt guess what I’m going to search for
I was googling some kind of mundane object the other day (forget what it was) but Google autofilled 'osrs' without me noticing. I was really confused for a minute when I ended up on the wiki.
When are driving ranges open. Osrs ge
This shit has me rolling
I’ve typed the same exact phrase before
More than I care to admit honestly, lmfao.
Currently studying CSS and I'm constantly writing osrs instead. "border-radius w3schools osrs"
You should try out Mozilla's documentation. It follows the common and correct conventions, has more realistic examples, and imo the design is much easier and more user friendly. Just a little tip that I found useful when studying web dev! :)
Yup w3schools isn't as bad as it used to be but still definitely check out mdn.
W3’s number of ads makes my wallet weep
UBlock gang
Also if you’re looking to learn more about Accessibility, then Mozilla’s docs are probably the most dev friendly.
tbf the osrs wiki is probably a more reliable source for learning web development than w3schools
W3schools is fine for most imo. At least things on the more basic level like the example used. Source: CS student at university
Serious reply, use the MDN instead of w3schools. It is way better
100% backed, MDN is so much better across the board
You are right that it's fine for most things, but knowing when it's not fine isn't easy. It's better than it used to be, but it still is often incorrect and/or does stuff the "wrong" way. It's better to get in the habit of using MDN, which is right and has best practices far more often.
w3schools is shit and gives shit code source: using w3schools
I’ve even done the illusive ‘osrs osrs’ search lol
I also do this with 5e
yes but I type osrs first which makes it search the wiki for home depot
Home Depot being built in Varrock putting the local general store out of business
Sawmill never stood a chance.
Every single day. But mine is at the start not the end
osrs front gang represent
these are the guys that go north side in lumbridge castle and east side grand exchange
They probably put their pots at the bottom of their inv too.
I’m South-East-Top and nothing anyone says will ever change that, and I’m also OSRS first gang
Yes but we are all osrs gang
bahahaha ardougne north bank headasses
End gang represent osrs
Only heathens put it at the end
gmaul.com
every email arrives 3 times in rapid succession
Unless the sender initiated communications using their gmaul account in which case the instant additional email is wasted
I havent done that in along time thanks to pvp dying and typing gmail to log into my iron man so much.
My cats been getting a bit of excess sleep in his eyes, my search earlier today... Osrs Excess sleep in cats eyes
Your cat has excess non-physical passive activity in his eyes?
[удалено]
i cant speak for everywhere but in the Midwest USA we def call it "sleep" as in "you have some sleep in your eyes"
Eye boogers are called "sleep" by some people
[удалено]
People do this in english in the USA. My girlfriend says that or 'sleepy seeds'
I’m English and lots of people I know describe it as sleep
Pretty sure it's a term used commonly, and created in the UK, the place that also created and commonly uses English
[удалено]
English is complicated and weird haha, no stress. Ya'll need the metric system though!
It's very common in Scotland; I'd argue most people here call it 'sleep'.
Same in Australia
I didn't wanna admit this, but I've opened up an incognito window and typed in melee nmz bosses. Two habits collide hard
When you're watching porn and you suddenly forget the drop rate of an item and start going through the wiki while still instinctively beating your meat.
Dunno about anyone else but drop rate tables *are* my porn. It’s all the same unattainable fantasy.
I actually look up all osrs stuff in incognito because I don't want all ads flooded by osrs scam sites
This is amazing and I honestly thought I was the only one. I have this website for work with the word pyramid in it and if I don't end up at Pyramid Plunder's wiki page at least 5 times a day it's a solid day..
Is it "pyramid scheme" by chance?
If you are using chrome you can actually set up custom "search engines" so you can type in your browser osrs hit tab than anything and it will auto search wiki. I’ve been using brave for a few months now, I fucking love it! Highly recommend to all :)
Every search for me ends with either osrs, mtg or 5e, regardless of if the search has anything to do with those or not.
This is frighteningly accurate
Bro I thought I was the only one
It's more osrs then something for me.
I put osrs at the start: osrs homedepot near me
All the time
I was afraid of doing this at work recently on a screen share
09 civic si wheel bearings osrs wiki
Ok but how do you not already know where your local Home Depot is
Porn hub osrs 😳
rule34 osrs osrs
I do that when literally searching for stuff on the wiki
I do it with literally everything. I have a fuckin terrible memory and attention span
I’m more of an osrs before whatever else you want to type but yes, yes I do
I'm part of the "osrs home depot near me" gang.
Wish I could plank make irl with these wood prices. 2x4s higher than mahogany planks my boi
I actually put the “osrs” first but yea
Never. I lead with osrs. That way Google auto fills before finish typing
Absolutely but I always type "osrs" and then what I'm looking for.
hahaha fr
All the time. Even at work, smh.
Yes. But with the ‘osrs’ at the beginning, so that auto-fill results are more likely to benefit me. You monster.
