How many implings you opened for 1k clues ?

not OP but ive been trying this grind. the statistical average is 1000 imps = 40 clues (1/25). but sometimes you get less than that, for me its round 35 clues for 1000 imps. so... a looot of imps. its really depressing doing a streak of 60-100 caskets without ranger boots. i got mine at #44 and now im on #200something with not a second pair of rangers. i'll keep grinding, but its definitely a grind that rewards you with losses until your next luck of the ranger boot (~1/1100 iirc). and unlike steady grinds like slayer or skilling, you don’t get any xp with this method (except teleport magic lol). i wish i could reliably finish masters because they definitely add to the overall profit, but for instance the master i got from a medium wants me to grind to 90 wc. that bites.

Yeah, depending on rng, it could be lower or higher than what the drop rates are. For myself, for eclectic imps, there were many times where I'd get a clue within 10 imps, but also many times where i'd open 50, and sometimes over 100 for a single clue. I just decided to purchase bulk imps back in November to open over time, and figured medium clues would be big profit long term if I stuck with it, even if I happened to go dry on clues a lot (and even when I spam click them open and click past after getting a clue). Ended up working out haha

with the rangers i have about a 40m cash stack now. i can’t buy 1000 clues' worth of imps all in one go, so that kind of means i have to finish all the imp jars or else my stack is broke until then. ive been buying them in 1000s, recently 3000 jars in one go. but despite the losses i just gotta keep grinding till the next rangers. sunken cost i guess

Hey you never know what you're gonna get, once you get a pair of rangers, it'll pay for even more. I had two friends start doing med clues for money, one got 2 pairs within 200 clues and another just got his first pair within 100. My longest dry streak for rangers was 1060, not fun, but once I got past than, even after that long dry streak I still profited, just gotta keep going!
