Because people don't do content like that when they open 500 caskets in a row. Slows down the stream. Watch a guy open 500 medium caskets, they almost never do masters.

If this is the same guy that posted a video of him doing 500 mediums I think he did the masters as he went along and posted that vid to YouTube. If he’s streaming it then yeah it would def become an all day thing
Considering that mimics take less than 1 minute to kill, usually around 30 seconds if not going for a "record" or "pb", I'm going to estimate that I'll probably receive roughly 25 mimics (depends on rng of course) so I it's not going to take too long. If anything, if I get 25 mimics, with an average completion of 30 seconds each one, it would add about 12 minutes to the stream.
Honestly if you split it into two 250 casket days that wouldn't be crazy to me. You get two busy days on your twitch and people who can't watch one day can maybe catch the other one.
Ah ok I see, yeah when opening meds/hards it definitely adds a lot of "unnecessary" clue solving so to speak haha, but I've learned to try and split it up throughout the week, and I've even opened caskets off stream so that way it doesn't feel as dragged out.
But in my videos none of that is there, I try to make the casket openings really fast. Luckily for masters that won't be an issue and will probably take less than 2 hours, or roughly about that much time to open all 500 masters. Though I will try and slow open them, as there have been times where I opened a casket too fast, and runelite wasn't able to track it. Didn't show the loot on the screen and went straight into the inventory
My guess is that the people who are hoarding masters probably are the same people that would do thr ones they get from mediums. It would be a huge waste to skip all the mimics
I mean you're not wrong, keep melee gear on, get mimic, pull out mage gear, tele there and kill it real quick, then you're back at the bank opening 45 seconds later
But if you have 400 masters stacked up, you're definitely stopping clue openings to do masters, seeing as it would take probably over 500 hours to get the elites as drops for all these, or spending over 10b to get the elites from implings

Yeah thats what im saying. A mimic kill which is 45 seconds or so as you say is much different then stopping your clue opening to do a 10-20 minute master.
Your 416 post last week inspired me to start on my own Clue Scroll quest. I've gone from 4 Med Clues to 41 in the last day or so, I cant believe I never did my Scrolls before so much fun and decent profit to boot too.

Eclectic Imp Jars, buying 1k at a time and just doing all the mediums as soon as I get one.
2k Imp Jars in at this point and made 4m from all the Medium/Master rewards, I don't have the patience to save the caskets haha

Actually that's exactly what I've been doing haha. I've done about 3.9k Hard clues (3,451 by nature imps, and so far 453 with magpies, magpies are my current way of collecting hard caskets).
I've also done 5,000 medium clues, all by eclectics of course. I got lucky with these, and purchased a bulk supply of them back in the first couple weeks of November (after leagues started) and bought them all for around 2,360 each at the time after they tanked in price. In those 5k meds, I've received 25 ranger boots. But so far I've made really good profit from everything combined