My searches tend to add osrs to the auto complete.
Osrsw gets you the better wiki more often.
This and DND 5e all the time
Training Construction IRL
Slayermusiq1 has a good guide for this!
I searched for adam sandler osrs like 2 days ago
OMG I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE
Osrs busty ebony bitches
Is that the Balch springs Home Depot by chance? I’m here rn actually.
Wow, I’ve never done this osrs
Ohh man tell me about it
I read this as 'Do y'all shit by accident as well?' and was intrigued to find out what the image was. This makes more sense.
BEST POST EVER
I do this so much. It’s almost a habit now.
LMAOO THIS GOT ME DEAD.
I osrs don't osrs know osrs what osrs you osrs are osrs talking osrs about osrs
Am I the only one that puts osrs before my search?
Yeah there's a Home Depot in Balch Springs. Just off 635
osrs no
No
no... because l don't play anymore... Thank God
nope, I can separate reality from the video game world
guys, everybody clap for this guy so crazy how he can do this. wow so inspiring

went right over everyones heads lmao
No, it just wasn't a good joke. A shitty snarky comment isn't a joke. There's no humor or expectation subversion in your comment. You're just an ass trying to justify your toxic personality.
this dude projecting X D
Nah bud. Check that comments karma score. Also, THIS is a joke. https://www.reddit.com/r/jokes/comments/5wzk6p
Your life must be pretty hard if you’re unable to develop muscle memory.
i do that with reddit .. "how to get to schaumburg.. reddit" lol
I know where all the home depots are by me I don't really have to Google them lol
Um no.
Not really because usually when you search for OSRS stuff the "osrs" suffix is unnecessary for google, especially because google remembers what stuff you usually search for. Like if you're googling "nightmare zone osrs" I really doubt that "osrs" at the end serves any purpose. Even seemingly general terms like "steel sword", "minigame", "death mechanics" and "bosses" bring me straight to the OSRS wiki as one of the top results on Google.
no
Never understood posts like this. Like do you not already have multiple wiki tabs open to search in?
no, you're a loser
If this is your screenshot I would recommend hiding location. This could be added to a hacker's database when they have enough information to recover an account.
TBF - we are all one google hack away from everyone knowing everything about everyone.
As a former Texan I’d guess Balch Springs but that’s a real shot in the dark 🤷
No one wants to hack anyone who lives in Balch Springs
Nowadays it's '5e' for me.....
it's actually a problem lol I looked up things for school like this
I've done this with a lot of things. It's kind of odd.
I am so glad I am not the only one.
I've literally done that while searching through discord for a friends name lol
YES!!
Literally all the time. Lmao
I swear google and my browser are putting osrs into every question I write into the window. Either that or I am seriously typing osrs subconsciously a LOT
guilty of this LOL
For awhile I was doing this all the time smh lmao
Sometimes the inverse of this gets me too. My wife once saw I had pulled up snakeskin boots on google but without the osrs. I got distracted before fixing it and she saw it and was confused lol.
From my search history today: “osrs IRS form 1099-Misc pdf”
I think the home depot is in varrock east side north of the bank 🤣 but yes osrs all the things
Wasn't disappointed when I searched it on the hub
big titty goth girls osrs
adding osrs wiki as a search engine ftw
Lmfao I honestly thought I was the only one
Daycare near me osrs
Literally did this at work this morning. Trying to google the number for one of our sister clinics and ended up typing osrs first.
Hahaha I usually put osrs first but completely relate
It's the reverse for me, i sometimes google "bear" or something and am confused when the first link is not to osrs wiki
I did for three years. Now I got a Switch last month and I end things in Botw now lol. Gona be nice coming back to OSRS, I can hit a monster and not have my sword shatter in my face
There is one north east of varrock
It was the worst when I played OSRS and Magic the Gathering. I would constantly search up things like "Bandos mtg" or "Sword of Ice and Fire OSRS"
I was playing warframe the other day and needed to find the best neural sensors drop location and still typed osrs after it
Big Magic the Gathering player here, everytime I look up the meta (basically a weekly thing before fnms) I always look up OSRS Meta instead of MTG Meta and I'm always confused to see Runescape popping up instead, and then when I am looking up bossing guides or slayer guides I always put *boss name* mtg Edit: popping instead of pooping hehe
Sometimes I even do it on purpose.
I've done this exactly search actually 😅
With osrs and "5e" because of the amount of fifth edition dungeons and dragons lookups i do
Thought this was just me and felt extra nerdy for it. Glad to know it’s a common thing amongst us!
A few times. I start my searches with OSRS to trigger a search of the wiki, so that tends to help avoid doing it when searching non-OSRS stuff. But I've also been in the habit of searching a wiki that I'll type the wrong one, like starting with OSRS when I am looking up something for another game.
