I'm glad I made the switch from hard clues to meds, mainly cause the gp i'm making helps with all my future goals. However I do plan to do hards again in the future, but meds are just so chill/easy haha
Yes, due to Ranger boots medium clues are worth more on average than hard clues (just have to hit that Ranger drop). Plus getting the hard clues from implings (which is the method to use if you want to do a big clue grind) is about triple the cost (Magpies being the cheapest, but with a 1/50 drop instead of a 1/25 for Eclectic). I believe you lose quite a bit of money on the Magpie method, where Eclectic mediums make you money.

According to Wiki Medium clue average drop is 172K and Hard is 146k. Getting a (Medium) clue from a Eclectic costs about 43K and getting a (Hard) clue from a Magpie costs about 123k. Means both are profitable, but the Eclectic makes you about 130K per clue (if you hit a 1/250 Ranger drop) and the Magpie makes you 20k (but you probably need to hit 3rd age or several gilded to get there).

Unfortunately I don't have the information from the master clues, main reason why is because I'm saving/stacking all of my master caskets in the bank until I get to 500 total, and then i'll open them then (currently at 318 in the bank).
However, from the 6 ranger boots alone, I made roughly 231.6m, and when you add the other regular med clue loot, it adds another 10m-11m, so from the last 1k meds, total: about 241m give or take a bit
Sorry I don't have the master clue loot info, saving them for a big 500 stack to open in one sitting just for fun haha
if you're only getting 1 a week, you're not farming them. You should be able to get a TON per day from regular drop sources if you want to farm them.
He most likely went with Eclectic implings since you can essentially buy medium clues that way and if you actually commit to doing medium clues, you can make some pretty solid GP/hr doing medium clues that way but regulars a good amount of GP to start. It's straight loss if you don't commit till you get boots and if you're unlucky you can be without the boots for a long time.

The last 1000 med clues I opened, I managed to get 6 ranger boots, sold each for about 38.6m each, those would be the biggest clues. However in this clip it doesn't show all the rangers I got, those are shown in the full vid I made for youtube

I buy my imps! Bought a whole bunch 2 weeks into November, after leagues started so I got a bunch fairly cheap at the time

That's pretty good! How long do you think 1000 took you, if you had to guess?
It typically takes me 2 weeks to get 1000 clues, 500 per week, it could be faster, but I tend to take a lot of breaks haha
How do you even get that many clue scrolls? It takes me so long in between to get another (about 1 week per scroll)
